I believe in God, I pray....but tell me this.

WHY DOES RELIGION HAVE TO BE INVOLVED WITH EVERYTHING? I mean, I like God. I believe I don't have to go to church to worship God. I don't have to sit and hear the priest saying an analogy comparing oranges to God.

Like, the Japanese earthquake/tsunami was caused by NATURAL CAUSES. Religion doesn't have to be involved with everything.

It's like saying that drawing is caused by a teacher performing a magic trick on your fukking pencil.

Ok, I'm sick of this sh!t. So, hopefully, many of you know that there was an earthquake a week ago.

So, I of course, say to a group of people, "Japan, you're in my prayers."

Because, (Don't bash me yet Atheists) I believe in God (obviously).

And this atheist little assshat (not saying all atheists are assshats, just this one) says, "PRAYING DOESN'T DO SH!T, WHAT ABOUT DOING SOMETHING?"

and to which I respond,

"Ok, my cousin is in Sendai Airport right now. He has no food, no water, and his clothes have been washed away. At least he got to call us before his battery died. At least we have the evidence he's still alive, unlike many of the other families that still haven't gotten a call from their loved ones. But, he even said, all he can do is 'pray for a miracle'. Because that's all he has left." I was super pissed off. I mean you would to right?

So, basically, what my question is...what do you think about this Japanese earthquake and how it's tied to religion? I mean, I don't believe this earthquake has ANYTHING to do with religion whatsoever. I believe it's just plate tectonics. However, I'm still going to pray for those people affected by this and their loved ones. Give me your thoughts, just not any stupid ones like:

A few months ago, I had my homecoming and I went alone. I dressed up in this dress I found at this rummage sale, did my hair for the first time, and actually put on makeup. I'm usually the girl that never wears makeup, doesn't really care about how her hair looks, or the clothes I wear. Once I went to homecoming, the b!tch3s went loose. I mean, once I was on the dance floor, girls started whispering to each other saying "WHO THE EFF IS SHE?" and giving me snotty looks. All the guys started checking me out and it was really weird. I left early because it was bothering me.

I've got a problem when people have a problem with me. I mean, I don't like it when people I know get jealous of me or start getting insecure when they're around me. So...

There's this guy ok, and I really, really like him. The problem is, a lot of girls like him as well. I can tell he likes me a lot but I don't want the other girls to get jealous or mad or act mean around me (I know the feeling). I don't want for girls to talk about me behind my back because of me dating him.

Should I date this guy or should I let him go for other people?
