After more than 2000 years of Christianity and after having translated the teaching of Jesus Christ in so many languages, we still find ourselves short of following God's will and reaching that state where God's kingdom reigns among us so that we can rightly say, 'God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven'? Did we miss something here? What actually stalled the whole process of change?

Most of the time, mental patients are automatically handled by attending or resident psychiatrist or psychologist. At this point, problems of spiritual nature are dealt with as cause by human nature explaining events as hallucinations or mere mental imagery when they are not. At some point, the belief of the psychiatrist clashes with the belief of the patient and more conflict ensued causing the problem to get more complicated. Should we give rights to patient to chose the psychiatrist to handle their case before any diagnostic procedure is started? Should psychiatrist or psychologist inform their patient of their religious affiliation prior to any psychiatrict or psychological procedure?

This lines are quoted from a prayer by a minister and just want to know how "Yahoo! Answers group" react to these statements:

1. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.

2. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.

3. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.

4. We have killed our unborn and called it choice.

5. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

6. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem.

7. We have abused power and called it politics.

8. We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition.

9. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of __expression.

10. We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Please enlighten me.
