who seems to stand me up frequently or forget about plans. She went through a divorce, so had a lot going on. Her life is pretty stable now, so thought this pattern would stop.

She did something nice for me recently in helping with an estate sale that I had to put together last minute for my family.

But then last night we were supposed to go to a concert, and she stood me up via email 15 minutes before the concert was to start because she got hung up at work. I am glad I had my blackberry on or I would have gone to the concert alone. I went home, but had already paid for the ticket. I emailed her back and stated she owed me dinner.

I have made a preliminary decision that I will invite her out in the future, but only with other friends so that if she stands me up, I won't be alone. Is this the right thing to do, or should I do something else?

I have thought about talking to her about it, but I just don't see her often enough to think it is worth it. Advice?

Hi All,

I am asking this of people that are in successful long-term relationships.

I have been married, and been in a couple of long term relationships. The marriage ended badly. The relationships just ended...not on a sour note.

When I guess I knew when they were over was when I felt I would compromise myself too much to stay.

However, I seem to get caught up in the chemistry, and not look deeper into the relationship itself prior to jumping in head first.

Any tips on what I can do, besides not allowing myself to be in a relationship (current status) that would help out?

OK, so I have a score of 23 percent at this time. However, when I look at the bar graph and the calculations below it, and I use a calculator, I come up with a different score.

462/1473=31%.

Is there something else factored in, or am I really seeing that the Best Answer calculator is off?

I am curious...I have noticed this time and time again. It seems to take me longer to find someone suitable, and usually I feel weird doing that...like I am cheating or something. Please advise, perhaps I need to adjust my attitude.

It appears that all of my pictures remain, but my yahoo avatar has disappeared.

When I go to edit my picture settings, I am given the choice to add the avatar from IM. I do this and click "Save" but when I go back into my settings, the Avatar has disappeared.

Any tips on getting it back? Thanks!
