  • XBOX 360: Can't Create An Online Character In GTA 5?

I know a TON of people are having all sorts of issues with the game and Rockstar. My problem is that I have not been able to get online AT ALL. Period. I can't even create a character. "Rockstar Cloud Servers Are Unavailable". So I am wondering, now that they are going to release a stimulus package, will I even get that? I don't have a character! I am so ticked that a bunch of my friends can get on and play but I can't.

I've checked my internet connection, DSN and tried a bunch of other videos and research. What the heck? Why can't I get on? I can, however, create a temporary character but that is dumb because I cant save anything. Is there anything else I can try to do? I've uninstalled and reinstalled as well.

    I am completely beyond frustrated!

  • Help Uninstall Internet Explorer!?

Ok, so I need to uninstall IE. I am running on Windows Vista.

I opened Control Panel> Programs> Programs and Features

.... Internet Explorer is not listed!

I looked this up on Google and someone said to go into >View Installed Updates> and locate IE from there. However, I cannot find it there either!

When using the search feature from the Start Menu, it locates IE under >Program Files> however, obviously I am missing some thing!

Where is this darn thing so I can uninstall it?!

    Thanks :)

  • Sims 3 Supernatural Glitch? Fairy/Vampire?

okay so I had a vampire in a fairy get married and have a child. it was a girl. she grew into a child and her relationship status show that she was a vampire. however I have the cheats enabled. I modified her from the create a family menu and I changed her from a vampire to a fairy. she is now an adult with very social interactions but no magic bar. she also has vampire social options. but she is lacking the ability to bite anyone or drink plasma juice from the refrigerator. her Hunger bar is changed to thirst, however it is still green instead of purple. I have no way to feed her! I think she is probably going to starve... :( has anyone else experienced this?

by the way I have tried to cure her with an elixer but it just tells me that it had no effect.

  • Need Help With Setting Up A Stackable Washer/Dryer!!!?

Ok here is the quick low-down.

I live in an apartment with no washer/dryer hook ups and no near by laundromats. So, I've been looking to purchase a portable set/low amp set that could be used without any major construction. Well my parents purchased a Stackable Washer/Dryer set that is brand new and from a camper.

Anyways, the great thing is that it only runs off of 110 outlet, because you can only run either the washer or dryer, not both. So we found a spot for it and it can be vented out of a window and have a water line run to it from either a sink or water heater that are both near by.

The only real problem is getting it to drain. It would either need to be run to the outside wall, down a pipe, and into an outside drain. Or have plumbing installed under the floor to run in to the kitchen drain. Too bad we cant just find a way to run it to the kitchen sink for draining.

Can anyone offer and tips or suggestions?

  • I Found Out That My "Coach" Purse Is Fake- What To Do?

Ok so a few years ago I received at cute Coach purse as a Christmas gift. Well it's been collection dust in a closet, so I decided that I'll never use it and I wanted to sell it. However, upon inspection.... I now realize the the purse is INDEED a fake.

Obviously, I can't sell it as a real Coach purse or for a good price. I still would like to sell it on Craigslist anyways. I know that selling replicas are fine as long as you state it is such and as long as the product states it. However, the purse seller was not legit and did make it to look like a real bag. It says Coach in all the right places but the Creed Patch on the inside is horrible misspelled.

Just wondering if I can sell it for a modest price and state that it IS A FAKE/REPLICA and is not intended to be sold as a legit Coach---- Or do I need to turn it in somewhere?

  • Very Confusing... Please Help?

Do You Think I Could Be Pregnant?

First off ------- Obviously I know it's kind of stupid to be asking this online of course, but hear me out.

I am somewhere between 10-14 days late.

Date of my last menstrual cycle was June 15th

I am not on Birth Control

My Periods are regular 24-28 days at the latest

I have taken 2 tests in the last 4 days, both with negative results

I honestly had no worries because I was cramping and thought that I was for sure going to start

    The only other POSSIBLE symptoms that I have been having are as follows;

Heavy/Achy Breasts (Possibly normal around this time)

Food Cravings (For whatever reason, I've made grilled cheese with a side of cottage cheese at least 4 times in the last week)

    Cramping

    High Mood Swings

    Increased Discharge

I was pregnant once about 4 years ago and had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. The positive result came 4 days after I missed my period.

What are your thoughts on this situation? Im never THIS late. I dont have any more added stress than usual.

  • Red Dust In My Apartment?

So I live in a two story building that was built in 1900. It's a brick building in the historical district of town. I actually live above a shop (which I learned that in the original days was the upper house of the original family/shop owners). This building is completely original inside. I was wondering.....

There is a fine red dust that collects on the vent grates in the apartment. It also collects on upper walls, doors, curtains etc.....

It IS coming out of the vent. The furnace is old school and is a Mueller Climatrol (1947). I hate the way it makes things look stained until I wipe everything down each week. It's a real pain in the bathroom too! I the landlord had drop ceilings and tile ceilings placed and they are getting dirty too.

Could the dust be from the furnace and vents or is it from the red brick on the outside? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

  • Looking For Narratives About Cryptosporidium?

I am writing a easy paraphrasing paper for one of my college courses. I am finding it difficult to find any personal stories about Cryptosporidium in humans or animals. There is plenty of factual information out there. Can any one suggest how I should go about searching for stories to paraphrase?

  • Need Help Writing A Resume: Applying For A Job At A Vet Office?

Quick background: I am 22 and I was the manager for a local humane society for two years. I got to know the vets around town VERY well during that time. My favorite vet office to work with put an ad in the paper that they are seeking a groomer/vet assistant. I am currently in school for Veterinary Technology, with only a year to go. This office knows me well and knows me by name. The last time I was in there with my dog they practically begged me to come apply after school. I need to make a resume to hand deliver tomorrow morning.

Any tips or suggestions on the best style or format? Also, should I have a cover letter? I want this job more than anything and I NEED it too! Plus it would look great on a future application if I ever move to a bigger city. Please and thanks :)

  • Questions About Mourning Doves?

Long story short... I discovered a BIRD in my windowsill yesterday night. I saw it when I decided to open a window at night since the weather has been so nice. Well, I yelled because it scared me when I opened the window. I quickly shut the window. Amazingly the bird just looked at me like I was stupid. It did not budge an inch when I opened or shut the window.

This morning, I kept an eye on the bird and did not bother it. When he/she left this morning, I peered down the window to see a baby bird and broken egg :( !

So, I decided to try and find out what kind of bird this was - and it is a Mourning Dove. This explains the strange bird call I have been hearing!

I have been looking through photos and this baby is a Squab. Not sure how old it is but its progress looks to be that of a Sqab. So, my boyfriend has been keeping an eye on the bird and baby to make sure that the parents are switching and keep coming back.

I am concerned though.... I have been home from work since about 9:30 PM and its been about 2 1/2 hours with the baby left alone that I know of. Is this normal??! I know that they must leave to find food, but I'm worried that they may have decided to leave because of yesterday evening. But they mother/father left this morning and switched with the mate. Then the mate took of around Noon today. Not sure if either have been back since.

****** Side Note: The baby didnt fall from the nest. The nest is IN THE window itself. It live on the second story of my apartment building. No creature but a bird could possibly reach my window lol.

  • Questions about an ear infection?

So a brief background.... As a child I had MANY ear infections and developed some scarring. I did eventually have tubes placed in my ears at the age of 4. Fast forward, and I am 22 now and haven't had an another ear infection until this year.

Back in February of this year I saw my family doctor for an ear infection. She prescribed Bactrim (As I am allergic to Ceclor, Clindamycin, Codeine and Zithromax). My infection seemed to go away. Well, in April I had another infection (maybe I hadn't recovered 100% from the first one?). So She prescribed Amoxi-Clav. I finished the medication about two weeks ago. I just saw my doctor again this week and she has referred me to an ear specialist.

I could not schedule to see the specialist until June 21st!!! My doctor said that my ear drum is red and inflammed, has a possible perforation, fluid, and scarring. She said my ear bones are promanent and that part of my ear drum is sucked into my ear. I am also snoring ALOT (I never used to) and have sinus swelling and drainage- almost like a sinus infection.

So I am wondering as to what the specialist my do for my ear?

    My medical report says:

Conductive hearing loss due to middle ear disorder, L Otitis Media, Otalgia, Chronic middle ear effusion and tympanic membrane scarring, rhinorrea, tinnitus, vertigo, facial pain, and sinus pressure in both cheeks - NO drainage or fever.

Please and thanks in advance! :D

  • How can I help my dog stop using puppy pads?

I adopted a male Dachshund from my local shelter. Ive had him for about 6 months now and he is a little over a year old. When I adopted him the shelter told me that the previous owner had trained him to use puppy pads. I thought this would be great as I can be gone for more than 4 hours a day. They worked great. I live in a large apartment and the kitchen is tiled. That is where I set up his puppy pads. I also use a baby gate so that he does not have access to the rest of the house when I am gone. He has used the puppy pads since I got him, up until about a week ago. Before, even when I was home and he had free roam of the house, he would just go to his puppy pad to potty. When I am home we do go on walks and he goes to the park across the street to play and potty as well. But now he has decided that he can use the carpet to potty on as well!!! This is very bad considering I rent. I have shampooed the carpets all over the apartment. I am now regretting continuing the use of the puppy pads. What are my options here? Should I start crate training him instead- and try to take him outside to potty all the time from now on? As I said before I can be gone for several hours. Please help- thanks.

  • Why did I start my period a week early?

I started my period Wednesday.. exactly one week early. I am on birth control and take it religiously every day at 8:00 am when I get up. Its not a full blown period either. I started to bleed on Wednesday, however, it stopped in the middle of the night and started up again today, slightly more heavy, but still light. And now has stopped or lessened quite a bit. I am not trying to be gross here but the blood is darker in color, almost like when you are coming off of your period. I have not seen any mucus or clotting. No smells or anything. This is absolutely not the norm. I am wondering what could be triggers for starting early????

  • Is there any one out there who works for a Humane Society or Shelter?

Long story short. I am 21 years old and I am the manager of a small shelter in north western Ohio. We have 4 employees and 140 animals. We had 744 animals enter the shelter in 2010. 538 of them adopted. 6 Euth for medical/behavior. And the rest were still up for adoption. We are a very hard working group.

I first applied to just be a worker and cleaner at the shelter two years ago. I knew nothing about the shelter life and was interested in becoming a Vet Tech when I started. I wanted to gain some experience before school. Some how, through 10 other employees being hired and quitting , I became the shelters manager.

I LOVE MY JOB. We deal with animal cruelty, people tying animals to the front door, angry people (you know what I am talking about). I work 6-6 7 days a week and am lucky to get 2 sundays off a month. Mind you, in between, i volunteer more hours than anyone. I have been working like this for a year and a half. My boyfriend and I work opposite shifts and see each other 1 hour a day. Our director is a very old woman who will not listen reason with anything.

What I am getting at here... I am burnt out. I cant get any days off. No vacation- nothing. I love my job but i think it is time that i step away from this particular shelter and start my schooling. I want to present this idea to my director without ticking her and the rest of the staff off. I want to go to school so that i can help MORE animals in a different way. I have learned lifetimes of information with being at the shelter. Am I wrong for feeling this way? I feel like i would be abandoning the animals and my co-workers. I feel so guilty- but I think i have had all the mental stress i can take. Can some one please offer some advice?

  • How to deal with a bad employee?

I work for a Humane Society and we have recently hired a person to take care of our larger dogs in another building. We have had so many problems with this person. Basically, she has a "take-over" attitude, doesn't listen to reason or people who have more experience than her, and has caused much heart ache for employees and superiors.

She started out as a volunteer and we thought she would be a great pick for the job since she already worked with our large dogs. However, she has never worked for an animal welfare organization and is a retired nurse. The director has come to myself and another long term employee and asked us to bite our tongues as much as possible- as she feels that if this new employee is angered in anyway- she could become dangerous. Verbally speaking...

She has called the health department (from the shelter phone) and accused the shelter of harboring rabid animals. Of course a health agent responded and determined that no animal had rabies. She complains that all other employees are ignorant and have no knowledge of animals, that she knows all.

She makes her own hours - comes and goes as she pleases. She takes dogs home and brings them back with false assessments. For example... saying This dog needs socialization... however, this dog is as friendly as could be toward everyone. This woman is older- 50's. She takes all of her information from the internet or animal planet. She doesn't understand protocol and refuses to follow it. She is disrespectful in every aspect.

The director is begging for any ideas on how to get rid of her but at the same time- let her go peacefully into the night. This woman has even showed up at the directors house and yelled obscene things. Please note, we have taken all of her suggestions and ideas into consideration. Some are great suggestions but impossible to do in our environment. She has tried to speak as a representative for the shelter, to other organizations, when she is clearly not authorized and has been told so.

She wants us to hire a dog trainer, and for the dogs to all sit before letting them out of cages, impossible to do with 2 full time employees and 100 animals. We expressed that it is a nice thought and when we have the time, we should make the dogs sit. However, it is more important for them to get outside for their kennels to be cleaned so that they may eat, than it is for them to sit.

We have a litter of new born pups. She screamed at us at the meeting that we need to socialize them and what are we doing.... the pups are two days old, dear. She is so concerned that the pups are going to develop anger, not be potty trained, and be vicious! Their care taker is a retired show dog breeder with 40+ years of experience. We cannot handle these pups constantly- our main concern is speaking illness. That is why no one may touch them but the care taker until they have their vaccines.

    Please help with any suggestions!!!!
