I am attempting to install a US Robotics modem. It plugs into the network socket via a Cat 5 cable. Next step is to type 192.168.2.1 and then set up the modem - no joy, as all I get is problem loading page.
Modem is ok, have tested it and successfully set it up on another machine.
Looking in network settings or device manager, I can only find a USB ADSL WAN Adaptor. This is my existing modem.
How do I create a new connection. The wizards are useless, as the ADSL WAN is the only option available.

If this disapers, then it is part of a deliberate policy to prevent reasoned debate about a serious subject. I have lived in the north of England and have seen this process occur in the last 30 years. Many of my friends were or are of asian origin, but why has this situation been allowed to arise?

I want to paint a set of GRP garage doors. Obvoiously they will need rubbing down and preparing as normal, but do I need to use undercoat, or just a top coat of gloss?
I don't want to get it wrong and have the paint discolour or peel off next winter, so advice please.

I just caught the last 30 secs. Looked like 3 blokes withh a couple of girls dancing around on the gantry above them.
The presenters didn't name them, and they are not listed on the ITV Website. Can you satisfy my curiousity?

I have windows firewall, Yahoo pop up blocker on. This stops many, but some, such as system doctor, get through. I'm fed up being told my computers has errors, adult files, etc on it, cos it hasn't. I have done virus and spyware scans - all clean.
Seems like a modern day money wth menaces, pay us and we might go away.
