My wife and daughters outlawed white sugar at home. I used it mainly when preparing the liquid for a hummingbird feeder. I won't use artificial sugar for the birds, but how is brown sugar for hummingbirds?

I am from the US, but I don't live there. Years ago when I drank soda I liked root beer, and I didn't like Dr. Pepper. People here that have visited the US have told me that they couldn't tell the difference and what, if any, is the difference between root beer and Dr. Pepper?

We used to have just one canary, a male who sang very well. We received a pretty female canary as a gift and put it in the cage with the male. The male stopped singing so often. She started making a nest and depositing eggs. After about five or six weeks she pushed the eggs out of the nest as well as all the newspaper she shredded. After the third batch of eggs she started loosing the feathers on her head. THe eggs have never hatched, but she sat on them and the male brought her food.

They are seperated again, but her feathers are still dropping and she does look funny being mostly bald down to the start of her neck.

What can we do?

My grandmother used to prepare fried mush. She said her mother made large amounts of mush when she was a girl because all the family liked fried mush. We were talking about food we had eaten long ago, and no one knows how to make it.

There's a name for that part of our hands, and for the bottom of our feet. Is it fair?

I've been trying to throw one away for several weeks and the garbage pick up people just take the stuff inside and leave the garbage can.
