I find that my son can get “fixated” on things to the extent that it becomes the ctr of his universe to the exclusion of everything else. If for ex, he decides he wants a particular toy, he will hound me relentlessly, day and night. Whatever I say, will not stop the relentless asking.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that he can continually ask/hound me for something literally 4 hrs & even days.

4 ex If I give in and say, “OK you can get it.” The next round of non-stop asking will be “When?” If I say, “Next week.” It will be “y?” & so on, & so on….. for hrs & days. This constant barrage of begging is very psychologically wearing and tiring on me. @ times, I’ve given in just 2 make it stop. I know things cant go on like this because I simply cant give him everythin he wants just 2 have some peace and quiet. There have been times when Ive found myself givin in & buyin things we cant even afford just to “buy” some peace and quiet.

There is no reasoning with him as he shows no learning curve as far as future events are concerned. Case in point; if I say “OK, I will be you this toy now but you can’t ask for another one 4 @ least another month”. He will agree @ that moment, but the cycle repeats itself even though I remind him of what he had agreed to.

I bought a new car last thursday, on friday the dealer went to the mto to transfer my plates. I get a call at 330 telling me the cant transfer as my plates are cancelled! I was in shock. I called the ministry they said i came in 2 a location on may 31st and requested they be cancelled, i did no such thing! The ministry it was cancelled at was an hour from where i live. I left work immediately and demanded i see id that was presented and a signature and they said i have to fax up to the special enquiry unit 2 request that. Mean while they said i have a credit of 90 4 the remainder of the sticker. The dealer had to purchase new plates 4 me and a bew sticker the crazy thing is the ministry did not apply the credit that was there. They wont issue a refund yet and i had to pay an extra 57 4 new plates. I called a police station 2 ask had i have gotten pulled over what would have happened, they said my car would have been impounded and i would have had to appear in court. My ? Is, how can this happen? If it was a clerical error whos responsible? I drove with cancelled plates 4 over a month! I want 2 hold them responsible what can be done?

That was a thurs, she said she will let me know early the next week.that mon she called my references but Didnt hear from her so i emailed her on thurs that week. Her response i spoke with the owner he asked you come meet the lady that is retiring and if all goes well we r looking at a start date 4 the end of oct The start date upset me but i agreed. I met the lady its been a week now so i emailed her and asked if they have made a decision. Her response the owner is back and he would like you 2 come in and meet him again. I met with him 2day & he asks 4 another reference & wants 2 call ones they checked already! Is he stringing me along?

We are going on a 6 day trip with my 9 year old son. Whenever we go away i usually allow him 2 bring a friend and always cover their expenses. He told me which 1 he wanted 2 bring so i reached out 2 his mom by txt. Her response was if he is good he could come. 1 day later she sends me a msg he can come. I said b4 i finalize can u send him with pocket money around $100 2 cover all the small things he always asks 4. I said, i will obviously pay 4 all his food & outings as i have b4 ( we always take him out and she never sends him with $ i didnt send this part in the txt) but just 4 him 2 have. Its sun now and i havent gotten a response since tues. I decided 2day 2 allow my son 2 invite a different friend as i am not chasing her down if she chose not 2 let me know. Question, if she gets back 2 me now is it rude 2 tell her i gave her time & since i didnt hear from her we invited some1 else(

I went in for a job interview for a front desk position. While there the interviewer (boss) said i notice on ir resume u have a travel diploma. We may have a position opening in that field shortly so if u dont get this job we will call u 4 the other 1. 1 week later she reached out 2 me and said the position is open would u like it. After further consideration and not knowing the details 2 much i asked if i can come in on my own time just to see what the job intailed. I did so last week. After further conversations with her i explained that in order 4 me 2 take the job i couldnt work til 530 (im a single mom and always have 2 be home by 530) 5 would be the latest and if she could accomodate that i am interested in the job. She agreed and had a intent 4 a job offer drawn up with all the details. I gave my 2 weeks notice to my employer. Today was my first day, the boss was out of town, her assistant called me in after lunch and said u r not the right fit for this position and with the hours u want to work we just cant do it! Is this legal? They agreed b4 i gave my notice and now im out of a job. Shouldnt the fit have been determined during the interview? If not how can 4 hours determine anything?

I have been at my job just under a year i do admin work. I work for a family business mother father and their son works there. One of my bosses the father who owns the business is very disrespectful, now hes nice when he wants to be but always has a way of making ppl feel like ****. He does not listen even when hes wrong. Here is the most recent thing that happened that is just eating away at me. He asked to find a certain nail that we need for manyfacturing products i tool a pic of it and started calling around to nuts and bolt store i found 1 sent the pic to them and then they responded with a sheet of different sizes to choose from. I printed the page gave it 2 my boss who then went 2 the guy who needed it and circled the size and i went ahead and ordered it. The next day i picked it up brought it back and was told these are wrong we cant use them send it back and get the right ones. Last friday my boss was out for the day he called and asked if i located the rigt ones i told him i called them resent the pic and now they sent a new page with the nails u want and i just have 2 confirm the size. I printed it went directly 2 the guy who needed it and he circled the size and gave it back 2 my coworkwr 2 give 2 me since i was at lunch. I came back and irdered it. 2day it was picked up brougt back and he scolded me very angry that it wasnt right. I explained that i gave the sheet 2 the person and thats what he gave back he told me thay wasnt true and that he in fact gave me the sheet and it looked nothing like the 2nd sheet. I explained that was because u were off on friday and this happened on that day since u called and made it clear u needed it done. I even tried to show him the email of the store sending it to me which was dated friday. He wouldnt look nor listen just embarrassed me spoke down 2 me in front of everyone. This isnt the 1st time he has done things like his 2 me hes quick 2 freak out but never gives me a chance 2 explain that it is in fact him that is wrong. I cant take it anymore

I have never had a loving relationship with my mother. She has never been affectionate since i can remember. I love her cuz shes my mom but she has some evil in her. She has told me on many occasions that she hated me since birth but bcuz i have heard it so much im used to it. The problem is that now she does it to my 7 year old son. He loves going to see her when shes nice shes nice but she got angry with me today and she turned to mu son and told him not to call her anymore bcuz she hates me. Of course that made him cry he doesnt understand but this isnt the first time she has done this. She always takes out all her anger from me on him. A few months ago when she did that to him we stopped calling her and when we did speak with her again she told me that it is discusting that her grandchild never called her to say hi. My response was i dont understand u told him u didnt want to speak to him and now ur blaming us all ober again. Then she turns it around again and says ur putting words in my mouth and dont call her and hangs up on me. I dont understand her she can be so confusing to me and especially my son. Can someone tell me if there is a special way to deal with this besides cutting her out.

Ok this is crazy. My sons father who I am not in a relationship with has made me feel like ****. First off he is 40 lives at home with his parents. I know I shouldn't have but I have been paying his phone bill and plenty more. He always tells me that just bcuz I pay I shouldn't expect him to answer all my calls or return them. I have been paying a legal bill for him over $5000 and just over the last week or so when my son was off school for the holidays I still had to work and I really thought his dad would watch him since if I don't work I will fall behind in his payments and it wouldn't be paid on time. He spoke down to me and said that I shouldn't expect him to do anything and I should have a babysitter lined up (I'm suppose to pay for 1) and don't rely on him. The prob is if I have to pay a babysitter I'm never going to be able to fulfill the legal fees when I explain that he screams at me and makes it seem likes it's my problem not his. Fast forward a few days ago my sons game for his xbox broke I asked my child's father if my son can borrows his (since I bought his game too) and he said NO! He said when he's done playing it he can borrow it. Obviously I can't go out and buy a new one since all my money is going to pay off his bill. On fir evening I went over to his house he wasn't home so I took the game so my child could at least play it over the weekend. When my sins dad came home and found out he called me and freaked out saying I have no respect for him and why should he do anything for me when I took from him. When I told him that I couldn't buy a new one since I was paying his legal fees he said that's not his problem I shouldn't just take his stuff! Would u have done the same thing? Or was I wrong?

I just joined the gyk and have been on a diet about 1200 cals a day. I am tryin to lose 45 pounds. I have been on the treadmill for about 25 min each time at a speed of 3.9 i am also a beginner at the gym. I need to know what to do on the machines both cardio and weights to lose weight. Looking for specifics with speeds and weights.

I got hired at a company doing csr. My job is sales based. I get an hourly Plus commission. When I started my commission was 10% for the first 3 months my customer comes back and then 5% after 3 month til one year. I have been there for 10 months. After my first large sale my boss said instead if it being 10% on the amount of the sale it will be off the the amount thw company profits on ince all fees for the sale is paid. I didn't think that was right since he said that after I got the sale but I was new at the job so I didn't complain. Lately the company is in a financial mess and to make a long story short he's not paying me my commission he feels its up to his discretion as ro whether or not he will pay me. I emailed him on friday and asked him If he can tell me when I can get it and gis response was. "Commissions are paid at my discretion even though they are owed he doesn't have to pay. I made these sales & now I can't get it. He basically wants new sales from me 2 pay on old ones

My 6 and a 1/2 year old boy wets his bed almost daily. It's been going on for almost 2 year now since he started junior kindergarten. He is not bothered by it and sleeps right thru it. It is soon frustrating I find myself doing laundry with bed sheets daily. I started to realize that he will pee almost right before he gets up in the morning I can tell by how moist his pjs are and his bedsheets are. I can't take it anymore I find myself screaming at him and i get so angry about it. What do I do? My friends say I need to get up at night and take him to the bathroom which I have done for over a month but it's not clicking to him to get up on his own and go himself.

I really need advice. I am not Im a relationship with my sons father but we have and do hang out a lot up until recently. He will be 40 the end of this month and doesn't work and lives at home with his parents. I did file a claim for child support which of course I was granted and he never paid a cent into it, so after years of being behind and thousands of dollars owing his drivers license and passport was suspended and he blamed me. He made me believe that if it wasn't because of me taking him to court this would have never happened and he made me feel so guilty that I dropped the support order and got rid of all the outstanding balance. Apparently that wasn't good enough for him he doesn't appreciate that he still tells me it was my fault to begin with. I have always helped him out with things that he needed and in the process I have to hear him out me down scream at me and make me feel like ****. Fast forward he's not a criminal or anything but he landed himself in a situation where he needed a lawyer for driving under suspension I ended up paying for it and the whole time he was going thru it he was rude and mean to me, and when I would say things like u don't appreciate anything I do he says wtf do u want me to do kiss ur *** cuz if that's the case it's not gonna happen I said thank u once I don't owe u anymore. I guess what I'm asking is, am I overreacting I feel like he's ungrateful and unappreciative of my help I'm not asking for him to kiss my *** but I don't think making me feel horrible during the process is acceptable either. Am I wrong?

This is a bit bizare. I work for a very small company 3 people in total including myself. My manager has been hitting on me for about a year now making it very difficult for me to even come into work. anyways i got my friend a job there about 7 months ago she is an older lady and has helped me out a lot finacially and emotionally. now heres my problem, she has betrayed me ever since she started working there. whenever i would tell her the harassment i would endure from our manager she would go right back and tell him, she has spoken about myself to him and he always comes back and tells me. i have spoken about this to her before and she knew i was upset with her but she continued to do it. i then found out that she was having sexual relations with him in the office when i wasnt there, not like i care but i feel like she was becoming attached to him and was hoping he would pay more attention to her and not me i also feel like she didnt want me to work there anymore and i got her the job. now yesterday i tried to confide in her again and she blurted everything to him again and it makes me feel uncomfortable going to work to face him so i lost it and told her that i no longer wanted to work with her as she has betrayed me and i dont trust her so she quit. should i feel bad since she has helped me out financially or am i right in thinking that no amount of money gives her a right to do this to me

I live alone with my four year old son in a 1 bedroom plus den. My rent is 929.00 My friend needs a place to stay for 1 month. I have no problem letting her stay here, but heres my question. She has 4 kids and a boyfriend. the ages are 10,8,5, and 3 months, and 3 little dogs. I know its going to be really tight but i also know its only for 1 month. Heres how i thought about splitting the rent. take 929 and divide it by myself and my son, her and her boyfriend, and her kids minus the infant and dogs. so her portion would be around 663 and mine would be 265. I know she wont be getting a room but they would be occupying my whole living room and i also have to share the bathroom. Just looking for some advice before i bring it to her attention

my four year old son has been in daycare for almost 2 year now. I remember when i first put him in he would cry every day for almost a year. My problem now is, he is extremely anti social with kids only, he is a talker with adults.He has known the kids in his class long enough to be able to be comfortable with them, but for some reason he cant approach them to play, and when they do come to him to play, and then go somewhere else he says and feels that they dont like him. He is extremely clingy with me, and keeps asking me if i like him... I dont know why he feels this way since i always tell him i love him daily. When he is around more than one child at a time he feels uncomforatable to play with them so he backs away, but if its only one he will engage in play. I took him to the beach a few times this summer with me and my friends and their kids, he is very familiar with all of them and likes the kids (only one at a time) but he wouldnt leave my side to go run around and play, no matter how much these kids asked him to come he just stays right at my side and asks if i like him. please help, he is starting kindergarden soon and i dont want him to be miserable.

I leased a car in 2003 from a rent to own company. The lease ended in 2005. The company just up and disappeared. I tried everything for the passed 5 years to contact them. I checked to see if they went bankrupt, I got a letter from the new company that is operating from their old address that they have no connections with this company, and that they are not responsible for their vehicles. The problem is that i didnt pay the whole thing off, and the car still registers back to them as the owner. The mto will not give me ownership. I even checked today to see if there was a lien on the vehicle, and there is not. the car is 11 years old, and i dont want to keep it , but i cant do anything with it since its not under my name. What can i do?

I'm 33, and i have never heard from my mother that she loves me. I think it would make me feel uncomfortable to hear it now anyways. She always told me she would make my life miserable, and she has. When she gets mad at me, she wont talk to my 2 year old son. She wont talk to anyone that sticks up for me. She gets mad at everything all the time. The other night i had an argument with my father, it was so stupid, all i said is that my son coulndnt have juice at 930 at night, and my mom got so mad that i said that to my dad that she kicked me out. I tried to call her to understand why she was so angry at me, and she said i was a piece of ****, and that she hated me. Im used to that tho, i have heard it all my life. My brother killed himself 8 months ago, he was so sad, and so angry at my mom for the way she treated us when we were younger. still til this day, even after him being dead, she doesnt let him R.I.P. she keeps saying that hes in hell, and hes a fool for what he did, but just the other day she told me to go kill myself, and that its easier to bury a child the 2nd time around. With all this said, she helps me financially monthly. She knows i need it, so she knows ill keep coming back and begging for her apology, she loves it. She has told me that my dad hates me. Even tho they live together i havent spoken to him in years, cuz she brain washed me against him, and god knows what she told him about me. Im so hurt, all i want to do is get along with her.
