My boyfriend isn't physically attracted to me?
I've been seeing him for a while now and he wants to be exclusive but to see where things go. We've spoken about types etc and he likes a blonde girl with a nice behind and I'm brunette big up front and curvy. There was a question that came up on a tv program about rating your partner physically and I asked and he refused to answer so I said I'd give him an 8.5 and he was shocked it was so high and still wouldn't really give me a number.. I just feel like I'm a lot more attracted to him physically because he never compliments my looks or anything and the sex is great but I feel like that's just because the act is good rather than him wanting me besides that.. I don't know what to do and whether it's me being unconfident or if it will never work because of this.
6 AnswersSingles & Dating3 years agoDriver moves into junction and into me, who's at fault?
I was on a single road which then changes into 2 and has a junction on the left which you pull into to turn left (like the ones off a motorway). The driver in front was doing around 40mph on a 60. I indicated and moved into the slip road and sped up a little so was doing around 50/55mph in the slip road (it's quite a long one and the turning isn't sharp so you can go into it safely at 40mph ish). As I was driving at a faster speed I then was alongside the car that was previously in front of me. He then decided to merge into the slip road at that point without indicating until he was in it (around half way down the slip road) and nearly went into the side of me and would've if I hadn't of breaked. If he had of hit me, who would've been at fault?
1 AnswerSafety5 years agoNeed help with a guy, he doesn t want to kiss me after our 4th date?
We've met up 4 times now, the first time I was a little tipsy and we kissed a few times that was it.. The other times he won't go near me. He says he's not a physical guy and likes his space and that he was with someone for 8 years before and walked in in her cheating so has trust issues. He wants to give it time to trust me but I feel uncomfortable on our dates because it just seems like he's not interested even though he says he is? And I don't know how to get him to trust me in order to be physical.. I don't need s*x but when I'm dating someone I stick to one person whereas he's meeting multiple women so need some sort of intimacy from somewhere and I would like it from him!
3 AnswersSingles & Dating5 years agohow can he prove he's broken up with his ex?
Basically, my ex and I broke up and last night decided to get back together. In the weeks we were apart he started dating someone new. Hes promised he is going to see her tonight and leave her but how can he prove he did? I don't trust him 100% because of how we split but he and I are going to work slowly on rebuilding the trust. How can I know for certain he's told her he's getting back with his ex?
2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agohow to give ex an ultimatum?
He dumped me saying he wasnt happy anymore and started dating this girl a few days later. She's a Virgin and I saw him yesterday and he said that she said she wouldn't be ready for sex for a year and a half. Eventually, this led to him and I having sex, so he cheated on his gf. He said he misses me and thinks about me and wouldn't say if he had feelings for me or not. I'm seeing him Friday so am going to give him an ultimatum, her or me. I'm going to say either he and I rebuild our relationship together slowly and be exclusive with proof hes left her or I'm gone for good and I'm going to tell her he cheated. Is this the right thing to do or will he feel pressured and say her? I don't want to be used and I still love him.
3 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoNeed wedding advice desperately!?
I want to have an intimate wedding ceremony (not too small, cousins will be there as well) but a very large reception for at least 100, if not more. I'm wondering, do I feed the ceremony guests straight after the ceremony in my reception venue and do the speeches etc and then later on in the evening when reception guests turn up, feed them too with a hog roast or something? It will be a free bar and I worry people will get stupidly drunk without some food or they will be grumpy as they're hungry.. My ceremony guests will have a proper, three course meal whilst the reception guests only have the hog roast, no desserts. Is this okay?
Btw, food is very important as I'm from a farming and catering background so good food is a top priority in this family!
8 AnswersEngagements & Weddings7 years agoRedoing year 12, do I have to redo coursework too?
Dropped out of year 12 in a new sixth form after 3 months as I became ill, however in this time I completed English lit coursework and the music tech Btech. Will they make me redo this coursework, or will they say I have to keep what I've done? I don't really want to learn stuff I don't need to know again if I've done the work for it.. I do want to improve it though. Can I just have it back, improve it and then submit it?
1 AnswerPrimary & Secondary Education7 years agoAm I in love or just want to be? Please helpp?
I been with guys in the past, thought I've loved them and turns out I really didn't, just want to see what you guys think that's all. Met him online, spoken for months and I spent nearly a week at his house and just came home today.
I was totally open and had no fears/didn't hold anything back with him - we had sex and cuddled and kissed absolutely loads.
He says he loves me and I say it back (we both know there's a huge difference to loving someone and being IN love with someone)
When I left I had to rush to get my train (we live about 3 hours from each other) and so couldn't say good bye properly, but then when I had been home about 2 hours, it suddenly hit me we aren't together and I started crying. He messaged saying he was a little teary before he went to bed as we slept in the same bed together.
I can't go a day without thinking about him, we talk every day. I just never felt really nervous or butterflies seeing him or anything, it keeps crossing my mind that maybe I see him as a best friend rather than a boyfriend.. he's not my usual type, I wouldn't really pick him out on the street but he started talking to me and I replied being nice and we just seemed to click. I didn't notice any flaws on him which I tend to on people, only had one little tiff when he was messaging another girl but didn't really feel jealous more unspecial, I really wish he lived closer to me but I never dressed up or made a real effort (no makeup etc or effort to look amazing for him).
2 AnswersSingles & Dating7 years agoNeed legal advice, signed a contract, am I bound by it now?
I started a new job recently as a waitress. I am 17 and told I get 20 minutes every 6 hours of work as rest. This is what I currently get. However, just looking online and found this - 'Workers between the ages of 15 and 18 are entitled to marginally longer rest breaks in the working day – 30 minutes in every period exceeding 4.5 hours.' in comparison to an adult who gets 20 minutes every 6 hours.
I am unsure whether my breaks are written into the contract (I assume they are) and so now I have 2 questions:
- Is the 30 minutes every 4.5 hours a LEGAL requirement? If so, they have essentially given me an illegal contract to sign..
- If it isn't, can I bring this up with management and ask for this time or will they turn around and say I have signed the contract stating I was happy with what was offered so they don't have to change anything now?
I get minimum wage and they aren't great employers so anything I can get from this I will take. Also, it was never made clear I am allowed up to 30 minutes every 4.5 hours which I assume they should have made clear...? Thanks.
Also, another thing I saw was 'can't normally work 8 hours a day or 40 hours a week' at this age. I work split shifts sometimes (11-3, 6-close) which could mean anything from 8 hours to 10 hours. Is it illegal for me to work more than 8 hours?
7 AnswersLaw & Legal7 years agoplease help, spill on laptop what to do!?
I spilt chamomile tea on the laptop (around 300ml) mainly on
the keyboard.
I turned it off, pulled the power plug and wiped off any on
the keyboard top. I then flipped it upside down (tent style)
and left for 4 hours. I also took the battery out.
At 5am when I tried it, the laptop kept turning itself off so
Ieft it upside down again off and unplugged.
Now today I have put it into a drawer with rice at the
bottom. I have put a bin bag around it and tied that up as
tight as I can.
Will this work in drying it out? Its my mum's work laptop so
is needed and I don't have the money for a repair man or a
new one.
Anything else I can do and how long should I leave it
there? also I have a hair dryer with a cold setting if that's useful?

3 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks7 years agoDo I tell the guy he knows me from before or not on a dating website..? please give me some advice!?
On a dating/meet New people site, a guy has messaged me saying I'm gorgeous etc. He's 4 years older than me. He clearly doesn't rememer me but we know each other! I went to primary with him and his sister and I were relatively good friends in the way that I've been over hers the odd time. Do I tell him this? Or do I leave it. He's really.good looking and nice and.I don't want to ruin it by saying who I am and him think its weird.. btw,my full.name isn't on there so I see why he doesn't recognise me but he would know the name as he was friends with my older brother. Thanks!
2 AnswersSingles & Dating7 years agoshaving down there, do you shave anus too?
I'm a woman, always been uncomfortable but finally with someone I trust and want them to go down which will be the first time for me. I want to shave the bikini line and all below but not the anus as that growing back would be awful!! Is that weird, will it look odd? The hair is dark and will be trimmed but will it look odd like hair, no hair then hair again? Thanks
5 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style7 years agopoll: women shaving down there, a must?
Basically, what do guys want and what do they prefer?
Women, do you shave completely, landing strip etc? Also, do you shave between your legs on there and leave the anus with trimmed hair?
4 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style7 years agoBakery interview help needed!?
I applied online to a bakery that calls themselves a bread factory as they do not have a shop so I would never be in contact with customers. They make bread for top restaurants and delcatessens.
1) what should I wear? I have an interview outfit of a black skirt, black tights, flat black pumps, light pink floral top tucked in, a black blazer and grey and black scarf. Is that okay or too over dressed? i could also wear a pink and white striped shirt tucked in and lose the scarf and blazer?
2) They emailed saying 'It will only be a quick chat of around 15- 20 minutes.'.. does this mean they will ask the same interview questions as normal (what's your biggest weakness, name a time etc) or just ask about me about any home baking I do and why I want to work there?
3) I do literally no bread making ever.. I think I've made bread in a bread maker twice (I am 17). I went for this job as it's close to me and I am fit to do the hard shifts they state. I also enjoy hard work. I read online some like people without experience so they don't have bad habits etc. but I don't have professional experience nor know anything about bread!? Should I research their bread, i.e. fermenting and different types/shapes or be straight up and say I literally do no baking.. I do regular cooking but never bake bread. I feel like they will never give me the job if I say I don;t bake bread at home.. I also have never stated in my CV/cover letter anything about cooking only waitressing so they can't expect much right?
4) what qualities do they look for in a baker? I have remembered the ones they put on the advert - have lots of energy, reliable, thinks on their feet, good with hands, gets pumped to do stuff every day and never wants to let a customer down. What else can I say?
Thank you. This chat is tomorrow afternoon so any help would be appreciated.
2 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment7 years agoAm I a sociopath?
I just answered someone else's question asking if they are a psychopath and it got me thinking. I look up and found a website - 10 signs for spotting a sociopath and just want to discuss how I link to it and whether anyone out there think I may be a sociopath.
1) They are charming. I used to be incredibly charming, I had a large group of friends, I was 'in charge', I could get boyfriends easily, still can actually not hard, I can easily fit my personality to those around me. The reason I used past tense is that I lost all control when I was seperated from everyone and feel like because I wasn't in control, I pretty much went doolalley.
2) They are spotaneous or intense. I have always enjoyed anything risky, I always wanted to see how far I could push anything and how far I could push people. I wouldn't describe myself as nessacarily spontaneous, I never walk down the street and suddenly decide I want to go jump off a cliff but I would definitely descirbe myself as intense. I can come across intense to people as I feel as if I am trying to manipulate them, I try very hard to make men fall in love with me just so I can hurt them.
3) Incapable of feeling shame, guilt or remorse. This one stumps me. I feel shame when I do something I don't feel I should have, for example, if I fell in the street I would be embarassed. However, I have often stolen from family, left in the middle of the night and returned the next day to my parents worried, hurt people physically and emotionally and not felt anything. I am worried about being caught out but never guilty for what I have done.
4) They make up lies. I do this constantly. Whether its a tiny lie or a huge one, I find myself lying to pretty much everyone about pretty much anything. Whether its a death in my family I've made up or my cat hit me to woke me up. Literally, anything. I don't even know why I lied sometimes.
5) Seek to dominate and win. Even if I am wrong I will fight my case to the death. I love control, I love being in control of others and their lives, I hate losing.
6) Highly intelligent. I have always been told I am intelligent, not much I can say here.
7) Speak poetically. I don't think I do. I've never been one for public speaking or really felt as if what I am saying encaptures people. I feel as if I write well but I suppose that is different.
8) Incapable of love. i question this too. I do love my family, I would die for them. I am a very loyal person.
9) Never apologise. I dont feel as if I have ever apologised and meant it.
10) They are delusional and believe what they say is true. This is where I really question myself. If this is correct, then can someone make themself believe they are a sociopath even though they aren't if they just have this one tendency? When I lie, I convince myself that it is true. I replay it over and over, adding little detail each time than I find myself beliveing it and telling others about it.
So Y! Answers members, do you believe I am a sociopath?
2 AnswersMental Health7 years agoGoing to a job interview I have already done?
I did a job interview for waitrose about 4/5 months ago, they didn't offer me the job (my interview went terribly tbf) and I continued to look for a job afterwards. I then applied to a second position around 2 months later and wasn't invited to be interviewed, so I figured that because my initial interview went badly they just aren't interested anymore. I then applied for a third about 2 weeks ago and I have my interview later. Do I act as if I've never been interviewed by them before? Will they even remember me? This is a great company and maybe they were impressed by the fact I kept applying, which shows that I really want to work there? Why was I rejected the second time but they want to interview me now? I am completely unsure as to how to do anything different really apart from my one bad answer.. Also, we all were given 3 questions and the interviewer asked who'd like to go first and then they answered then she asked who next and continued like that. I was last to answer as I didn't say anything, I didn't see this as a bad thing particularly because someone has to be last and I didn't want to come across as pushy but as a team player, should I offer to speak first/someone in the middle this time? Thanks. :)
3 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment7 years agoWearing black jeans to an interview, yes or no?
This is for a job in Waitrose, I'm 17 and I've done the interview before but got rejected so in terms of speaking/answering, I'm pretty comfortable with what I have to say/do this time around.
Is it ok if I wear an outfit like this? It is black jeans, a pepulum pink top with white flowers on, black pumps and a black blazer? The top half is relatively formal and I don't own proper trousers?
Its either that or a long white blousey top? Or a white and pink striped shirt? thanks:)
