  • What is the full list from VH1's 40 Greatest One-Hit Wonders of the '90s?

I missed part of the special, and I was just wondering where I could find a full list?

  • Would you rather live in the country or a big city?

Personally, I would rather live in the country--but I live in central Nebraska and have all my life. I love how quiet it is and the fact that it's just so beautiful.

    What is your opinion?

  • I'm going on a trip to Washington DC. What should I wear?

I'm going on a Close Up trip to Washington DC in about a week and a half. It's mostly casual dress, but one of the days we are going on a tour of the White House, and going to Capitol Hill. What would be appropriate dress for this?

I have a dress that I wore for a National Honor Society induction last year that I was thinking of wearing. It's white with a brown/pinkish floral print, but nothing too bright. I want to pair it with brown flats and a denim jacket, white jacket or a brown suit jacket. Would this be okay? I also have business clothes because I'm in speech.

I don't want to wear heels because we will be walking all day.

  • Can you get dizzy from eating salsa?

Yesterday I had some homemade salsa that was immensely spicy (it was also very good). Anyway, after I tried it, I got dizzy and my knees felt like they were about to buckle. I'm just wondering, but could this have been caused by the salsa?

  • Does my puppy have parvo?

He was throwing up this morning, and got diarrhea twice. My mom said the diarrhea smelled, but I'm not sure how bad. She doesn't think there was mucus in it, and I'm not sure about blood. She said he was being lazy, but with me he's being normal. He's not running around quite as much, but this is how he is before a nap. He wouldn't eat or drink very well (maybe a few sips of water, a couple bites of dry food), but I gave him some canned food (Alpo, which we just started him on yesterday), and he ate that up like there was no tomorrow.

He's a black lab puppy, about three to 3 1/2 months old. Could you guys help me out?

  • I had a dog die of parvo virus over ten years ago. Is my yard safe now?

My family got a chocolate lab puppy, and he ended up dying of parvo virus, but this was 11-12 years ago. We just got a black lab, and are planning on taking him in for vaccinations. Would you say our yard is safe now?

  • I want to get a perm. How safe is it, and what's the best way to go about it?

My hair is naturally straight/wavy, but I would like to make it curly without having to scrunch or curl it daily. Scrunching makes it end up crunchy, and it's not quite the look I'm going for, and curling takes time I don't have--plus I don't want to use too much heat on my hair. I also dye it regularly (at least 8 weeks between dyes) at home with Revlon products.

I want to get a perm, but I want to know more about them. Will they ruin my hair, and are they a good idea?

    All answers are appreciated. Thanks!

  • My brother doesn't respond to the word 'no.' What can we do?

Recently, when told no--as in "No, you can't go to your friend's house" or "No, I'm not buying you that toy today"--my younger brother has been acting differently. He just keeps asking as if we never said anything, almost like he doesn't remember being told. This goes on until he gets into trouble.

He is eight years old, and he does have ADHD. I understand that this could be simple brat-like behavior, but even so, how can this be corrected?

    Thanks in advance!

  • My dog ate half a grape. How bad is the situation?

My dog, a Boston Terrier, female, ate half a grape that fell on the floor. It was a smallish grape, and only half at that. How bad is it?

  • What do you think makes a good school lunch?

A friend and I are going to be seniors this year, meaning we get to go off-campus for lunch. But seeing as she lives out of town, and I don't drive, we decided we would just bring our lunches to school everyday and eat them there, to save money.

My question is: In your opinion, what makes a good school lunch? It's not that I don't know what to make, I just want to see what you guys think. Thanks! :)

  • Can I omit baking soda?

I'm making sugar cookies that call for both baking powder and baking soda, but I'm out of baking soda. Can I just leave it out or will it ruin the cookies?

  • What kind of frosting should I use?

For 4-H, I'm doing a decorated cake. It doesn't matter what kind of cake it is (homemade/box mix, chocolate/vanilla, etc.) as long as I decorate it creatively.

The pan I chose is a bunt pan that looks like a Christmas wreath--pine cones, holly berries, ribbon, etc. I decided I would decorated so that it would look like a wreath, and I'm going to make a Red Velvet cake so it will pop against the green of a wreath.

My question is, what is the best type of frosting to use on this? I want something spreadable, but not runny. I also would rather it not be too thick, either. Thanks in advance!

  • Where can I find a picture from the end of Prince Caspian?

For prom, I would really like to do my hair like Susan's in the end of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. I need to take a picture in so the hairdresser knows what I want. The problem is, I can't find a picture. I have the movie, but that doesn't really do me any good. Does anyone know where I could find a picture of this? Thanks!

  • In Nebraska, do you have to have your permit for 6 months before getting your license if you're already 16?

I got my learner's permit October 24. They recently changed the period time from 3 months to 6 months between permit and license, or I can drive for 50 hours with an adult. What I'm asking is, since I'm 16 (17 in May), do I have to wait the full 6 months? Or can I get it early?

  • Winter ball is tomorrow, how can I style my a-line cut?

I have an a-line cut that's almost to my shoulders, maybe a bit shorter. How can I style it? It's semi formal.

I don't want to just straighten it, because that's what I usually do. What other ways can I wear it?

  • I don't want to go to prom. Is that bad?

All my friends are talking about going to prom, and how much fun it'll be, etc. I really don't want to go. I think its a waste of money, and its just a chance for everyone to show off that they've got somebody. Anyway, my friends keep talking about it, and I told them that I don't want to go. So they yelled at me for it. Now they're offering to set up a date for me and everything, which I DON'T want. What do I do? I really don't want to go.

  • I popped my neck while sneezing. Why does it hurt so bad?

My neck usually pops throughout the day and it's no big deal. But this morning I sneezed and my neck popped on the right side. Now I can hardly look forward without pain, let alone turning my head to the right. How can I fix this?

  • I have an LG AX275. Why does the Internet keep freezing up?

Every time I try to use the Internet on my phone, it gets as far as sending, and then it completely freezes up. The only way to get back to the home screen is to take out the battery, put it back in, and turn it back on. Is there a way to fix this, or do I have to get a new phone?

  • I like this guy. How can I get him to date me?

Okay, the question's kinda misleading. I like this guy, and I know he likes me too. We've told each other this. But whenever we talk about dating he always tries to avoid it. We finally talked about it last night and he told me he's scared to because I'm older than him. I'm a junior and he's a freshman. The reason he's scared is because I graduate this year and then I go off to college. I get where he's coming from, but I don't see why that should be such a deal breaker. I haven't talked to him about it since then yet. Any suggestions?
