  • Cleaning "boy dirt" off rat?

    One of my rats is covered in orange sebaceous oils. I can't get it off of him. I've given him several baths and it won't come out. Anyone have any tips for getting this orange stain out of his fur?

    Also, anyone have any ideas as to why his cage mates are rubbing their oils on him? I don't think he is doing it himself because he is neutered.

  • African Soft Furreds and the USDA?

    I need to know if a pet store needs a USDA license to sell African Soft Furred Rats (Natal Rats). I can't find any information on the USDA website and they're not answering their phones.

    The store is located in Florida and the animals are not being imported.
