Hi guys in the fall I'm going to start looking for a show horse I've done some Research and including board I've found it cost about 1,200 roughly a month to keep a horse 775 for board 100 for vet bills (just incase) 100 farrier ( I know its not necessarily every month) and then 300 for shots in the spring in winter and then any thing i may need. Grain feed hay are all included in board. Am i missing anything huge? I ride english and am boarding at a show barn if that helps. (I have all the necessary tack already) Thanks! ( shows are going to be a separate expense)

I want a cheap toy camera but in this day and age is film really worth it? I'm in high school and don't have time or money. Are there any cheap digital cameras that are the same idea? I'm currently riding in a close contact HDR saddle its not mine i am trying it out and may potentially buy it I ride hunter jumpers. My Trainer says the saddle fits me and my horse perfectly and i trust her completely. The people selling me the saddle want to sell me a used close contact HDR at 900 with new stirrups and leathers. I also trust the people selling me the saddle as I have been going to horse shows with them for the past few weekends and have really gotten to know them but is $900 a good price? this is my first saddle so I'm kinda new and i just want your guys feedback but don't worry I'm doing other research.

I want a saddle that fits me and i can adjust to a horse

I know i need a already used saddle trainer told me

I do NOT want an all purpose saddle b/c of knee rolls and how it affects my riding

So I want to get a horse some time in the future near or far depending on my parents and everything and variables. But i am currently 5'9" and i was wondering how big of a horse i should be riding my barn manger assigns my horses so i don't ever have to worry about that but i would like the knowledge :] thanks! oh and one more thing i am starting to volunteer at days end farm http://www.defhr.org/ would it be a good idea to rescue a horse from there if it was my first horse? Alright i am 14 and would like to buy a horse I'm not talking like right this minute now in the future when i'm older and know enough and well hopefully more than enough to properly take care of a horse so i was wondering if you guys could tell me all the necessary things i would need to buy and everything i would need to do i already have a good sense but i want to know more and im doing research outside of Yahoo too but i just want some advice. Could you also tell me what kind of horse would be good for me? i currently am in hunter jumpers and i show on my high school team and barn team i ride three times a week and show on saturdays or sundays. thank you so much!
