  • My little sister has some kind of skin irritation, what could it be?

Last year she had a spot on her right arm where your elbow bends, it was about the size of a quarter and we noticed it when we saw her getting tan, but this spot would stay very white. She went to the doctor and he called it some kind of pigment dysfunction. That spot has gone away, and he kind of treated it like it was ring worm and gave her a lotion. Well this summer she has the same kind of spot on her left arm in the same spot and about the same size, except this time it is very irritated and itchy. She complains about burning and it looks lumpy. Could it be the same thing or something we should worry about? Thanks!

  • Sharpe pain in my forearm after blood drawn, should i be worried?

I have had this pain for the last couple days and it huts when I pick something up with my left arm or if I move my arm in a certain position. Is it possible she hit a nerve? She stuck me like 3 times before she hit a vain. Could it be something serious or should I just wait it out and see if it goes away? I called my doctor and she said that as long as it isn't discolored or have red streaks on my arm that I should be ok. Is that true? Thanks!

  • How to give my de-clawed cat time outside?

I have a 3 year old Russian Blue cat that is declawed in all 4 paws. I adopted him this was as his previous owner decided to declaw him when he was just a few months old. The problem I am having is that he is very curious and determined to go outside. He bolts out the door when ever he gets a chance, he unlocks the dog doors and sneaks out that way. I feel guilty not letting him out but if I let him out I would just be really worried about him, because he has no real way of defending himself. Does anyone have any ideas of how i can get him outside without worrying about him? Is there any surgery that could give him like claw implants or something? I know it sounds stupid, but with the weather getting nicer, he just wants outside that much more. Is there some kind of net cage I could stick him in or something? Thanks for the time!

  • Why are homes in Phoenix Arizona so cheap?

Me and my husband are thinking about moving to a warmer state. We currently live in Colorado and the winters are really tough. We have really enjoyed Arizona and want to consider moving there. We have found houses for around $70,000 that are exactly what were are looking for. My question I guess is what is the catch? In Colorado, $70,000 will barely buy you the lot for your house. Do they have cheaper homes because they have high HOA fees or do they high taxes? We are excited about the prices of the homes and just don't want to get our hopes up if we find out that we really could not afford them.

    Thanks!

  • Hypothyroidism and Fast heart rate?

Last year I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Since then I have been struggling to find the right dosage of medication. I also have developed a really fast heart rate (P.A.T) and chest pain. I went to the ER about 1 month ago and they did x-rays and blood work and said that my heart seemed fine but they were concerned with my heart rate. I was just wondering if anyone else has had these symptoms? I also found out that I had low potassium while I was in the ER. I went to the doctor a few days ago and he wants to test my adrenal glands to see if they are producing too much adrenaline and making my heart fast. Maybe have a possible tumor on my adrenal glands. I am 20 years old and weigh 130 lbs. I have been healthy all my life until now. Does anyone know what could case these symptoms I have?

    Symptoms include

    Chest Pain

    Fast Heart Rate

    Diarrhea

    Dizziness

    Lightheaded

    Tiredness

I know these isn't a medical forum and I won't get professional advice, I was just wondering if anyone has gone through this before and if I should be considering anything else.

    Thanks!

  • Moving in with Mother-In-law?

Me and my husband have been married for 2 months. We got our selves into some trouble with our credit cards while paying for the wedding and also from before the wedding. My mother in law has offered to have us move into her basement with is almost it's own little apartment to help us our for a few months. Doing this for 3 months would save us $4000.00 to help us get back on track and on the road to buying a home. What is your recommendation? I am not excited about moving back in but I do know that I might just need to swallow my pride and do it to get us out of this rut. Thanks!

  • How does a Rent-to-Own on a house work and would I qualify?

My husband and I started out on the wrong foot about 2 years ago and accumulated a lot of credit card debt. We just recently paid off more than half of that debt and are looking to buy a house. Our credit scores are around 550, so I know we will not be approved for a mortgage. So we have been looking at renting a house but are also wondering about a rent to own option. Would we be qualified to rent to own? How does a rent to own work? Any advice would help and be appreciated! Thanks!

  • How to rent a Kiosk at a local mall?

I have recently started beading as a hobby and have become really good at it. Me and a few friends are in on doing this together and would like to start selling our jewelry. We have tried E bay and craigslist but I know we would be more successful if we had a Kiosk at a mall or a small shop.

My question is that, how can we get started? Do we need a business license to have a Kiosk at a mall? Any other suggestions?

    Thanks!!

  • How can I start selling my beaded jewelry?

Recently I have picked up beading jewelry and I started this just for fun, but now I have tons of jewelry. I have had some people comment on the jewelry I wear when I am out. My family thinks I should sell this jewelry, and I have found this website that sells jewelry that looks just like mine for around 40 bucks!! http://www.jadesbeadedjewelry.com/beaded_jewelry_a...

My question is, how can I get started at selling my jewelry? I have some pictures as well, is it good enough quality? How much should I start selling them for? Thanks!

  • When can I put my baby guppies back in the big tank with the adult fish?

I have 12 little guppies that I have had in a seperate tank for about 3-4 weeks, they have grown a lot but they are still less than half the size of the adult guppies. Can I put them in the big tank already or should I wait longer. Also, what should I do with them? Can I sell these guppies or give them away? Thanks

  • My heart rate was 158 when I was working out!?

About 8 months ago I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, I found this out by having a fast resting heart rate of 128. It would give me anxiety and lightheadedness. I had an EKG and my heart seemed fine.

But when I went to work out on the treadmill today, I used the heart rate setting and it said my heart rate was 158. I freaked out and got off of the treadmill. Does this have to do with my thyroid? Is that a normal heart rate? Should I be concerned? Or am I freaking out for nothing?

Im 20 and weigh 126 lbs. I take my thyroid medication regularly and I have just starting working out again this week.

    Thank you for your time!

  • How can I tell if my Platty is about to give birth?

I have just found 12 little fish in my tank. We believe they are from my female guppy. I also have a female platy and she is very plump. She isn't moving around very much either, should we be watching her to see if she is going to give birth too?

What are some signs that she may give birth soon?

    Thanks!

  • I have spotted a VERY small baby fish in my tank, is there anything I need to do to keep the baby healthy?

I have a 10 gallon tank. I have 4 rasbora tetras, 1 guppy, and 1 platty. Earlier today I spotted a little clear spec darting around, when I took a look it was a very tiny fish. I can't tell what it is but I am thinking it is a rasbora since I have 4 of them.

Is there anything I should be doing to make sure the baby fish doesn't get hurt or anything? I only see the one right now, will I be seeing more? Is it possible there are still some in eggs somewhere in the tank?

I have never had this happen before and would love some information!

    Thanks!
