  • Question about canaries!!!!!!!?

    Do only male Canaries sing?

Also, why do people ask questions on here and never choose a best answer? Makes no sense!!!!! Especially when you can choose to get an email when someone answers your question! I will choose best answer today if anyone can help me on this.

  • My Gliders are escaping! I have NO idea how!?

The cage they are in has 1/2 inch spacing. The night before last, 1 escaped, last night BOTH escaped! I don't know where they could possibly be getting out of the cage. I searched and have not found any place they could get out through! They are probably out a few hours and they are thirsty and hungry, but it is morning, so they go right in their pouch! HELP!!!!

  • My Cockatoo is behaving badly!?

I can usually answer questions about birds and parrots, but this has me baffled. My 5 year old Umbrella Cockatoo has decided that I am now his mate, he swishes his tail back and forth on my arm EVERY time I take him out and it starts immediately. I tell him no and he gets put back in his cage at which point he starts acting VERY aggressive and tries to bite me! He jumps on the front of the cage bars, sticks his talons out and tries to reach me. I got him when he was a year old and he was the BEST Cockatoo ever! He still is in my eyes, but he bit my son and I pretty badly. He also starts screaming at the top of his lungs at 5PM to be put to bed. He used to go to bed at 7PM, now he screams until we cover him. I have other parrots that I am afraid he is stressing out as we know how loud a Cockatoo can be! Any advice would be great! I am not giving up on him, but I can't take him out of his cage anymore because he is doing this. I tried putting him on the floor and he charges at our feet. The other day I had him out and he jumped on my son, luckily he landed on the blanket as he was biting. Please help! Thnx
