A woman who is consciously in a consensual casual sexual relationship is often thought of as being used, is this another double standard?

Being told that... "she's not getting anything from the arrangement"... what is it that a woman should want to get from a man.. what is there to "get"?

Who said that a woman can't be "using" a man for physical gratification and simply isn't interested him as partner.

Is this victimizing a woman, where it isn't really necessary?

Thoughts and opinions...

- Long distance relationship (1000km) 2 different countries

- together for almost 1 year

- Im 19, hes 23

- money ALWAYS a problem - either 50/50, I pay, he owes me.

- hes finishing uni, very few classes - cant find work most of the time. I am also a student.

- I hitchhiked there to stay for 2 weeks, 4 days I was alone in a different country, no friends, waiting cuz he found work - I agreed because then he would have money to come see me later

- TODAY I find out that he spent most of that money already and his friend contacted me saying that he has a HUGE debt to pay off and isnt doing so,

- again false promises of seeing eachother, and we probably wont be together for our 1 year anniversary.

SHOULD I BE MAD??

he said he doesn't want to change his status on facebook because its stupid and childish... i dont mind that cuz indeed facebook isnt the place for that. mine doesn't appear at all, but today i noticed his says he's single.

would it be dumb if i asked him to hide that? we have pictures together so its obvious that were in a relationship anyway, but id still prefer if it doesnt say hes single... is that ridiculous?

I dont mean on dates, but in serious relationships. Split it 50/50? Is it okay if its not always even with the girl paying more? Should the guy be more generous?

what if ur coming from far to see that person and u have to pay in a different currency? should the person who lives there pay for more, what rules should apply?

I started birth control (Yasmin) last month. I had my period for 11 days as opposed to 5, spotting and discharge all month. My period came early again and Ive never had cramps this bad. Is this normal? Will it get back to normal? Should I switch to a different brand or stop all together?
