2 AnswersRugby8 years agoPakistan Cricket Team - First or Surname on shirt?
In the current series against NZ it seems that Pakistan team has no consistency in using first or surnames on the back of shirts. Most of them are surnames but then for example Umar Gul only has UMAR on his shirt. Does anyone know if there is a reason for this??

My periods are regular as usual (31 days) but a couple of times over the last 5 months there have been unusual bleeding on the 2nd day. It is like all my period coming at once, no tampon can not hold it by any means.
If I didn't know better I would say I was having early miscarriages but my partner has had a vasectomy, and I am a monogamous chick,
Any ideas or similar experiences?
2 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoBroccoli growing question?
What looks like new seedlings are coming right at the base of the plant. When the broccoli is finished producing can I cut off the entire stem and expect new plants to come from those little seedlings?
I have just had first harvest and now waiting for the smaller florettes to grow in size.
The 'seedlings' right at the base of the plant is currently about 7cm tall and most plants have 4-5 of them right bu the roots of the plant.

3 AnswersOther - Business & Finance1 decade agoWhy is water so cheap? When it is so valuable to us why does it not cost more?
The law of supply and demand states that as demand goes up for a good so will the price. Water is a life essential and still it is charged at a very reasonable rate by water companies in the western world. And in the development countries, yes, it can be hard to come by or far to walk but once you reach a well the water is free for the taking.
Can anyone see a logic explanation for this?
8 AnswersEconomics1 decade agoProbability for average monthly sale? - Business Statistics?
Distribution of sales for a factory has a mean of 20,000 units a month and a standard deviation of 3,000 units per month. Assuming that the sales are nornally distributed find the probability that the AVERAGE montly sales for a particular year fall below 18,000 units?
My problem here is that I can't seem to figure out how to do it so that it is the average month, not just any month, help on this greatly apprechiated.

I have recently moved into a new house and there is a mandarin tree in the garden, they look nice but when you open them the fruit inside is really small. If the fruit is 6cm on outside the real fruit inside is 2cm, but still rather jiucy.
I have now picked the tree clean and the flower buds are forming for next season.
What can I do to get nice big juicy mandarins from my tree net season?

Do anyone know where I can get a hold of some fresh yeast?
All my trusted swedish recipies fail to rise properly with the dry yeast from the supermarket.
(I am based in the Palmerston North area but any tips would be most appreachiated)
1 AnswerOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoDo you believe the latest terrorist plot was not quite as genuine as the authorities and media claim?
Making TATP the explosive that was meant to blow up the airplaines is the latest terrorist plot scare is no easy taks. It is certainly not as easy as you just mix it and you have bomb material like in a hollywood movie.
Peroxide of the concertation needed is nearly impossible to come by and needs to be handled with extreme care, a drinks bottle is not suitable. To mix the ingredidents will take a long time as they can only be added drop my drop, while stirring contiously and checking the temperature of the mix. It would also smell a lot. After it is all mixed (hours later) the TATP needs to dry for an hour or two before it can be used.
None of the alleged terrorists had made a bomb. They had not bought any plane tickets and many did not even have passports
It all seems to have been blown completey out of preportion and feels like another attemt to keep us all living in fear so that we will not question all the money and resourses being funneled into the 'war on terror'
