I'm nearsighted (I see fine up close, but not far). I wear glasses, and my prescription is strong enough that my optometrist advised me to take them off when doing anything close up. Are contact lenses any different? Will I need to take them out to read?

So I have a "virgin face", if you can call it that- meaning I've never worn makeup. (Except mascara and lipgloss.) When did you all start wearing makeup as an ever-day thing? (I'm fourteen.)
