I filed a small claim against a client 3 years ago. Now received a letter that the same client bankruptcy case got dismissed. Filed the case in the city of Henderson, Nevada.

I found out I was a victim of a habitual evictions tenant who pay the first month and then stay without paying as long as possible without paying or until being evicted.

The tenant is a habitual "evict" and already has a history of 7 evictions.

I got a centralized heater (gas) and the thermostat turns on and off the heater but the fan stays on all the time for some reason. I have to manually shut off the fan unit in the garage.

Already changed thermostat batteries and even thermostat itself so I know it is not the problem with the thermostat. I am guess it might be some kind of control board inside the heater. Lets see if my guess is right.

I have received a letter from a major insurance company that I have never conducted any business with except for maybe requesting a price quote. That letter states that a hacker stole information from their network potentially including my social security and dmv number and they are offering me an identity theft protection at no charge for one year.

Two of my major concerns are:

1. Is it legal for any company to obtain and retain my personal information without doing business with them and without my permission?

2. Can I sue them for any damages if any occur due to the theft of information if I decide not to pursue the identity protection?

I am also suspecting this letter could be a scare fraud to get me signed up for identity protection for one year and then pay for the rest...

3 months ago I purchased a sample product from essenceofargan.com which provides a free sample with the price of shipping. When the product arrived it had a small print on the invoice that if I don't cancel a membership within 15 days I will be charged $83 and change every month.

I threw away the invoice not even noticing the membership statement, so the company proceeded with charging me a membership fee every month.

The product was shipped from Florida but the credit card charge had an added BG transaction fee (a credit transaction which applies for purchases made out of Great Britain). And I was charged a membership fee which I did not agreed to.

I tried to dispute the charges through the credit card company but they refused by stating that they do not negotiate wrong doing.

I am considering filing a law suit and a complaint to the FTC.

The free order page do not state a charge from Great Britain, nor does it state an agreement for membership.

It is really hard to detect but once in a long while when I break toward a traffic light I noticed the oil pressure gauge drops to 0 and the engine light come on beeps for 1 second and returns to normal like nothing happened. Any ideas? could it be an oil pressure sensor fault or does it mean the sensor is dying?

This is on a Dodge cargo van Ram 1500 year 2003.

Let say I want to display search results with priority listing sort by PRICE, then if PRICE is all the same then sort by DATE, and lets make it more complicated and if the DATE and PRICE is all the same then sort by USER-RATINGS (MySQL example is preferred).

I have heard that passing mortgages from company to company with the chance that they may have lost the paper trail and with that can negotiate a better mortgage deal or lower the principal.

With that being said. I have paid off my first loan and always paid on time my second loan but getting lower rate on my mortgage would be REALLY helpful and I cannot get doc'ed loan because I am self employed with inconsistent income.

Is it true that messing around with proof of ownership with the mortgage company can result in them starting an investigation on the mortgage papers fraud and it could potentially backfire?

A. If I publish someone's personal information such as social security number, dmv number, address, debt owed, law suits, criminal background, over the internet can I get sued?

B. Is privacy laws different in each U.S. state?

C. Can someone sue me for publishing private information (such as mentioned in A) from a different country?

Occasional noise from cutting metal for few seconds at a time but if the garage door is closed then hardly anyone can hear it outside and even less chance anyone will hear it sitting at their home since the distance between each house is more then 50ft. Only commercial vehicle parked in the driveway. No neighborhood HOA or association. Working reasonable hours 10am and no late then 10pm

I leased a property for few years to Mr X then Mr X added roommates Y and Z which is a breach of the lease agreement, however Mr X is gone for a while never to return meanwhile roommates Y and Z continued paying the rent on time every time for a duration of approximately a year. During that time I had no suspicion of roommates. Then roommates Y and Z decided to stop paying rent and even answered on an eviction notice and showed up in court trying to win extended stay as they stopped paying for the last 2 months. I can sue whoever I like in the matter, however I like to know if I would be able to get compensation suing roommates Y and Z in this matter if I can prove that they were responsible for paying the rent or is it only the lease holder that can be held responsible?

How long can I live outside of America to be legally considered as a American resident?
