Here's what happened.

I was driving on the freeway and all of the sudden, every time I pressed the gas, it made a strange clanking noise then it abruptly died. There were no longer power brakes and I couldn't do anything except coast to the nearest gas station.

Now it won't even crank or turn over, when I turn the key nothing happens. :[

The oil, gas, and battery were pretty low, but after putting more gas and oil, there was no change.

Could it be the battery?

Did my engine seize? (I hope not...)

Could it be something completely different?

I can't take it to the mechanic yet due to cost, so any input as to what happened would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a beautiful dress for the dance at my school on the 18th and all they had left was a size that *almost* fits me. It'll zip up about 2/3 of the way up even if I suck in my stomach...other than exercising, dieting, and drinking LOTS of water (all of which I'm doing) how else can I zip up my dress? I don't have the money for altering so does anyone have any tricks for zipping up a too tight dress?!?
