  • What to do with canned roast beef?

Hi. I have a couple cans of Kirkland Roast Beef that I don't know what to do with. Does anyone have a good recipe? I've already tried tacos, enchiladas and bbq beef sandwiches.

    Thanks!

  • What is the best u-pick farm to visit in Oak Glen?

My family and I want to go apple picking this weekend, and don't know what is the best farm to go to. We're also interested in other produce too.

Does anyone have a particular favorite? Does a specific farm have better prices or apples?

    Thanks!

  • Should I choose a family practice or internal medicine doctor?

My husband and i need to pick a doctor, and can't figure out if we need a family practice or internal medicine doctor. Is one better than the other?

We're 20 years old, we are both in ok health. We suspect I may have a thyroid problem, so we do need to get that checked out. Also, we are considering starting a family soon. Can anyone give me some reasons about which type of doctor would be best?

  • why is my cat so skinny?

my cat is 6 months old, female and I'm concerned about how skinny she is. She's been de-wormed, and is up to date on her shots. We feed her wet food twice a day, and have a bowl of dry food out all day for all our cats to snack on. The vet said to feed her nutri-cal until she comes in to see if she'll gain any weight, so we feed her that once a day also.

Has this happened to anyone before? We have two other cats 1yr and 4 months who are just fine. Her shoulder blades and hip bones are very prominent.

BTW, a vet is scheduled soon.

  • My 3 month old cat has one eye swollen?

We noticed her eye starting to swell friday, and it's gotten gradually worse. The eye is cloudy underneath, and there's discharge.

We have a vet appointment tomorrow morning, but i just wanted to see what it may be before then. We have 2 other cats who are in perfect health, could this one have been scratched? Or is it an infection?

  • Where can I buy cute plus size dresses?

I'm not a big fan of Torrid or Lane Bryant, so is there anywhere else with cute plus size dresses? Online or in store?

    Thanks.

  • My 1 year old cat keeps carrying new kitten?

I have a 1 yr. neutered male cat who keeps trying to pick up my 6 week old kitten by the neck/head!!!

We've had the kitten since she was 3 weeks old, and our older cat would help clean the kitten, and would even take it up upon himself to stimulate the bowels. He wasn't territorial with her when she first came in.

But now I find him dragging/carrying the kitten around in his mouth! Will he hurt the kitten? Why is he doing this? Sometimes the kitten meows when being carried, but nothing like she's being hurt.

I never let the kitten out of the bathroom when I'm not home, but I really want to know the behaviour of my older cat.

    Thanks!

  • Advice on Raising 3 week old Orphaned kittens.?

About 3 1/2 weeks ago, a feral cat had kittens in a bush near my apartment. My boyfriend and I have been keeping an eye on them, watching them grow and feeding Mom. We had planned on taking the kittens in at 5 weeks so there aren't more feral kittens running around.

However, we haven't seen mom in a little over a day. The kittens were cold, and hungry so we took them in. We warmed them, feed them KMR, helped them eliminate and are wondering what to do next. There are only 2 kittens, so it isn't a huge burden, and we're open to the idea of fostering them. We called shelters, and they aren't accepting any new kittens.

So my question is, how do I take care of the kittens? I know we need to wean them, potty train them and socialize, but is there anything else important? I just want to make sure I can give these cats the best care possible. Anyone have experience with such young kittens?

  • Bank charged my closed checking account?

I closed my bank account 2 months ago, and I just received a letter saying my account had charges on it. When I closed my account, I paid off all charges, and the "account closing fee".

I don't understand what, and why I'm being charged. I called the bank, and they told me my account wasn't closed until May 30th. Even though I had been into the bank to pay my credit card bill, AND on my online account there is no checking acccount, and hasn't been since I closed it.

I don't have $120 to pay the bogus fees, so what do I do?

  • Decorating LDS Cultural Hall for a reception?

I'm getting married in a few weeks, and I have NO idea how to decorate my venue. My fiance is Mormon, so we are going to use the relief society for the ceremony, and the cultural hall for the reception. It's a big hall, which also doubles as a stage and basketball court. We are on a budget, and can't hire professionals to help.

Any ideas on what to do with such a large space? Any others who have had a reception in the cultural hall, or been to one?

  • I think my cat is dying?

The past week my 9 week old kitten has been getting noticably thinner. I bought her KMR and mashed it with wet food, but it didn't seem to help. I had a vet appointment for tomorrow, but she is listless, shallow breathing. She won't move from laying on her side, and if I try to move her, she goes limps and flops. She is making sad mewing sounds, it almost sounds like a seizure. The rest of the cats have gathered around her, licking her and keeping her warm. I'm making sure she is warm, comforting her, but I don't know what else I can do.

There is no way I can get to a vet tonight, is there anything I can do RIGHT NOW to help her?
