3 AnswersPhotography1 decade agoTuition costs at the University of Guanajuato?
Hi there, I've been searching through the University of Guanajuato's website trying to find how much classes cost per-credit. I don't want to study there through a study-abroad program, just go down and take classes by myself as a regular student without gaining credit at an American university. Does anyone know how much per credit classes cost (in USD)?
Thanks!
1 AnswerStudying Abroad1 decade agoIn a poem, if there are lines, and then a blank line, do you number the blank space?
Example:
Mueves el pie en el gozne del tobillo
como lleva la musica los timidos, y luego
llamado
entras . . .
<Does the space between "como llevan . . . y luego" and "llamado" have a number (in this case, 3), or does it remain unnumbered?

This story seems like it's filled to the brim with comparisons of appearance and reality, of what is visible or audible, and what is hidden. What LARGER significance do you personally find in this story? To me, it is very applicable to today's media . . .
2 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoDoes anyone know good Joan Miro sites?
I'm looking for some good sites about the surrealist Joan Miro, specifically information about his nervous breakdown which occurred during his short stint as an accountant. I've looked all over, and am having no luck because I would prefer the sites to be in Spanish (castellano).
2 AnswersPainting1 decade agoWhat do you think about the guy who is going to sell people's letters to God on ebay?
The article is on the yahoo! homepage. I think it is awful that he would sell these letters--he doesn't know these people and has not asked them if they would like to share their pain with the world. What do you think?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago'Los heraldos ******,' translation troubles?
I've been searching for a good translation of Cesar Vallejo's "Los heraldos ******," and have been coming up with some interesting translations that don't match how I have been reading the poem (for instance, line 10 "de alguna fe adorable" I have been reading 'fe' in the religious context, as 'faith,' and everything I've been finding is saying 'adorable one,' which is not making sense to me.). Does anyone have a good reading on the poem, help me make some more sense of it?

4 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoDoes anyone know how you can order paintings from artists on Las Ramblas, in Barcelona?
I was just in Spain this past summer, and wanted to buy some of the paintings like replicas of Picasso's depiction of don Quixote and Sancho Panza, but never got the chance. The best ones are on Las Ramblas, and have the text of the story imposed over the figures. Anyone know if you can order this kind of painting?

I have my own opinion on this, but was talking to my bf about it and he swears my interp is wrong. So . . . what do you think the significance was of the American Beauty scene in the garage with both dads, and why do they intentionally capture the image of the boy's dad's wedding ring?
