Why some air purifier brands like Xiaomi claim that their HEPA filters last only 6 months, while some like Austin Air claim 5 years lifespan?
Why some air purifier brands like Xiaomi and BlueAir claim that their HEPA filters last about 6 months, while some brands like Austin Air for example, claim that HEPA filters last for whole 5 years? Who is lying?
2 AnswersOther - Electronics2 months agoWhy there is void when I pull out the crown of my Swiss Military quartz watch and try to set time first clockwise and then counterclockwise?
The watch has date function (shows date) and I noticed this problem after I took it to the service for battery replacement. Is it possible that they “stole” some part of the mechanism and replaced it with a cheaper one?
2 AnswersOther - Electronics3 months agoShould I replace the filter of my Xiaomi Air purifier 2S after only 6 months like the company recommends? Please read description.?
I have Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2S and the company recommends changing the filter (HEPA + carbon + pre-filter, 3-in-1) every 6 months. Should I replace it now after 6 months, since I read on the internet that the lifespan of a HEPA filter is 2 years?
1 AnswerOther - Electronics4 months agoWhat can be the possible reason for me occasionally having dry cough episodes that last about half an hour? Please read description below.?
August 2019 was the first time I experienced a dry cough that lasted about half an hour and that happend during lying, trying to fall asleep. Something was triggering the cough. From then till now it happened occasionally. While time was passing, the episodes were becoming less frequent and less severe. I'm 24 now and was a heavy smoker from 15 untill 21 (when I quitted smoking). I also have GERD. I successfully recovered from COVID-19 a month ago. What are the possible reasons? Could it be lung cancer or COPD? Or just some allergy?

I'm a 24-year-old boy and I recently recovered from COVID-19. It was a hard time for me and my family and I want to prevent it from happening again. I'm wondering can I maintain my immunity by constantly being in contact with the virus, intentionally?

I was driving my FIAT PUNTO (2016) 1.2 Petrol at maximum load, with gas pedal pressed to the end (150 km/h with A/C turned on) for 45 km. Did I harm my engine? Did I shorten its lifespan significantly? Please don't judge me for exceeding speed limit.
5 AnswersFiat8 months agoWhy does my 256 GB Crystal Disk Info still shows SSD Health 100%, even thought it has 1.85 TBW and is rated at 150 TBW?
My Kingstone 256 GB SSD has done 1.85 TBW and still Crystal Disk Info shows Health: 100%. Why is that? As far as I know it is rated at 150 TBW, so it should take 1% of health on every 1,5 TBW. In my case it should be now showing Health: 99%, not 100% still.
