I've gotten asked this question at every interview so far. I am a recent college grad in engineering and my career goals are:

1. Get a job

I always end up stumbling over this question..

I am writing a cover letter and know only the last name and first initial of the HR person. How should I address the letter?

Dear Mr or Mrs Smith

or just stick with Sir or Madam

So here is the story:

Two summers ago I worked with this girl, we got along very well, but of course, she had a boyfriend. After that summer I didn't see or talk to her except for when we randomly bumped into each other. Eventually I find out that she is engaged, and then a while later I find out that she broke it off with her finance. Soon after this, she starts texting/emailing me wanting to hang out! Remember we hadn't ever really hung out with each other or even really talked to each other except at work 2 years ago. We got together for lunch a few weeks back, and I got to hear all about her finance story, and at some point she said something to the effect of "I'm not looking for a boyfriend right now". Now she asked me out to dinner with her. Now i would be totally down to having her as a girlfriend, but just what the hecks on this girls mind?

First date was fancy dinner. I was thinking pizza and movie at my place for the next!

How come in college all the girls have boyfriends but all the guys are single?

I have a smaller (500sq.ft.) apartment and I would love to get a little furry companion. Question is: Would the cat be sad to live in a world thats only 500 square feet? Im a college student and will spend large amounts of my day on campus and the cat will be alone, is it going to be sad and lonely?

It was green from K-8, silver from 9-12, and black in college. I was thinking of painting the drawers a cream color and the rest a dark brown, or vice versa. I welcome any input.

I have a brown belt and a black belt, but no tan belt. which color would go better with these boots?

What kind of jeans do girls like men to wear? More specifically a man in his early 20's who is tall, muscular, while at the same time a little over weight. I always just buy the ones in my size and women keep telling me I need to get the kind that make my butt look cute or something lol

I cook rice in a rice cooker and once its always got a bite to it. All I can think is I'm not using enough water? It also cooks way faster than the package says to.

I have a bachelors of science in electrical engineering from a state university. This means that I can find employment in the US as an engineer. If I were to move to Brisbane Australia, would I be able to work as an engineer without going through the Australian education system?
