im a junior in highschool and need to make a list of schools but ive tried and everytime i end up with none on my list. I have a 4.0 weighted gpa and 3.7 unweighted. the first time i took my sats i got a 1710 and i retook it but im guessing it will be around the same. I want a medium sized school on the east coast like in either p.a, rhode island, connecticut, nj, or somewhere kinda close (i live in nj). i just want suggestions because i want to start visiting . i want a school with nice people a decent party life and that its not soo easy to get into but not extremely unrealistically difficult either. Price does matter but im planning on getting financial aid and stuff. help?

so yesterday all day i was feeling like i was gona throw up. i was thinking it was because i was nervous to go to the party i went to last night because they guy i like is there and when im nervous i get nausious. so during dinner before the party i ate but was feeling nausious the enitre time, i gaged once but didnt puke. then at the party i drank 1 beer and threw up but then i felt much better. i know the beer wasnt the reaso i threw up because i felt that was the entire day. then i woke up this morning a little hungover but its now im righting this at the end of the day and my hangover should be gone by now.. i tried throwing up this morning but my stomach was emty so i couldnt and just now i threw up a little bit and i feel a little better. i just dont know exactly what is going on.. my only symptom is nausea and a bit of dizziness. maybe im dehydrated?

i was hanging out with my friend and her friend calls her (hes a guy) and like hey wanna hangout and shes like with who and he lists a guy that i literally was telling her about 5 minutes ago and how i thought he was hot, we hangout and she told him that i thought he was hot and he said hes hook up with me (a.k.a make out) but they said he wanted me to make the first move..hes a senior guy and im a junior girl and like idk its bizarre to me like i didnt know what to do we were in my friends friend's room on his bed and he sat on a chair so i couldnt sit next to him and like i didnt want to be obvious even though everyone knew we both wanted to and his friens were like dude just make a move but he didnt and we didnt end up hooking up that night but hes cute and i def am planning on going for it next time but like idk what i should have done and like i also dont just want to hook up i want a relashionship with him what should i do?

im goig to be a junior come september and im trying out for the varsity team. i started playing last year (sophomore year) and i didnt do the summer league. im behind everyone. 20 people are trying out but only 12 will make it. i played for outside but idk if thats what im gona be this year. i can rarely make overhand serves im good at passing and a pretty good hitter. i started on jv but i know this means basically nothing for varsity. i NEED to get on. i have the determination and work ethic but i just need some tips for setting, hitting, passing and serveing like original things or really helpful stuff not the basic stuff i can find everywhere on google. i have tryouts in 5 days and having played in like 2 months. :/ please help

my hair is long and light brown. it is a wavy/straight mix depending on the way i let it dry. if i brush it while its damp it comes out straight but if i just leave it then it drys with a slight wave. eitherway it always has small hairs at the hairline and part that dont stay down and it really pisses me off because noone else has this problem ans you can see it especially when i have it pulled back in a ponytail or bun. sometimes i brush some Garnier sleek serum while its damp and it helps but it still doesnt work completely and if i put in too much then it looks like greasy even thought its not. i looked at it up close in the mirror and my theory is that sinse hey are shorter hairs and have a slight wave they stick up. please help. thanks :)

i was on webmd and diagnosed myself with tonsillitis and ive had it since friday (02-04-11). i told my mom to call the doctor and make an appointment but she has to call tommorrow because its sunday and we probably wont get an appointment right away. it will probably have gone away by then so i wanted to know when i can go to school and not be contagious to anyone and how i can make it go away because it hurts my tonsils to breathe through my mouth and i cant help but cough to try to make the itchy feeling go away.

so last year i had a ton of friends, hung out with people and talked to many people, this year i dont hang out with anyone all i do is go to school and come home. my friends stopped calling to hangout because i never went because i want allowed to hangout with them since the summer because of an "incident". now they keep saying they miss hanging out and i do too but all they do is drink. i dont want to and its not like they are peer pressuring because they respect my desision and not all of them drink but still i feel akward hanging out since we havent in such a long time and also theyve made more friends who im not friends with and i dont want it to be akward. weve kindof grown apart because they are drama kids that sing act and dance and that not my thing. we both dont admit that fact and still want to hangout but idk its weird. im cluless as to what to do. im so lost. help?

ok so what im about to say is pretty complex. im 16 year old sophomore. ive never had a boyfriend. i dont know why. ive been asked out before and declined, i have had many guys intrested in me but i think im scared i dont know of what though. i hooked up with this guy for the first time over the summer (hooked up as in made out) and i was really nervous. now last weekend i hung out with this other guy and he says he wants to hook up. i kindof want to but at the same time im still nervous. im telling hima dn everyone that i dont want to because hes my friends ex but i know im using this as an excuse. like, im fine with guys when we are friends but when i found out they like me i get akward and nervous. i just dont know what to do. im so confused. i cant talk to any of my friends because they dont understand, they dont have this problem (they have had a ton of boyfriends and are more experienced than i am mentally and physically) like i want to be the type of girl who can go and hook up with everyone but im not and ive accepted that im a classy down to earth girl and i dont have a problem with it just i wish i could do what i want to do and talk to guys without putting up a wall before i can get close to anyone.

ok so we did this lab in school about newtons third law and tension on a string. we hooked a springscale to a pole then string on one hook of the spring scale and held the other side. then we switched it and hooked two spring scales together and i need to write a conclusion about the lab but im so confused!!! help

im a 15 year old girl and im currently like 5'1-5'2. my mom is my hieght and my dad is like 5'9. i want to be taller. the thing is that when i compare my height to my friends our shin areas are the same length and my torso id normal lenght the only thing is my femor bone is shorter. i also dont kno if it helps but i got my period like march of lasy year so i dont kno if that makes a difference.
