I haven't had good luck so far with a repairman fixing my Kenmore Dishwasher. They either don't keep their appointment time frame (several hours late) or I have been told "I don't feel like pulling your dishwasher out, as it's been a long day and I'm really tired"! Really! I've also been told it's going to take a month to get the part needed. Seriously, it's a relatively young Kenmore! Sears charges $90.00 to just show up at the door and I don't know if that amount gets applied to a repair fee. I don't mind paying, I just don't want to be taking advantage of. Any good recommendations for the Northern Virginia/ Washington DC area? Thanks for your responses, I will rate your answers.

We would like to stay somewhere near the Dam square or in a central location. We are a middle aged couple looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable room with good bedding that provides internet. Would like to keep it under $200 per night. We will be doing all the tourist stuff including going to the Tulip gardens. Any suggestions or recommendations?

I am looking for something clean with a private bathroom, has comfortable beds, centrally located downtown or close to a metro that offers a good breakfast for less than $100 per night? I am looking for personal recommendations or suggestions because I have read many reviews and find them conflicting and confusing.

It needs to have support and stability to handle cobblestones, be comfortable for touring all day and look good. I'm trying to avoid taking 3 or 4 different pairs of shoes to Portugal. I also don't won't to turn my ankle so they need to be comfortable. I tend to like Skechers that look like bikers shoes because of the support but I'm not thrilled with the colors and they don't look good with a cute dress. If nothing fits the requirements I guess I can take 2 pairs of shoes.

Any suggestions or recommendations from someone who has traveled lately?

I have very thick, coarse, frizzy, dry(prone to breakage) curly hair and their are so many products out there claiming to make your hair soft and manageable. So far I haven't found one that lives up to those claims. I am looking for a store bought product that will make my hair soft without using a curling iron, blow dryer or straightener. Although I'm Caucasian I wouldn't be opposed to using products specifically for women of color. I just don't want to keep spending money on products that don't work. Any suggestions or recommendations? How about Wen?

I wanted this to be a small intimate gathering at a restaurant since I am paying for it but it's turning out to be a much larger one. Also, one person is bringing a guest and didn't even ask me which is adding to the number. I have not yet sent this person a formal invitation as I did the other guests. I just mentioned it to her and told her I would e-mail her. Is there anyway to uninvite her or not have her come without hurting her feelings? Remember she is just an aquaintance.

The only way I can get on the web seems to be through Mozilla Firefox if I go directly to Internet Explorer it won't let me connect and keeps bouncing me off. I just upgraded to Internet Explorer 8 and it just started doing this. Anyone know why?

She has no children but she loves animals especially cats. She has a small doll collection and she loves jewelry. She is petite and does so much for other people I want to get her something really special for her birthday. We are giving her a surprise birthday party around Valentine's Day!

I have Windows XP and I seem to get the non-responsive window displayed quite often with the 2 buttons "End Now" or "Cancel". Why do I keep getting this pop up so often and why is the program not responding so often? I am on Verizon DSL and I live in a major metropolitan area. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
