My mom's printer ran out of ink so she purchased a new black ink and a new color ink. Now the printer is going through all the motions of printing, but no ink is actually being used. IDK what happned?? The tape is off both cartridges, and i've tried unplugging everything but nothing is working, help!

I read this book years and years ago and can't remember the title. It was written and published in Ireland and one of the main characters name was Declan. It was a very very long book and it ended with declan's daughter marrying their neighbor, whom they all thought unsuitable. It took place over 20 years of their life and i think the name is something like rags to riches, but that could be entirely false b/c i can't find it anywhere. please help! is there any website that i can go to to figure something like this out???

Many years ago, a neighbor of mine passed on and her daughter gave me a selection of her books, including a few Sharon McCone mysteries. I remember particularly enjoying one, but can't remember the title, and it's driving me mad. The plot had to do with a mystery having to do with something in the sixties for some reason. Sharon was still working at All Souls and someone had been shot maybe a book or two before this?? He was married, but I think the marriage either was or had been in trouble, and the letter H springs to mind. A particular point I remember is when one of Sharon's coworkers is romanticizing to 60's, wishing she'd been a part of it, and Sharon angrily jumps down her throat saying that the 60's was all about anger and frustration, not love. I also think a character that kind of irritated Sharon gets shot, but again idk. Please help!!! Also, please keep in mind I read this book maybe twice about ten years ago. Thank you so much!!!

I have some movies on my computer that I'm trying to burn to dvd's and whenever I burn them using ashampoo they say burn successful, but they skip constantly throughout the playback on my dvd player. There aren't any protection things on the movies b/c it was downloaded onto my comp. The one i'm playing back now skipped for a few seconds and when it came back on there was no sound. This is FRUSTRATING. Please help!

I have a HP desktop and out of nowhere neither the dvd writer nor the cd rom drives will open. I've tried going to my computer and hitting eject, pushing a pin in the little hole in the front, taking the drive out and clearing away all the dust, but nothing is working. Nothing happened to the computer, just one day they didn't want to open. Any help??

My mom gave me a bottle of "Spanish Passion" Red wine from a nearby winery. I'm having a party the day after tomorrow and would like to turn it into Sangria. The label say's it is is "sangria style" wine, made from 50% red grape wine, 30% peach wine and 20% orange wine. Does anyone know a recipe I can use using this wine?? I've been looking up recipes and they all include sugar and orange juice and reg red wine, and I'm not sure I'll need the sugar and orange juice with this wine. Thanks in advance.

Ever since the warm weather has started we have had a MILLION flies in the house. We can't seem to get rid of them, for every 10-20 we kill, they just come back. We've moved the garbage away from the house, there is no food left out, all the doors and windows are closed, we cannot figure out how these flies are coming in and why they are so attracted to us! They just come in and sit in the windows, pretty much anytime during the day if I lift the blinds I'll see about 20 flies just sitting there in the window. PLEASE HELP!!!! I live in Northern NJ if that helps at all.

I recently purchased the Sharp 26SH10U flat screen tv. I want to set up my computer with the tv being the monitor, but the tv doesn't have a USB port that would allow me to connect it to the CPU. Is there anyway I can do this still?

My husband has a bunch of shows that he wants to move from our DirecTV DVR to our computer so that he can burn them to discs. We've noticed a USB port on the DVR box but aren't sure how we would go about doing this. Can anyone help?

My husband has these circular red spots all over his neck. They aren't painful, itchy, or irritating in anyway, they don't bother him at all. He has had them for about 3-4 years, and they only become really apparent in the summer. Every year there seem to be more of them. We have no idea at all what they are, and were hoping that maybe someone would have some ideas. They are only on his neck, and I thought maybe it's from his shirt collar, maybe chafing him, but that doesn't make that much sense in them being circles. I would think that chafing from a shirt would be a line all around then neck. If anyone has any ideas, please help!
