  • Fantasy Baseball Keepers?

H2H points league (12 teams) everyone gets to keep 3 players (essentially in place of rounds 1-2-3) as well as up to two rookie keepers (have to qualify as rookies in 2012) in exchange for picks 32 & 33.

I have the rookies: Jesus Montero and Matt Moore

But I'm struggling with which 3 veteran keepers to protect:

Pedroia, Kinsler, Reyes, Longoria & Kemp

    I don't think I'd keep Kinsler - which 3 would you keep?

  • Open message to people asking Fantasy Football questions.?

THIS IS NOT A QUESTION - IT'S JUST INTENDED TO HELP YOU WITH YOURS

If you want us to rank your fantasy team:

    - Tell us HOW MANY TEAMS are in your league

    - Tell us what the SCORING FORMAT is

    - Tell us anything else we need to know (was it a keeper league, etc.)

If you want us to rate a trade or potential trade

    - Again, tell us HOW MANY teams are in your league

    - Again, tell us the SCORING FORMAT

    - If it's a KEEPER league - that's a very important nugget - tell us!

If you're asking us what players you should protect in a keeper league

    - HOW MANY TEAMS ARE IN YOUR LEAGUE

    - WHAT IS THE SCORING FORMAT

    - HOW MANY PLAYERS CAN YOU PROTECT

    - ARE THEIR PENALTIES FOR PROTECTING PLAYERS (i.e. do you give up a draft pick, etc.)

    - ARE THERE LIMITS BY POSITION (i.e. can't keep more than 2 RB's, etc.)

So many questions on this board are impossible to answer accurately because insufficient information is provided. Give us the details and you might actually get some helpful answers.

  • FF: comparison questions...?

Slaton or Chris Johnson - who would you take and why? Chris Johnson regularly goes 6-10 spots ahead of Slaton, and I am not sure why.

Marion Barber or Clinton Portis? Portis keeps dropping in drafts - all the way into mid-3rd round. Barber goes as early as late 2nd, but generally ahead of Portis - who do you take?

Roddy White or Steve Smith? I see these two flip-flop in mock drafts either late 2nd or early 3rd round.. White seems the better pick to me, with Smith getting older and Delhomme sucking. Who do you take?

  • Best/Worst Divisions in Football?

by record the best divisions in football are: NFC East at 26-14 and AFC South at 26-14; the worst is not the AFC East (17-23 mainly thanks to NE 10-0) but the NFC West at 15-25.

Top to bottom I have to say the best is AFC South - Indy is hurt right now, but TEN, JAX, and even HOU are all still in the hunt. NFC East is floating above water thanks to weak NFC play and they've all played NYJ and MIA already. DAL is for real, and NYG are a strong WC candidate, but I can't take WAS and PHI for real.

As for the weakest; I go with the NFC West. Sure the AFC East (minus NE) is 7-23; but right now I think NYJ and MIA would both hammer SF. STL is terrible, and even SEA might reach 9-7 with a pretty weak schedule of their own.

    Thoughts?

  • Which QB to start?

Schaub against Jacksonville - Young at TB - Huard vs Cinci

Huard has the best matchup, but he's the worst QB of the three - recommendations?

  • Fantasy Football - who to start at RB #2?

In a 12-team H2H league, I need to choose between Cadillac Williams (at SEA) or Ahman Green (home v KC) - who would you start (standard scoring: 1pt/10 yards ru/rec, 6 pts per TD)?

  • In a keeper league, would you trade Edge for the rights to Bush?

I'm in a 12 team keeper league, where everyone protects 4 players (one of which has to be someone you drafted as a rookie).

I have Edge, Harrison, Randy Moss, and sadly the only rookie on my team was Alex Smith (no matter, I'll draft another QB).

The deal would land me the #1 overall pick (Bush) and Deuce Mcallister for Edge and my #9 overall pick. (The other guy has Deuce, Culpepper, Da Jackson, and Steven Jackson right now)

Naturally, most of the top players are protected already (Rudi, Mcgahee, Brady, Chambers, and Wayne are probably the best veterans available in the draft) so it's hard to say who'll be available to me at #9.

Would you make the deal (if the other guy would accept it)?
