Don't know whether or not I have scabies? Please help!?
Now I might just be freaking myself out. I recently started feeling itchy on my scalp and checked for lice and dandruff but there was nothing there. Then about a day later I started feeling randomly itchy all over my body and ive noticed two red spots on my arms that look like regular bug bites.
Now I am not a messy person so I know for a fact it isn't lack of hygeine. The only other time I could remember myself this itchy is whenever I'm about to start or end my period (I currently am about to end my cycle now).
I know the only animal contact I've had is on mothers day when I visited my relatives and played with their dog. Their dog is an outside dog and I have no idea when he last took a bath. Also as for the bug bites, I have been outside a lot this week so I'm not sure if it's a scabies bug bite or just a regular one.
I've heard scabies is contagious, but I live with four other people and they have not experienced any itchiness or symptoms I have and we are in close contact a lot.
Advice would greatly be appreciated. For all I know it could just be stress related or something.
2 AnswersSkin Conditions8 years agoGuys, would you mind meeting your date's parents before you go out?
My mom and dad are old-fashioned parents (and also my mom is Hispanic and my dad is Italian so family being involved in things is common) and they say that out of respect a guy should meet a girls parents before they go out on a date with them (while living under their household).
Guys, what's your opinion on this? If you have any stories I'll be glad to hear them!
2 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoIs it okay to feel jealous in my situation?
Now ask anybody and I'm not usually a jealous girl.
Here's my situation: I met this guy, we hit it off great, become boyfriend and girlfriend, and start dating for three months. Then out of nowhere, I was blindsided and he broke up with me saying our whole relationship was a lie and he didn't love me. He said he didn't want to be committed to just one person and he wanted to still flirt with girls and he had feelings for other women. So weeks passed, months passed and suddenly he starts talking to me again and we are strictly friends.
About a couple of days ago, we had a real deep conversation about what happened to us and he wanted to get back together again. I agreed and it was fine the first couple of days. Now I see that he still talks to girls and sometimes it makes me uncomfortable that he talks to past girls he dated and they still want his attention. I feel jealous and kinda weary because I don't want to get dumped again. I can't really talk to him about it because he has quite a temper just like I do so what would you do in this situation? And is it okay to be jealous and concerned? Im not going to lie I am insecure about our relationship but I'm willing to try if he's willing which he is but his actions sort of don't show it.
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoIs it wrong for a girl to want to become stronger and have more muscle?
I'm 19 years old and about to turn 20 and for my new years resolution I would like to become stronger and become more muscular. I would like to compete in bodybuilding competitions and look different for once and not blend in all the time. I'm not saying I want to be a beast I just want definition and become ripped to challenge myself and stop being in my comfort zone.
I have one friend that is totally against the idea of me doing this and it's getting annoying. He's making nasty comments that I'm a lesbian, growing into man, I'll look ugly and guys wont find me attractive and basically trying to get me out of doing it and saying I should be skinny and no muscle. at all. So to shut him up I want your opinion on the subject. Do you think it's okay for a girl to want to become stronger and muscular and wanting to be different? I'm not talking I wanna be a beast just not the usual skinny girl guys drool over

8 AnswersDiet & Fitness8 years agoWhy does my lower buttcheek hurt? (not trying to be funny!)?
I have some kind of pain in the lower part of my buttcheek going straight down my leg into my foot. It started Sunday night (pain was the worst) and is now Tuesday (the pain has subsided but it's still very uncomfortable).
I'm not pregnant, have been prone to back aches from time to time after standing from long periods of times, and the last time I worked out intensely was about two weeks ago and the only leg/gluteal exercises I did was run on the treadmill, do the elliptical, and do Squats. I'm confused on what's going on so advice will greatly be appreciated!
1 AnswerWomen's Health9 years agoIs it okay not to be in the mood to party?
My friend keeps on bugging me to party but I'm not really into it. He gets mad and says I don't know how to have fun, but I tell him the club scene is not my thing right now since I'm working and trying to get back to go to school and I have way more responsibilities and bills to pay off than he does (he has his dad to help him pay for things, I have my paycheck and help my rents anyway I can since I live with them). So is it wrong on my part to not want to go out and party? I don't mind having fun, but we have different views on what fun is. Any advice?
2 AnswersFriends9 years agoI don't know what's wrong with my cat? Help!?
My cat is a normal, healthy five year old short haired tabby cat. We found her as a stray with a huge bitemark on her bottom and it has successfully healed. My parents had a baby two years ago and after the baby was born, my cat started peeing everywhere. Recently she started biting herself and not eating or drinking water and hacking up hairballs or whatever she eats. We've tried different foods, but even her old food doesn't settle. Can someone please give some insight?

1 AnswerFashion & Accessories9 years agoDont Know If I Feel The Same Way?
So there's this guy that likes me and I like him as well. I've had a history of bad relationships, so I am always used to be treated and feeling like crap when it comes to dudes. This guy is different though, he respects me and likes me for me, etc. BUT he's wanting to spend a lot of time together and I would love to but can't because I have certain responsibilities to do and also I'm scared to just jump in. I like him but I think he likes me more than I like him and I don't know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

1 AnswerWomen's Health9 years agoHow Do I Convince My Parents Liking Older Men Is Okay?
I am 19 years old with a job and going to school part time. Many people have called me very responsible and mature for my age and I hardly hang out with people my own age (I relate more to a 23-30 year old more than a teenager). So as a result I tend to like older men. Not like grandpa but up till their 30s. My parents think this is sick and weird when they themselves are 3 years apart. What can I do to convince them that it's okay for a girl my age with my criteria to like older guys?

11 AnswersPregnancy9 years agoPossibility I could be pregnant?
I had sex in May with my boyfriend and he wore a condom and it did not break or fall off we are sure of it. I am not on birth control, and made sure the times we did it I wasn't ovulating. I had my regular period in June, and now I'm starting my period for July. It feels like my normal period but they seem lighter. I've also changed my diet routine and living a more healthy lifestyle plus stress is a huge issue in my living situation which can affect the menustration process as well, but I'm freaking out that it may be implantation bleeding. But wouldn't I notice it in June as well? Help is appreciated!!
2 AnswersPregnancy9 years agoAm I Just A Hook-Up? Please Read And Answer!?
I met a guy seven months ago and we became fast friends. He seemed like a nice and caring guy with a good job, bad-*** car, own place, life in check, etc. We both came from similar backgrounds and we could relate to a lot of stuff despite our age difference (I was 18 at the time, he was 26. Now I am 19 and he is 27). I thought I found the perfect guy, so of course when he started showing he was interested in me, I was overjoyed. We made out, but suddenly things took a wrong turn. I was still a virgin, and he started wanting me to having sex with me pressuring me and threatening me that he wouldn't talk to me anymore if I wouldn't. Because I thought he cared about me, I slept with him and he was my first so obviously my feelings changed and I started to LIKE him. We did it once more before he stopped talking to me so I wondered where I went wrong and fell into a slump. I got out of it but suddenly he came back and started talking to me again. Of course I was pissed and asked him where he saw us going. He said he saw us more than friends but he wasn't ready to be in a relationship and that if I never wanted to see him again he would understand but if we did hang out he said he would want me. I was confused but thought it was okay. So I ended up talking and sleeping with him again. But this time it was different because his attitude has changed. He's not as much as a douchebag like before and he actually attempts to talk to me like he did before we had sex and treating me like a person. He's helped me with a lot of stuff emotionally and physically so he's obviously a part of my life. Now this is what I don't understand though. I asked him honestly if he ever saw us dating, and he told me yes, and when the time comes I would be the first choice out of the other girls he's seen. Yet I know for a fact he hooks up with other girls, so am I on the backburner or just a hookup? Plus he like takes long periods of time off after we hang out and suddenly pops up at the worst times to talk and see how its goin. I just need some advice please!
1 AnswerSingles & Dating9 years agoWhy has my period not started?
I hooked up with my guy about three weeks ago and he used protection (wearing a condom and it fit on him properly and didn't break or anything) and I wasn't on birth control. I've noticed that I haven't started my period yet (we've hooked up in the past without protection and it always started around the same time) but I have the symptoms not the actual period. I've been known to have irregular periods though (like not starting on time or skipping a month or two on its own) and I've gotten off birth control about two months ago (I've heard once you get off the pill your cycle has to readjust and cause stuff like this too happen) so I don't know what gives. As for pregnancy symptoms, I don't have any cravings, growing breasts, morning sickness, etc. so I'm just curious what's up and want some advice.
1 AnswerWomen's Health9 years agoWhat would you do in this type of situation?
I need some honest advice people.
I met this guy and he was so awesome and gentleman-like. I've been through a couple of bad relationships before and when I met him and we started talking, I felt a connection and started liking the kid. We flirted, we kissed, we made out and all the time he would say how gorgeous I was and said he could see us being more than friends. Suddenly out of nowhere he drops the bomb that he wants to get back with his ex and that he didn't mean to lead me on (even though he did) and then he goes backing saying that he DOES like me and I'm like WTF? I want to confront him about this but don't know where to start. I feel played and need some advice.
1 AnswerSingles & Dating9 years agoIs there a chance I could be pregnant?
Here's the deal.
I had sex with a guy in November without protection. I started my period that month and it wasn't different or anything I began and ended the time I was supposed to like I regularly do. Then I had sex again (no protection, yes I am a dumbass) in November, but in December I started my period for that month and again nothing was weird or changed. I feel different, but I know you can't be pregnant and have your period at the same time and this wasn't like regular blood it was actual period blood with clots and all (sorry for the graphic details). So is there any advice that could be given in this type of situation?
