I'm trying to help my husband out who seems to be a little freaked out about planning our baby shower, it's suppose to be a surprise but he confessed that he's having some trouble finding locations since he's not from the bronx and we tried googling the location with minimal results. Its seems we would get more information with word of mouth. So I would like to rent a place with a descent price range located in the bronx, N.Y. for a baby shower. I can then pass the list to him and he can go on his planning ways. I would really appreciate your help. Thanks

I'm worried because my cat was spayed about two weeks ago and her cut has not closed up completely and I don't know what to do. I don't want it to get infected and I don't think covering it up would make it heal faster. What should I do? When she laid on my bed I noticed a small stain from the cut. Any suggestions?

I worked in a law firm for almost nine months. I was doing my job and always there. I had good attendance and never had aproblem with any one about my work. The firm was expanding and all of a sudden on a friday I was called into a room with out recieving notice. I was being laid off. My bonus went out the window and no severence pay. I was paid only an extra week and that was that. They took this person that was there only 3 months with no legal experience to be in my position and they hired a paralegal. Then they said they could not afford to keep me. Is it me or was this legally wrong or at least a violation. I am depressed because at this time of year there arent really any good jobs as for what I am looking for. serious answers please. What are your opinions/advice.

I work in the legal field (I am not an attorney) I had several jobs in 3 law offices. My first job I resigned in 9 months of my employment. My second job I resigned in 8-9 months and I have 7 months at my current job . My resume speaks for itself, I have good experience but shows that I am not stable at one job. I really want to find a good firm to work for and make it a career starting off as an entry level paralegal. I am a hardworker and a quick learner. I am going to school to get certified as a paralegal. I am not happy at my current job because I over qualify for the position I took which is a receptionist. Its fustrating for me because I feel I can do more. I dont know if by looking now I am just wasting my time, plus this job doesnt have good benefits and there is favoritism at the office but not with me. I really need some advice I know employers would toss my resume if I were to start job hunting, I was thinking on waiting till January of 2007. What can I do to fix my resume?

She thinks her ex gave it to her. This is really important to me. I have been telling her to not worry about it. Any advice. Also she is still head over heals over her ex and is willing to do any thing to get him back. I dont want him to manipulate her knowing that she is in love with him. He treated her very nice in the beginning and was very romantic with her and even offered to marry her. They started to having problems he then started to sleep around and now he is just hurting her feelings telling her he doesnt deserve her but all he wants is sex. I never thought she would end up like this..I thought she was stronger then that. They been dating for like 15 months give or take. Just so you know we are all in our early 20's average 23 years of age. I am getting not to like this guy but what can I say. help
