I bought my notebook as a Windows Vista. I upgraded to Windows 7 about half a year ago. Yesterday, I had someone help me with the recovery process. The process went well but there are a few important things missing. Before doing the recovery, I was able to use the 'connect to a project' to connect my notebook to an external monitor but after the recovery, it doesn't work anymore. I can't even find the 'connect to a project' when I go to 'Personalize' at my desktop. What should I do? I tried finding answers through google and yahoo but couldn't find any. Please help. One more thing, when I tried to locate the file, a message pops-up, "Displayswitch.lnk is missing". Then, I went to 'Windows/System32/Displayswitch.exe' but it doesn't work. I tried opening it but it seems like the program doesn't even run/can't run at all. What must I do other than taking it to the store for repairs? Do I have to download some kind of driver for it to work? By the way, this notebook doesn't come with 'any' discs. PLEASE HELP!!! THANK YOU!

My computer was too slow and I did a FRESH recovery. I've by far installed everything I needed back into my computer but my internet is not showing at all! When I plugged in the ethernet, nothing works. I can't even find the "Local Area Connection" at the Network Connections folder. Please help. Thanks!

I checked on everything and the internet is working fine. How come my co-workers' computers can't go online? I mean, it has connection, you just can't surf the internet. Help!

Ok, yesterday, I heard something that I've never heard of. Someone at my work said that some tech person told him that there's a computer that can be switch back and forth from a PC to a Mac whenever one desire. Is there such a computer exist? 'cause I know that if IT DOES, it would have been known by now.

It had happened to me more than just once or twice. My sister normally stayed up really late and sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night, feeling like the room was shaking and told my sister. However, she said it was just me. Why do I do that?

At my place, I have a desktop and 2 laptops. The desktop and one of the laptops are windows xp and the other laptop is a vista. I have a DSL connection with a Netgear wireless router. The DSL modem is connected directly to the desktop, and the laptops are running off of the wireless router and I was wondering if I could share files between the three computers. I "already" tried using the wizard and it doesn't seem to work. The shared folders can only be seen in the computer that I setup the shared folders, NOT in the other computers. I've checked online for wireless sharing and it ALWAYS refer me to using wifi, which, I do not want to spent more money on buying EXTRA internet cards because wifi required me to do so. Is there any other way around? Please help me! Thanks so much in advance!
