ok, so Ive decided to start a life style change not a diet really because although once I lose the weight I wont be so strict but will not go back to my old eating habits, anyways, yesterday, I thought I ate a ton,had alot of veggies, but I put it all in my calorie counter and I only consumed 800 calories, then I got to thinking, I know im suppose to have about 1200-1500 calories a day, but if I eat lots of veggies, and i mean alot, like 2- 3 cups of raw veggies a day (not at once), and then im not hungry most of the day, so if I eat all those veggies, a little fruit, some chicken, and even a little peanut butter sometimes, and i normally eat a normal dinner, just not a ton because in not hungry, I only end up consuming 600-1500 calories a day (depending on what I eat that day), so my question is, is it realy that bad to only eat that many calories, its not like im starving myself, its just 2 cups of raw veggies only has like 50 calories.

ps. im not looking into this because I want to starve myself and me as skinny as a stick, I am just wondering and cant find anything online.

i adopted a 5 year old female tabby cat about 5 months ago from a shelter. the shelter is suppose to fix them, but after I adopted her, i came to find out the shelter has kinda a bad reputation, when I got her I was told she was vaccinated and had their rabie shots and was very healthy, i took her into the vet and gave them the records that the shelter gave me and she did not have her rabies and wasnt healthy at all, for adopting her I got a "free" check up and still paid $80 to get her healthy, so anyways, I was also told she was fixed, and 2 months ago I rescued a male cat who is not nuetered and both cats are indoor/outdoor, and today my female walks past me and I notice she has quite the round tummy from the top veiw, i grabbed her and looked at her and its quite firm also and I cant find a scar on her belly to prove shes been fixed, i thought maybe worms, but could they cause a firm belly, and her poo is coming out clean, no worms in it, so could she be pregnant, how else could I tell, and please dont say "take her to the vet" because if it doesnt go down by next week I am taking her in to be checked.

I have a 7 1/2 year old leopard gecko who I have had since it was only 3 inches long, so git it when it was about a month or so old so im not new to the whole taking care of geckos thing, well I went to the pet store lastnight because I needed a new cage because my kids broke mine, well They had about 5 or 6 juvinille leopard geckos their and there were 2 that I just fell absolutly in love with, so my mom desided that since my sons birthday is next week she would buy them for him, now the problem is I have a male (I honestly thought it was a girl until today haha becaus when it was a baby, I checked and it looked like a girl, so I just assumed thats what it was, turns out they all look like girls as babies, and with these new ones I was looking up stuff and for some reason desided to check and sure as heck mines a male) and I definetly dont want any more babies and the little ones are to young to determin the gender, I know eventualy they will need to be seperated, but right now they are all housed together and are getting along, but what I want to know is a age will I beable to tell the gender and at what age do they his maturity to where if the babies are female they will be able to breed, and if there males when will they start not getting along. im sure ill have to have my husband build a 3 section cage so they wont be together, unless both babies are female then Ill only need a 2 section cage, but I want to know how soon ill have to havebabcage like that.

I have been finding a couple carpenter ants in my house everyday for about a week, well today, between me and my husband, we found and killed about 20, we just got tons of rain, like more then we have ever had, and that caused my house to leak so im sure the ants desided that that was a good time to start a ne colony, i dont know if its in or under my house, but i want to solve the problem before it gets worse, so if anyone knows about what it will cost me to hire an exterminator, please let me know, and I live in montana if that helps

I just got 2 boy guinea pigs 1 1/2 days ago, and need a good shopping list of veggies to buy them. i already got them Romain lettuce, carrots, cucumber, celery, broccoli, and green bell pepper, but they would only eat the lettuce, a little celery, a little carrot, and a tiny bit of broccoli, they realy didnt eat much of any of it, so what other veggies might they like?

my 22 month old hated his diaper, and would always hide in corners and take it off, well I always just put them back on over and over again, well then he started taking them off and then poopin on them which told me he knows when he has to go. so a week ago I started potty training him, which to my suprise realy wasnt going to well, I just put undies on him, and he peed alot in the toilet but still went in his undies, and only pooed in them, well I did some research and descovered the naked method where they run around all day naked from the waist down (only while we are at home of course though) so that way they dont get confused, because at that age, undies are no diffrent then a diaper, its something that goes over their butt that they can poo and pee in, well after a week of pretty much no improvement, today I desided to start this method on my son (who wil be 23 months in a week) so I did it, and he had 2 potty accident and 2 poop accidents today, but with the 2nd poop, it got all over him and he stepped in it (Iwas making dinner at the time so I didnt catch it right away) well with it on his fooy, it almost devistated him, he started crying and saying yucky. so I sat him on the potty to clean him up and told him if he had to go more to go in the poitty, so i go get a rag, come back and he is standing there mesmerized at his potty, so I look and he pooped in it (for the first time) I actualy have hope again that he infact is ready to be potty trained, he swent 6 1?2 hours today with no accidents.

Has nayone else had great success using this method, how old were your kids when they potty trained this way/

do you realy think the world is actualy going to end? In my opinion its a bunch of crap. the whole thing is based on a bunch of what if's. Like the myan(sp?) calander ending in 2012. That just means its they end of a cycle and to them thats a good thing, it doent mean the world will end, and all that is suppose to happen is the earth, a black whole and i think the sun are suppose to aline, and cause a pressure change which happens once every 20,000 years and since people have been on earth for 200,000 years so obviousely this wont kill people cause if it would man would have been extinct a long time ago. But im not tryin to make anyone mad but I am curiose on other peoples opinions on this subject?

I just put some baby powder on it, what else could I put on it to help it?

So i had a hangnail yesterday and i pulled it out. And now its infected and has pus in it. Should i pop it or leave it. And if i do pop it, how can i do it without poking myself with a needle, i absolutly hate needles. Thanks for any help.
