  • Benjarong With Pictures of King Rama V (Chulalongkorn)?

I saw some pictures of some Benjarong pottery with King Rama V, the Queen and Crown Prince Vajirunhis (prior to the prince's death).

It had the Phra Kiao logo on the lid and a gold signature on the bottom in very old style thai.

    Their pose seams unusually relaxed

I can't find anymore pictures or explanations of it, even checking museums - is something like this unique to the extent there are no other details on it?

  • Getting a yellow spot out of a cotton Coldwater creek sweater?

I'm washing my winter clothing before I store it for the summer and I have a white Coldwater Creek sweater that I really like; however, it has a small visible yellow spot (penny sized) on the front.

It won't come out in the normal wash and the care tag says not to use bleach.

Is it possible to get the spot out or should I just throw it away?

(I think it's mustard, not sure though ;-)

    I appreciate any answers.

  • Uninsured? tough luck you alcoholic pigs?

(CNN) - Dick Armey, the former House majority leader whose leadership of FreedomWorks has proved vital to organizing opposition to Democrats' health care reform efforts

""Now [the government] comes along and says, 'Irrespective of the fact they've gone 20, 30, 40 years of their adult life without ever having bought insurance prior to getting a liver inflammation due to their excessive drinking habits or diabetes because they eat like a pig, you must now insure them,'" Armey said."

Clearly uninsured children and others made a choice not to buy health insurance because they wanted to spend all their money getting drunk and stuffing their faces with double cheeseburgers and twinkies.

People without insurance are clearly bad people that don't deserve medical treatment.

I'm all for intelligent debate, but how can people support this contemptuous and elitist attitude toward others?

  • WWII Simulation for person 79 years old?

I have a friend that is a retired military history teacher.

He is incredibly intelligent and mentally capable - no "twitch" factor though in terms of being able to play a FPS or anything that requires rapid response to stimuli.

I was thinking something turn based, realistic in terms of historical accuracy, capable of Multiplayer via the net (1v1 is fine), and fun.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

  • Yahoo - what is the "m.yahoo.com" and why?

I'm logging on and being forced to a Yahoo page with a different layout/look with a "m" preceding yahoo.com.

I'm fine with the old layout and have no desire to deal with a new one.

There was an option to "use classic Yahoo", but it is no longer there.

From my perspective, there is no enhanced functionality associated with it, it's just "more zippy" for lack of a better term.

Does anyone know where I can find a selection to click or unclick so I don't have to deal with the random switch from one to the other?

  • Hyperinflation in the US?

An economist suggested that the inevitable result of current US fiscal policy is hyperinflation.

Accepting that is true, how does a person prepare for hyperinflation?

    Foreign Currency?

    Precious Metals?

  • Why should it be legal to own an assault weapon?

I know what the Constitution says and I also know that the people that wrote it had no idea that black powder muskets would turn into mass produced AK-47s with extended magazines and readily available military grade ammunition.

I've also heard the "so I can defend myself from the government" argument, which is really silly because no matter how many assault rifles you or your group have, you're not going to last very long against a company, let alone a brigade of Rangers or Marines. In addition, the days when citizens could rise up in armed revolution against the government passed with the creation of the airplane and tank.

So, if we agree to disagree with the right to own any firearm available because it's in the Constitution and we accept that having assault weapons isn't enough to fight the US military, why should it be legal, why does anyone need to own an assault weapon?

  • Final Decree of Divorce 08/08 - File as Single or Married?

My divorce was final in August of 2008.

Here is the paragraph from the IRS Publication 504:

Ummarried persons: You are unmarried of the whole year if either of the following applies:

You have obtained a final decree of divorce or separate maintenance by the last day of your tax year.

I can read, but just to make absolutely sure (does not mess with the IRS) - the tax year is 2008 and, since the divorce was final before the last day of 2008 - I file as single - correct?

    Thank you

  • Cleaning Suede Furniture (professional and self) ?

I have a suede sofa and love seat. They're a year and a half old and are kind of dirty - not stained or anything, just a bit off.

I received a cleaning kit for stains when I bought them, but the entire surface areas really need cleaned.

Is this something I should have done professionally or is there some kind of large scale cleaner that I can use without damaging them?

They're light colored - kind of a cream.

    Thank you

It is also for a woman, if that matters or there is specific gear for women.

  • Removing the CPU fan from an Intel Motherboard?

I don't have the specific specs of the board. The fan is attached directly on top of the processor and has two plastic levers that snap down. (I'm trying to take it off to clean it).

I moved the levers and it releases, but it doesn't pull off or anything.

Does anyone know if it slides a certain direction or if there is something else I need to disconnect to get it off?

  • Are Christians More Likely to Judge Others as "Wrong"?

Granted I haven't been looking at answers for very long; however, it seems like the "thumbs down" responses are a lot more frequent on answers related to Christianity. Even those answers that are fairly "neutral".

Do you think that it's just a function of peoples' passion as it relates to religion or that there is a greater tendency to judge others/find other peoples' beliefs "wrong" amongst those that describe themselves as Christian.
