My gf is being stationed in Germany and am exploring my options as unmarried/no benefit relationship. There are some decent jobs on base and living in Europe does sound like fun. However do I need to get a work visa if im working on an AFB? My gf will be living off base and I with her so I would not have to worry about a resident visa yes? Anybody know a thing or two about this? Learning German to obtain a work visa seems rather challenging.

I am considering opening a Roth IRA with Vanguard. Does anyone know if I have to setup X amount automatically each month or can I add to it as I see fit in case one month my transmission goes out and cant afford to contribute that month?

So apparently Survivor is back on track, I guess 11 years is the proper waiting period for a hollywood movie to have plane hijacking since 9/11. Um, Invisible Monsters, Haunted and Snuff are also apparently in the works. I am a huge Chuck Palahniuk fan but after seeing Choke as a film I am a bit apprehensive about some of my more favorite works of his going to the big screen. Invisible Monsters could potentially be amazing, and I did love Rant, but again, who knows. Anyone have any information that would suggest these won't be flops and be a huge cult hit like Fight Club? And was Fight Club only good cause of the actors, in your opinion?

I'm at the point of buying furniture for my new place and really want a King size bed. I see some Furniture places on craigslist sell beds at factory outlet places in town. The names of the beds are all brands I have never heard of though. Im no expert in bed names but I mean brands Like Sealy, Serta, Simmons, Tempur-Pedic etc.? Or are beds like big screen tv's? Meaning Sony and Panasonic also make those smaller off brand televisions just under a different name? ANy help would be greatly apprecieated.

So I want to have a lot of laughs at work with the guys so I wanna light my fart on fire. Any tips ? I know it can work through denim but I want a nice fireball. I'm doing some workouts from Rescue Athlete.com and one of the workouts is a 600m swim using leading arm-trailing arm technique. Can any swimmers out there explain this for me please, I Google searched it but keep finding drive suspension for cars. Thanks

Some friends and I went out to have some drinks and we took my car. I drove to the bar. While walking out i said im too drunk and asked my friend to drive me home, he had not been drinking. On the way home he ran over a monster curb and messed up my car, about $1000 bucks worth of damage. Now yes it my car and he was doing me a favor by driving my drunk *** home and could have very well been worse if i drove. I feel bad having to ask him to help pay as he feels bad too but cannot afford a 50/50 split. Should he even be helping pay? What do you think is fair? I pay it all since i asked him to drive? What would yall do?

It rained like a some b*ch recently where I live and I drove through some big puddles in my neighboorhood. My ford focus stalled out. I restarted it and drove it back home and called into work since i couldnt safely leave my neighboorhood. The car still runs, is sluggish to get above 30 but is fine after that. I even get on the freeway and its slow to get up to 50 but after 50mph its good. Is this a sign of my catalytic converter rapidly cooled down and messed it up or are there other potential parts that got messed up in the proccess?

A place where you dress up, suit at least and you eat and drink but there is a singer with a piano and or band but play sinatra type music, i guess classic pop/lounge/ big band ? Martini Bar? I have no idea i just thought it would be fun to go to a place like that, that 50/60's style night life. Is it called anything specific?
