So, I've never had trouble with going to certain modes on my TV before, but we just recently got DISH, and I think when they installed it, they locked my input "video" channel. My mom just bought me a Wii today and when I went to play it, I went to "video" and the message: "Restricted program by channel lock" showed up.

I've tried Googling, but I constantly just get stuff about parental locks, which this obviously is not. PLEASE HELP?

This is probably a long shot, but I'm gonna ask this anyway, since I know there are still some smart people out there on YA!

So, a couple months ago, my phone battery started dying a lot faster than usual. I got an app to increase battery power length, but I think I just kept that to make myself feel better; it didn't really make any difference.

A few weeks after that, only certain USB cords would allow me to connect my phone to my computer and just recently, only one charger would work on my phone. Today, I got one last full charge out of my phone. It died when I got home, so I put it on the charger, but after about two seconds, it went out.

I continued trying this in different positions and in different wall sockets, but it would only last a few seconds before completely blacking out. At one point, the droid icon appeared and it said it was downloading something? But that went away, too.

Now it's completely dead. No matter where I plug it in, it does nothing. I have tried taking the battery back in and out - nothing. I've blown on and cleaned with a Qtip (as best I could) the part the charger goes into, but nothing.

I was just wondering...is it the battery? Is it the charger? Is it where I plug the charger into the phone? Is there ANY way I can fix this on my own? My phone doesn't have a warranty, and I don't exactly have the money for a new battery or phone right now.

I have a Samsung Stratosphere from Verizon, if that makes any difference. Full kindness to those who can help. :]

EXAMPLES: If the paper had the word "CHEESE" on it in huge letters, the answer would be: Big cheese.

Or if the entire paper was covered many times with the word "wet", the answer would be: All wet.

Or if the letters "T O U C H" went down the middle of the page, the answer would be: Touchdown.

Is there a name for these kinds of puzzles? I'd really like to look some up. Thanks in advance!

Okay, so about a week ago, I went had an orientation at McDonalds, which basically just involved a lot of paperwork and me getting my uniform. Then, just yesterday, my new boss called to tell me my schedule for this week.

And I know it's stupid, but I'm mostly just wondering what's the first thing I should do? I've heard a lot of different angles, but I'm pretty sure I've decided to wear my uniform to work, instead of changing there. But I'm not sure - am I supposed to come through the front door or the back door?

I know it's a stupid thing to worry about, but this is my first job ever and I'm terrified of doing something stupid. Recent experience will make me a whole lot happier, but anyone's welcome to share their opinions, thanks!

So, me and my friend were discussing Buzz Lightyear [that's right :P] and he claimed Buzz wasn't a real name. I tried to prove him wrong by mentioning a few other characters from other movies and books, but he said if they were fictional, it didn't count as a real name.

So, in attempt to prove him wrong again, I ask this question. Also, if it turns out there IS someone with the real name Buzz [and I'm certain there is], do you know if it's short for anything?

Thinking about going to the Owl City concert this Friday and it's kinda spur of the moment [for me, anyway], so I need to make a decision quickly.

The only other concerts I've ever been to were Jonas Brothers concerts [please don't poke fun], so I'm just wondering how much different an Owl City concert would be.

I got an e-mail from someone who asked me to fax them something no later than Monday, but I won't be able to do so TILL Monday - so I'm just making sure "no later than" means on or before said date?

I got this old board game called, "Noteability - the name the song game" from a flea market today; but unfortunately, the game came with everything BUT the instructions.

I went to Google and was told the instructions are on the bottom of the box - and they are, I think - but they're very..simplified. It has the basic point of the game but doesn't have anything like scoring or how someone wins or anything.

If you could help me find a site with the game directions, I'd be very grateful! :]

I was wondering if I could have a list of the songs the couples on Dancing With the Stars performed to tonight (04/11/11). I love classical music but I'm lousy when it comes to knowing the names of the particular pieces. Thanks!
