Please help!! I am having a difficult time finding much info on what the D-scale was used for/ what type of person it was used on

I want to purchase the Norton Security 2008. I noticed they have a 3-user (computers) software. My parents want one for their computer and I would like one for mine but we don't they live together in the same house. Can I install the software on their computer at their house first then install it on mine at my apartment?

I purchased Microsoft Works 2006 for the computer I had at that time (which was my parents computer). I now have my own computer and when I tried installing it, A screen comes up saying I need to activate it. When I do, a box comes up saying it is already activated on another computer. Is there anyway possible to install it or do I have to go spend money on other copy? Please help, I need this program for school!!

I just purchased a gateway,(amd athlon processor) w/ the Vista edition. I have Microsoft Works 2006. Is this compatible w/ Vista? I might have to purchase the Home & student 2007 edition if this doesn't work but I read that one of the system requirements is it needs an intel processor. It also doesn't say if its compatible w/ Vista. Please help, I need these programs for school!!! Help is appreciated! ;)

I notice if I put my computer in hibernate mode and come back later, a message comes up saying it had to shutdown unexpectedly and gives me 3 options of starting in safe mode or normal mode. Why is it doing this? It came installed w/ Windows Vista and I added Windows Works, could this be a conflict? Help, I don't know if I need to return this computer!

I don't know why it's popping up when I turn on my computer (during startup). Is it an error or is it normal??

I recently purchased a GT5648E (Gatweway -6000) at Best Buy. It has an AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 dual-core processor 6000+, w/ 3gb system drive, and 320 gb hard drive. My question is will 320 gb hard drive space be enough storage on my system? I do alot of multi-tasking, downloading videos and music as well as photos. Please help!! Also is the processor a good one compared to a intel dual core?

I just moved into my apartment and the thermostat has 3 settings; fan, auto, and cool. It has been on the 'cool' setting and never shuts off unless I adjust the temperature up. Is it more efficient to set it to 'auto'? Also what is the difference between all 3?
