It's a little technique that I have mentioned to the Yahoo! Answers team and they do not see it as a problem.

Basically if a question does not have a best answer selected by the submitter then it goes for voting. Most people don't seem to vote so occasionally I go through my answers and vote my answer as the best one.

It's easy to find which answer it is as a little pop up over the rating thumbs shows you which is yours.

Is this wrong or just good tactics? I've got a best answer rating of over 30% and just got 110 points in 5 minutes. I have to tell you that my conscience is clear.

Besides I genuinely think my answers were the best. I even voted someone elses answer as being better than mine a few times!

A recent study has shown that some people who are in a Persistant Vegetative State are still conscious and able to form coherent thought. This potentially adds a new dimension to discussions about euthanasia.

Personally it scares the willies off me to think that I could be kept alive fully aware of my surroundings yet trapped in my own body, unable to express myself to those around me.

What are other peoples thoughts on this new revelation?

As people age their reflexes, eyesight, coordination, etc deteriorate. This can affect their ability to control a motor vehicle. However, in the UK there is no gauge for a persons ability to drive a motor vehicle once they have passed their test.

Should older people have to take a competency test (not a full UK license test, just 10 minutes with an instructor to prove that they are capable of handling a motor vehicle) once they reach a certain age? And what should that age be?

FYI I am currently 31 years old.

Think about the physics of this. The tongue scrapers are located on the end of the brush on the opposide side to the bristles. When you wish to scrape your tongue you don't want to scrape the tip of the tongue, you want to scrape the whole top of the tongue. This means sticking the toothbrush in your mouth so that the bristles are scraping the roof of your mouth. This always makes me wretch. I gave up on the idea after 3 days.

I don't disagree with the benefits of a clean tongue, just the concept of a toothbrush based product.

Am I doing something wrong? Instructions were not provided. I'm not worshiped by the ladies as my tongue skills do not "extend" that far so sticking a toothbrush down my throat is the only way I can think to use the darned thing.

I've asked 2 questions so far and have received a number of responses which is great. However, there is one chap called 'harry' who has simply responded 'NO' to both questions. Now I'm kinda curious to know why. Well harry? Got anything to say?

Ethical dilemma time. If by killing one person you could save hundreds, thousands, or maybe just one that you care about, could you do it?

I have seen people do this and have done it myself. Whenever the remote control doesn't work we remove the batteries, rub them in our hands for a minute, and pop them back in. Does this give them some more charge or release a charge held in them? What are the physics of this? Who did it first and why?
