36 yr old white male; married father of 3. I am a christian. That doesn't mean I want to beat you with my religion or hear you babble about your pagan/atheist beliefs. It means I worship Jesus Christ as Lord and if I answer a question it will come as directly from Christ's teachings as possible. I'm not perfect, I'm just living under the grace of God.

  • If you're from Ft. Hood, does it mean anything to you that every muslim in the country wants your sympathy?

I'm 1500 miles away from Texas, so I would not presume to know how people there feel. I'm just really curious if those that lost loved ones really care that muslims are screaming "poor me" because they don't want to be associated with another mass killing perpetrated by one of their own?

  • Anyone give me a guess at the value of these shotguns?

I recently inherited a couple of shotguns. I'd never sell them because of who they belonged to. But, for insurance purposes, I need to figure out a ball park estimate of their value.

One is a Remington 11-48 12 guage semi auto.

the other is Savage model 30 series E 20 gauge pump.

    Anyone give me a guess?

  • Where's the "redistribution of Wealth?"?

Why do the Obama's feel that public schools in D.C. aren't good enough for their daughters but, Barry still opposes giving school choice to disadvantaged families? Are liberals about to see their knight in shining armor for the poor turn out to be just another elitist? Will people in under performing school systems be broken hearted when they realize that Osamabama has sold out their "hope" and "change" to the NEA (NEA= teacher's union)?

Shouldn't Nobama offer the same options to poor kids that their kids have? After all, that is what "redistribution of wealth" is about.

  • Shouldn't the finger pointing be the other way?

Why do the liberals on here think the only way McCain can win is if the GOP "steals" the election? The only voter fraud I'm seeing in the media is ACORN and they are all voting Obama? Is Obama's platform enough to get him elected without ACORN registering the starting line up of the Dallas Cowboys?

I have three healthy children. Doctors wanted my wife to abort two of them because "the mother's health was in danger." My wife is fine and the kids are beautiful.

  • Why a double standard in voting?

Why do I keep reading in the media that whites are racists if they vote for Mccain but, nobody is talking about blacks are racists if they vote for Obama?

She claims it will be a priority to get rid of this treaty. I'm curious, who was the U.S. president that signed this treaty in the first place?

My brother and I are inheriting a parcel of land from our late father's estate. My brother wants to buy my share from me. We are negotiating a price. What is required legally?

Do we have to have a closing like buying a house? Can I just sign away might rights to the title and deed? Do we need to go through the process of a survey and appraisal?

  • Why do Patriot fans think people are only talking about this year when they say the Pats cheat?

Have you forgotten the convicted felon with the snow blower? The Pats have a long history or dirty deeds.

For those of you too young to remember, Miami was playing the Patriots in Foxboro. There was several inches of snow on the ground. Neither team could even get a field goal attempt off because of the conditions. With time running out, New England had a grounds keeper dart across the field on a tractor equipped with a snow blower. He brushed off a strip across the field where the ball would be planted on the snap. New England kicked a field goal and won the game 3-0.

  • Why is the ground on top?

I recently moved to Ohio. I've noticed that electrical outlets with three prong holes seem to be positioned with the ground on top. That's the opposite of the other states I've lived in. Why does Ohio do this? It doesn't really matter. It just seems curious to me.

  • Why Don't railfans show some respect?

I was just promoted to RFE. My first day on the job I had to go out and download a train that had run through a red signal. It broke my heart to have to take another engineers license from him.

All the while, two railfans were standing nearby snapping pictures like they had never seen a train before. They approached another RFE and asked how long the train would be there. He explained to them that the train had gotten through the signal and the crew was being relieved.

If it had been me seeing a man getting fired, I would have gotten in my truck and left so as not to be party to something so humiliating. But, these two jerks kept right on snapping pictures.

Are these pics of engines really so important to railfans that you'd want to further humiliate an engineer that just lost his job?

Why not be more respectful and go get some lunch while you wait for a relief crew to move the train?

  • I need help with a couple of rules questions?

I know (or have been told) that by rules you're not supposed to do ANYTHING to improve your lie. Recently I was playing with friends at a local course. We had no idea when we started how bad the conditions were. From the tee box things appeared to be fine. But, when I teed off, the ball hit and literally sank so deep into the fairway that the logo on the ball could barely be seen and no part of the ball was above ground. Now, can I pull that ball up out of the mud? Do I take a penalty for doing so? And can I put down a marker (though the 3 inch hole was pretty well marking the spot) like a green and clean the mud off my ball? Is the ball lost?

This isn't like hitting it into a water hazard where it's just plain lost. And it's not like hitting it out of a bunker where the sand makes it tricky. This is the ball hitting in the middle of the fairway where the ground is so soft that a 150 yard tee shot hits and sinks literally 2-3 inches into the mud and is about 95% covered up

  • Can I sue the government over this?

Yesterday I was on the golf course. While walking, I tripped over a rock, fell down and scraped my knee. I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't have tripped except for the sweat in my eyes kept me from seeing where I was going. I wasn't sweating because it's was 73 degrees and I was walking the golf course. No, I'm sure I was sweating because of global warming. Because 15 years ago, I didn't sweat until at least mid-June.

So, is this George W. Bush's fault that I was sweating? And isn't there some government program that should pay for my round of golf, a sweat band and some new golf pants(the old one have a hole in the knee now) since I was injured do to no fault of my own (except for the fact that I didn't stop and wipe the sweat out of my eyes)?

I should be do something for pain and suffering too. I might not ever be able to work again. That knee could be ruined for life. Don't I deserve a government pension and to stay out here on the golf course instead of working?

  • Do I need a 4H?

I'm getting ready to buy a new set of irons that are Taylormade 5-pw. I have a cheap 4H that I carry now instead of a 3i or 4i. It's an Knight Tec Plus 22 degree.

The question is should I be carrying a 3i and 4i or the 4h? And if I buy the Taylormade irons should I upgrade to the Taylormade 4h? Or being relatively new to the game, just go with the 5-pw and forget about the others?

  • Do I really need a sand wedge?

I've played about a dozen times so far with clubs a buddy gave me. I'm getting ready to buy a new set of irons. So far, I've only been in a bunker about 3 times. Each time I've managed to get out fairly easily with a pitching wedge. Is it really worth the money to buy a sand wedge for the traps?

  • Which irons should I buy?

I've been looking for a set of irons. There's so much to choose from it's almost overwhelming. I think I have the decision down to two sets. Adams or Taylormade.

The Adams Extreme II, 3-pw, sw, lw. I have never used a sw or lw. And I quit carrying 3i and 4i in my bag since I bought a 4H. They are $200.

The Taylormade set is rac HT 5-pw. I can get the optional sw for another $50. I already have a 4H but, can pick up the matching Taylormade Hybrids for about $100 a piece. This set is $230.

I'm a beginner for the most part. I've only played about a dozen times. I've got a bag, driver and putter besides the hybrid.

The question is which set of irons would last longer, give more consistant feel and be more valuable in the long run?

I'm not really concerned about showing off a brand name in my bag. Just want to enjoy the game.

  • Kerry Wood is hurt again?

This time he fell getting out of a hot tub at home. I have been a fan of Wood since his beginnings with the Cubs. But, I'm a Cub fan first. Isn't it time to let him go if we aren't going to get a complete season out of him for all his injuries? Remember at one point last year, they told him the pain in his shoulder was in his head. Should he be traded after this last injury? (The team says he'll only be out a couple of extra days due to the fall. But, when is enough enough?)

  • I'm just starting out and looking at some clubs?

I've been using a set that a buddy gave me which are nearly as old as I am. I've been checking out a couple of inexpensive sets and I thought I had a great set of irons picked out. They are graphite shaft. I've never hit graphite shaft irons. I asked the sales man who said graphite shafts were a poor choice in irons unless you're a woman or a senior male. What do you guys think? Distance? Accuracy?
