Romans 1:22
Question for the old earth crowd.........?
A. Since we know the half life decay of the earth's magnetic field is very constant at 1400 years &
B. If you take that back 10,000 years the earths magnetic field would equal that of a magnetic star,
C. And if that was the case it would actually rip the iron from our blood,
D. And if it was taken back 20,000 years, the field would melt the earth, then
Question: How do you explain/justify the earth being millions of years old? Please back up your answers with facts and not conjecture.
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIf extreme cold temperatures are the result of "global warming"...?
how do we know for sure that the record heat we had last year is not the result of "global cooling"?

11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWould you be willing to die for something that you know is a lie?
What I am referring to is the Disciples of Jesus. We know that when Jesus was arrested, they scattered and went into hiding. Peter denied knowing Him three times the morning of His arrest. They were scared to death of suffering the same fate as Jesus. Yet after the resurrection and gift of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, they became soooo emboldened that they went out into the world to preach the Gospel of Christ's life, death, and resurrection. All were persecuted and 11 of the 12 were martyred for their beliefs. (only John died of natural causes and there were reports that he had been boiled in oil but survived the ordeal). So, what I am asking is: why were they so willing to die horrific deaths for what the athiests say is a lie, and would you be willing to suffer the same fate rather than just admit the lie and go free?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoAtheists, can you give me a personal, real life example?
of a Christian shoving their religion down your throat? I always see people stating this but I have never personally witnessed it. The experiences I have seen are that when a non believer states they don't want to talk about God or religion they are then left alone and not forced to do or listen to anything that they don't want to be a part of. I know none of you want to be "judged" by a Christian but I'm sorry, someone simply stating something is wrong is not judgment and it is also not shoving religion down your throat. Please, don't try and use the example of David Koresh or Jim Jones as they were cults and NOT Christian groups.
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoAtheists, do you know what was the first thing man did on the Moon?
When the Eagle lunar module landed on the moon, the first thing Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin did was have Holy Communion. Turns out they were both Christians. Does this bother you as an atheist, being they were both scientists and technically worked for the US government, and were performing government work?
28 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoA question for the atheists...(fairly long question)?
Why do you hate Christians and Christianity so much? We don't hate you for your beliefs or lack there of. Sorry, but i can't accept the standard "because Christianity has done so much evil, killing, etc". If someone kills or does evil he is sinning and is in direct conflict with the teachings of Jesus Christ, so lean close because i have a secret for you.....they are NOT living the Christian life.
The other argument that they are living a fairy tale does not warrant the hatred that seem to have. If we are wrong (and I believe with my whole heart that we are right), the worse thing we have done is live a better life because of our beliefs. But, if we are right.....then all the non believers in the world are going to be in for a HUGE shock and eternal suffering that is totally needless.
31 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIf investing / the stock market is a zero sum game.....?
Can someone explain that concept in the following example. Trader 1 buys Stock A at $10 and sells it to Trader 2 at $15. Trader 2 sells Stock A at $22 to Trader 3, who in turn sells it for $25. Who lost money in this scenario. My contention is it is not a zero sum game as there is a historical upward bias in the market. (yes, i understand stocks go down as well, but historically the Dow has gone from 74.10 in 1916 to 12795 in 2007, easily proving this upward bias)
