I have moved some messages from my Yahoo inbox on my iPhone to another folder where I wanted to save the messages. However, the messages haven't appeared there, but have vanished from my inbox.

  • What can I send from the UK to a friend in Australia?

My best friend lives in Australia and I wanted to send her something out for Christmas, but I can't think of anything to send that's not going to cost a fortune to ship. Any ideas of something that might remind her of home, that isn't breakable and that doesn't weight a ton?!

  • Anxiety seperation in toddler - HELP!?

Apologies in advance – it’s going to be a long one!

My son slept through from 9 weeks old and has always been a good sleeper unless he’s teething or ill, when he’s very needy in the night. He’s now 14 months old and 8 weeks ago I came back to work. I work 3 days a week and he spends 2 days at our home with my mum, and 1 day in nursery where he cries when I drop him off and again when I pick him up. Since then he’s barely slept through. Occasionally he’ll wake in the night and then settles himself but more often than not, he’ll need comforting. The problem is that he’ll usually only be calmed down by me, and if anyone else tries it just gets him more upset. Sometimes he’ll lay on me completely calm and even asleep but the minute I put him down he gets upset again.

I’ve tried controlled crying when I’ve had problems in the past but it seems cruel doing it to him now as I’m sure he’s just scared that I’m not there anymore.

The problem is I’ve started to get into bad habits, like putting him into bed with us. When I’ve got work the next day, it’s just so much easier than spending hours in his room trying to settle him. I don’t want him to sleep with us but I’m just so tired it often seems like the easy option. It’s also affecting his entire routine. Sometimes he’ll sleep in really late in the morning and other times he’ll end up having enormous morning naps – seriously, sometimes it’s 3 hours and he’s still tired in the afternoon.

Last night he ended up in bed with us again and I think I only managed to get about two and a half hours sleep. I’m exhausted, shaking, dizzy, can’t concentrate and have already burst into tears in front of two of my colleagues today and I’m eating more to try and keep my energy up. It’s affecting my ability to do my job, my relationship with my partner as we’re both permanently exhausted and arguing about the best way to deal with it. It’s even affecting my relationship with my son as he’s either too tired to do anything or sleeping for hours so we don’t have time to do anything. I miss him so much when I’m at work and I just want our days off together to be fun. I really wouldn’t be at work unless I had to be here – I would much rather be a stay-at-home mum and it breaks my heart every time I leave him but we just can’t afford for me to be at home with him. There hasn’t been a week gone by when I haven’t cried when I’ve left him on a Monday or when I’ve dropped him off at nursery. I hate my situation but I know it would be so much easier to deal with if I wasn’t so tired all the time.

I just need some help – how can I get him to sleep through again? In his cot?? I feel so depressed and I’m really struggling to cope. I hate the thought of him feeling sad or insecure and I feel so guilty that it’s my fault and every day is such a struggle.

  • Are these Links of London charms fake?

Asked this question a while ago and people asked me to post a link to the site, but the questions was closed before I got a chance to do it.

Basically I wanted to buy some new Links of London charms and I found a site online which sells them really cheaply and I just wondered how they managed to do this. Are the charms fake?

This is the site I was looking at:

  • Going back to work and need easy meal ideas for my toddler.?

Basically I've just started back at work and I have enough home-made freezer meals to last to the end of the week, but don't have time to restock the freezer now I'm back at work, so I need ideas for quick, easy and healthy meals that I can prepare for my 1 year old when I get home from work.

I can only think of jacket potatoes, omlettes, pasta and things like that at the moment, but want him to have more variety!

  • What can I feed my 10 month old that doesn't take long to make?

At the moment I batch cook food for him (shepherd's pie, spag bol, cauliflower cheese, etc) and then freeze it, so I always have him healthy meals ready. I've just restocked my freezer but want to make it last a bit longer, so was thinking I could use the frozen meals for his dinner and give him something freshly made for lunch, but not sure what I can give him that doesn't take too long to make. He'll be getting into trouble within seconds!! I sometimes do him an omlette, jacket potato or cheese on toast, but need some other ideas of quick, healthy lunch.

  • Where can I get childrens pop up toy from?

They used to be really popular but can't seem to find them anywhere now. I want one of the plastic toys that's got maybe 4 or 5 buttons that you press and then when you press them an animal or something pops up.

  • What's this film called?

Was advertised in the cinemas in the UK probably about 9-12 months ago. Was set in a mental asylum which I think was on an island. Someone went to the asylum to investigate something and it basically all goes a bit wrong. Looked quite scary and has quite a famous male actor in it but can't remember who! The vaguest description of a film ever I think!!!

  • Any ideas where to buy maternity work shirts?

I'm almost 18 weeks pregnant and just getting to that point where my normal clothes are starting to feel really uncomfortable and look far too tight! I've managed to get jeans, casual clothes and even work trousers, but I'm really struggling to find work shirts. Any ideas? I don't want to spend a fortune, but still need to look fairly smart for work. I've tried New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Hennes and Next, which I thought would definitely have them, but no such luck. Am completely stuck now. HELP!!

  • Do I need to replace boiler, or can it be repaired?

    I have a Potterton Lynx 2 bolier.

Pressure indictor on the bolier was in the red zone (below 1 bar), however appeared to function fine and no "low pressure" light was switched on. Upstairs radiators however only heated about half way up, and when attempted to bleed no pressure in the readitors. As such re-pressured bolier and bled radiators fine.

Ever since doing this the bolier has had a fault. Starts up fine on timed central heating settings, however after an hour or so stops working. If you turn down the thermostat and turn back up again the boilier fires into life, however, again after an hour it turns off again.

Additionally in the mornings we no longer get the level of hot water needed.

Is there a simple fault i need to fix, as generaly boiler seems to work fine apart from shutting down after an hour.

  • Meals that can be made in advance?

I've got into the habit of making a meal on a Sunday that can be kept in the fridge until one night in the week when I don't have time to cook, then I can just bung it in the oven and I've got a healthy dinner with minimal effort. Does anyone have any good recipes for something that will keep in the fridge for a few days and just needs heating in the oven?

Any recommendations for books about women in history, particularly women in war. Also, books where a man might usually be a central character, but taken from a woman's point of view instead.

  • How to print a photobook at home?

I'm trying to design a photobook however I need to do it quickly and the company I was ordering it from can't get it ready in time. So I thought I could do it at home. I have a good printer and photo paper, however I don't know how to arrange page design on my PC. Does anyone know if there is a programme I can download to do this? Or is there any way I can do it with the standard programmes you have on a PC? I really want it to look really good.

  • Cuban pancakes?

I was in Miami recently and went to this cuban beach there and had the best pancake things ever! They were small round thick pancakes with melted cheese inside and you could have onions or peppers or whatever on them and it was lovely! Does anyone know what they're called, or have a recipe of them? I'd love to try them again.

  • Anyone out there from Key West?

I recently spent some time in Key West. Of all the places I've travelled to in the world, this is the one place I could actually see myself settling. I LOVED it. Coming from a big city, it really appealed to me, and their was the advantage that we speak the same language! (I'm from the UK). Is it really that great? Or is it more of a holiday place?

  • Can a damaged Nintendo DS screen be repaired?

My DS screen is not as sensitive as it used to be - sometimes you have to tap the screen several times for it to register, though only in certain areas. Is it possible to have this repaired? Or do I need to just get a new one? If you can get it repaired, how do I go about doing this?
