i have a ATA harddisk in my pc of 40gb HDD and 865 gygabyte(company name) motherboard. can i buy and run a sata HDD and run both in my pc. coz i plan to shift to vista...is it necessary to have sata for vista...yes or not...can i run both on same pc. and also can i install new mac os to this configuration. my ram is 640mb and and i have dvd drive.

my computer had 256mb ddr ram...and i upgraded it to 640mb ram..yet my comuter works slowly..i think just like the effect of a 256mb ram...what do i do..i installed norton 2006 in my pc..is it slowing my computer..but still 640mb can withstand norton processes i guess...anyway iam thinking of installing avg free edition instead of norton..do u think its wise to do that..will the protection level come down..or is there any step left to do if we increase ram..please suggest a way
