What is the best way to sell jewelry to get the best price for it?
I have an old pair of diamond earrings that I took to a locally owned jewelry store. They said they would be worth about $1000-$1200. Would that be the most I could get? How or where do I go?
2 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoAnybody know why my right-click on my mouse won't do anything at all?
It was working the other day but I noticed yesterday that it wasn't doing anything. The box don't pop up anywhere when I click it. It's very frustrating!
4 AnswersAdd-ons1 decade agoAm I under any obligation to let my ex claim my daughter on his taxes?
We were never married, actually, I found out well after I left him that he was still married from like 15 years prior and just never got a divorce. That was a nice blow, anyhoo, I have claimed our daughter every year, she's 5 now. He says it's the "right" thing for me to do to allow him to claim her since I've "screw him the last 4 years" regarding him paying child support and being taxed on it. He says he is rightfully owed this money that he never sees. He does pay child support, well has it garnished, but does nothing else for her. Buys her very little when he has her, which is sporadic in itself. He's never bought anything I asked him to for her or contributed any. I know I'm doing the right thing I guess I want some feedback to reassure myself. Even his family tells me it's a bad idea and I am not going to do it. Just curious...
8 AnswersUnited States1 decade agoAre the smartridges for the VTech V.Smile Cyber Pocket the same as those for the V.Smile V.Motion?
I bought my daughter a Cyber Pocket for her birthday and have some smartridges but I bought them second hand so I didn't see the package they came in. Can the ones used for the Motion be used with the Cyber Pocket?
1 AnswerToys1 decade agoVTech V.Smile Cyber Pocket vs Nintendo DS, DSi or DS lite?
I have a almost 5 year old daughter, in a week, and she has never had a video game system, aside from a Clickstart computer for the TV. The DS is more expensive but which would be most likely better for her?
3 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade agoDigital Photo Frames: What do you think of them?
4 AnswersPhotography1 decade agoWhich is better: VTech V.Smile Cyber Pocket or Nintendo DSi?
My daughter will be 5 in a week and I wanted to get one of these for Christmas. She has only played on a computer before and a Leap Frog Clickstart Computer. I wanted to get her something she could take with her. I know the Pocket can be hooked up to the TV and taken on the go and that the DSi can play games and take pics but is more expensive. People that have had experience with both please give me your opinions!
3 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade agoTax question: Can my mom, who does not live with me, claim my daughter on her taxes?
ONLY SERIOUS RESPONSES PLEASE!
My daughter and I have a home and my mom lives in an apartment. I am a full time student and have not worked this year. My mom pays the majority of my bills, thankfully. Since the electric and gas and cable and whatnot are all part of my household that includes my daughter, would this entitle her to be able to claim her as a dependent as well as for EIC? If so this would a good way of paying her back even a little for what she has done for us while I get my degree. Please no rude, condescending remarks.

3 AnswersUnited States1 decade agoWhat does the passing of the health care reform mean?
I have not kept up on this really because either way I didn't figure it would benefit me right now. I'm a single mom going to school full time and currently am not working. I have no health care coverage really but my daughter is on Medicaid so she's covered. That's all I care about, even though I am in desperate need of health care. Anyway, I'm a Republican and know that Rep's are against it. I think I read that only once voted for it and it was really close. What does this mean for me and the rest of us?
6 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoHow can I save my voicemail messages?
I have a Palm Centro through Sprint. I have a couple of voicemails I may need for legal reasons. After a couple of months they are automatically deleted. How can I save them or preserve them elsewhere so that I will have them if I need them?
1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans1 decade agoDo I want an electric provider that is 100% renewable energy?
Does it still work all the time? Are there any times that it goes out or doesn't work? Are the outages the same as with traditional electric?
4 AnswersGreen Living1 decade agoDoes anybody use Dynowatt for their electric provider in Texas?
I am looking at switching and I saw that they have cheap per watt rates while still being 100% renewable energy. Is this a good one to use? Is there anything I need to know about them before signing up?
2 AnswersGreen Living1 decade agoWhat is renewable energy content?
I live in Texas and am looking for a new energy provider. I was looking through the options and it can be filtered by "renewable energy content" ranging from 2% to 100%. What do I want here? I don't know what it means.
2 AnswersGreen Living1 decade agoIs there such thing as a Contemporary Catholic church?
I used to attend a Catholic church as a child. Recently I had been attending an Apostolic Pentacostal church. I want to go back to Catholic but am looking for something more open and not so strict and like clock-work. Any ideas?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWould this look okay for now? I have a tattoo about the size of a grapefruit on my left shoulder.?
I want something on the back of my neck now but don't know if it would look good with not having one on the other shoulder. Would this look "uneven" or what? I know it's my body and I am the one to decide but I am looking for opinions. I hope to get one on the other shoulder one day but not now cuz I don't know what.
2 AnswersTattoos1 decade agoIs there a way to create and print words in dots to trace?
I want to print my daughter's name in dots for her to trace. I have done it in different ways and want to do it this way. I made a few myself but it takes forever to do by hand.
