My 10 yr old dog never been to the vet before, this is because my parents never believed in taking dogs to the vet and we live really far from a vet. We been giving him yearly shots though from a local store that provides pet supplies. I finally have my own money and a license and i have an appointment tomorrow with the vet (my parents keep saying HE IS OK, but since i have money i am taking him on my own), and i am wondering what should i expect? i think he has arthritis because for a day he was in pain and walking weird but i massaged him and let him rest then he healed and back to his normal self. I never been to a vet and i just want to know what they will do exactly.

about 2 hours ago i was walking my 10 yr old dog and a bee went on his head an inch from his right eye and stung him so as soon as we got back home i took the stinger out and it left a bump on his head then his right eye got swollen and he is slobbering a bit so i called the vet and said if hes not breathing hard then no need to take him in, just give in benadryl, so i did, he is still a bit swollen in the eye but still his normal happy self running around in the house with his ball, should i apply ice on his face too to help with the swelling? its been 2 hours and hes just slobbery but playing around like usual so i shouldnt worry?

Ok this happen to me before about 2 times and this was the 3rd, i use my laptop for school and surfing the internet and watching movies, today after working hard on my essay for a long time (the laptop was hot) a computer update went up to restart so i did but while restarting my laptop never turned back on. i tried to press the button to start it myself and the power button turned on but nothing else lighted up, the screen didnt even turn on, i let my laptop cool down for an hour and then it turned on, is it because it was over heated? i am going to best buy to geek squad because thats the only close repair i know of to see what the problem is since it happen 3 times before starting since october, also i do not think my battery can hold a charge anymore because its plugged in but the battery is stuck at 50 percent even after 2 hours of it plugged in....do i need a new battery as well?

i am about to go back to be a sophomore at a university and i realized that after a year of it the college life is not for me and i never wanted to go to college i only went for my mom.....i really just want to do the military like the united states navy so i can travel or something. i will always have my 45 college credits with me if i decide to go back i just don't want to continue right now...is this the right thing to do? i already talked to a recruiter and i just need to loose some weight to be eligible...and im planning on telling my mom soon but i don't know if she will get mad or not. sophomore year starts in 3 weeks so im trying to hint that i dont want to go back.

Something urgent came up for this weekend and i am no longer able to go to the nickleback concert this friday in tacoma washington... i am desperate to sell them so i wont loose money from purchasing them and not going :(

I am at a university (UW Seattle) that i only chosen because in state tuition is cheaper. I want to do something with film or game production and this school has nothing in that field i really want to do. i might go for visual communications but i dont want to do graphic design really. im a freshman in college this yr and im gonna be in the military this summer to help pay for school because i wont be getting help next yr due to financial cuts the school is making. what im being told is that will i return to UW. i think i most likely wont. i rather go to school somewhere else and maybe in a different state too. I want to stay in school but not this school :( Maybe a technical school will be better for me because right now im taking italian, sociology of murder, and english 111.

My dog just turned 8yrs old and during the day he goes outside for the bathroom but at night he goes in the house. My dad is tired of this so is there any tips for training. i was thinking about buying a crate for him to sleep in at night instead of just sleeping on the floor like he does now. will a crate help? or is there any tips i should know?

I personally think it is stupid and good for Green Day to go against it. But why does walmart only sell clean CD's and not allow the f word or something like that to be said in the music they sell. But cursing is bound to be found in books sell there and the rated R movies and some video games. So i think the ban should just go away.....What do you think.

I don't know if i spelled the question right but during lifetime fitness a class in high school we do step aerobics and when we did a move which involves jumping then step turn the step slipped (the steps are just boxes on the floor) my right knee kind of twisted and i felt it pull and it popped and now i can walk it just hurts to sit down or stand up now and to bend my knee or even do squats when im in the class. im wearing a knee brace but im limping to........what should i do?

i used dawn soap on him and he still has some he is hard to get control of since hes only 5 months old so he was scratching me like heck when i used the soap and water so i gave up because i was bleeding but got most of it off except there is some on his ear and paw but not a lot hes a white cat so those areas look brownish now what should i do.

I really want to learn german or french because i travel to europe. but i get tired of people looking at me when they need a translator also no one in my family speech's spanish even though they know it. we always speech english to each other except for the elders the great grand parents?

I want to go in to the military but i dont know what branch yet. i want to travel and i also want to be good at defending people and protect them as well. i like helping people. i was thinking i want to do law for the future or translation because i want to learn a lot of languages because i get along with people from all over the world. But which branch would be better for me...my uncle said the navy and others say the army...and others say the marines...but they got me into all of them.
