What happens if I can t pay the deductible for an accident I had in a rental car?
I got in an accident in my car and had to pay the deductible. I had a rental and got into an accident on the last day of my car s repairs being done. I dropped off the rental, paid the deductible for my car and told them I d call my insurance company to have the same repair shop take care of it.
So here I am with a $1,300 rental bill and a $500 deductible for the second accident, with neither of them being my highest priority so far as paying bills goes.
I looked up what happens in general and it s not helpful. I already have my car, so not getting my car back isn t possible as a punishment. Basically, before I tell insurance I can t pay it, I just want to know if they can change my coverage on my car in any way or cancel my policy if I can still pay my monthly bill (one of the bills that is a high priority).

I remember hearing this quote from somewhere, but can't remember where.
"All men may put their pants on, but great men know that if one is using the ability to dress oneself as an indication that one is intelligent, that person is clearly an idiot."

If he cares more about my intentions, why is it that people often say "actions speak louder than words"?
Are they trying to piss God off?
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoWhen someone says "we're all sinners", how am I supposed to react to that?
The term "sinning" covers everything from lying about how someone looks in their pants (their *** doesn't look fat) to genocide.
Am I really supposed to react with relief when someone admits that everyone commits social "crimes" against one another?
In light of my knowledge of self-justification and how one of the best ways to dismiss all of your own dissonant acts is by saying everybody does it (IE it's not a big deal, everybody lies about some things), it really doesn't make me feel good when I hear "we're all sinners".
Then again, if people actually thought critically about their religions, there'd be no religious people.
18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoHow can some christians think THEIR god used evolution?
I can understand if it's just that they haven't thought through the implications. They clearly don't do that a lot.
The conflict I'm referring to is an all-loving, all-seeing, forgiving, merciful god using rules that pit the strong against the weak in a no-holds-barred competition for resources.
I would also like to know why this deity punishes people for playing by his own rules and rewards people for breaking them, but that conflict is secondary to the first one.
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoHow does appealing to universal principles distinguish you from everyone else?
My question will probably sound weird to someone who hasn't studied social psychology, but I'll do my best to explain it.
Typically, when someone is asked what makes them different than others, they will imply covertly or overtly that they are morally and/or ethically superior to others.
If everyone appeals to universal principles to distinguish themselves, how are they really any different?
4 AnswersPsychology6 years agoWhy do people go on about equality?
Particularly when they don't do it themselves. Equality, when applied consistently (and there is no other way to apply a value), leads to treating strangers exactly the same way as you treat family (or vice versa).
