When I turn it on, it makes clicky clicky sounds, opens BIOS, and then stops clicking. When I tell it to save and exit it makes more clickly clicky sounds and then goes back to BIOS.

I have no money and the warranty ran out weeks ago.

What can I do?

The pond snails are likely lymneae stagnalis--maybe, because they are the kind that never grow more than a centimeter or two in diameter, and I've seen pictures of lymneae stagnalis that are almost an inch or even more around. Anyway. I moved my pond snails to a ten gallon with a filter, and I'm wondering if my mystery snail would eat them if I housed them together?

p.s. I DO NOT WANT HIM TO EAT MY POND SNAILS. Just wondering if they can live in peace.

I will make sure the substrate the plants are in is safe for snakes and the plants don't have any sharp spines or anything. I just wonder if it is okay to keep aloe vera plants in a corn snake terrarium? Also, what do you think would be a good way to secure them--if I just put them in clay pots I think she'll be able to knock them over.

I really wanted to ask this on the Corn Snake Forums website but asking questions didn't seem to be an option. I guess I have to be a paid user to ask questions.

I got a 20 gallon long recently, it came with a screen lid but the lid just sits on top of the cage, it doesn't latch, and I am certain she could push her way out of it. I know I need some type of locking/fitting/latching screen lid, I was just wondering what kind you (snake owners) recommend?

Just wondering. I don't plan on ever trying to create this hybrid, and I assume that, since both are pantherophis [elaphe] rat snakes, procreation should be possible. I just wondered if it was something you've ever seen. Like, I know that some corn snake morphs are actually corn/great planes rat snake hybrids.

Are there any snakes that do well in these? Personally it seems like more of a gecko/tree frog-friendly setup.

Given that the setup allows for proper heating, humidity, and enclosure (escape-proof).

Just wondering if anyone knows. I don't plan on doing it any time soon. I haven't looked around--I just wonder if anyone knows of a place/person who can probe adult/sub-adult corn snakes.

I can't find any ANYWHERE. And the things the very few I find online are like 100+ dollars not to mention very pricey shipping, and I don't expect to pay that much for a simple 20 gal aquarium.

Petland, etc. only has, as far as I know, full fish/reptile kits which are too pricey for me.

I have a rosy barb fry that's about two centimeters long. (It spontaneously appeared in my tadpole setup when I had it. Obviously my rosies spawned without my notice and I happened to transfer the fry/egg to the tadpole tank when I added some of my aquarium decos/water.) I've had her/him for a number of weeks... And she's still this small. She's in a goldfish bowl right now since she's too small to put in the tank, where she'll either be eaten or sucked up by the filter. It worries me that she's still so small. I feed her crushed up fish flakes. The water temp is usually around 65 and I don't have any bubbles or filter (I know this is bad, but I'm making do with what I have.)

How long does will it take her to get large enough to put in my main tank? (That is, about as long as the rosies you see at the pet store.)

Why do I get all these stupid ads only on this computer?

I never get these ads on my laptop (which is getting fixed right now) or on the school's computers, and this desktop didn't used to have them. I removed all the extra toolbars and things that I thought might cause it and went to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions and disabled/uninstalled everything I could. THEY ARE STILL THERE.

They show up as this little magnifying glass looking thing over every image on a page, such as on Tumblr, and when you wave over the image (such as, to click on a youtube vid) it takes you to the advertiser's site. As well, there are adds running alongside youtube videos that i am watching (not the ones in the video that precede the video) that MAKE SOUND WHILE I AM LISTENING TO MY VIDEO.

(I've also gone to CONTROL PANEL and uninstalled all the extra toolbars).

I knew this would happen. It's old... And slow. We didn't have it connected to the internet anymore, I just used it for Microsoft Word as it was the only computer in the house that had it and it's so much better to type on than Word Starter or OpenOffice or Kingsoft. Anyway. I had been meaning to take all of my stories and writings... everything I have ever finished or started on and not finished...all my work... and put it on my new laptop, but I just hadn't gotten around to it yet. I posted some of these documents online and transferred a few to the family computer, but all the rest is exclusively on the old computer system.

The other day the electricity went out upstairs for the second or third time and when we got it back on the old computer just wouldn't turn on no matter what I did. I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that it's probably never going to be totally usable again (which sucks, it's the only thing in the house with a decent writing system and I'm so used to Microsoft Word), but I just really really need to get those documents off of there. I heard that you can take out the hard drive and access the stored files/memory/whatever somehow but I have NO CLUE how to do this. I need those documents.

What are my options? What other things can I try?? Any help is appreciated.

They wouldn't be in the same cage. My cockatiel, Mariella, is home alone all day while I'm at school and then we only have a few hours when I get home before she has to go to bed. We only spend a few minutes a day together and otherwise she's alone. She doesn't seem overly stressed or depressed but I know it isn't healthy for her to be alone. I can't afford to care for another cockatiel right now--another cockatiel is really out of the question. I don't really want the added expense and responsibility of a budgie. I'm very busy with schoolwork and such and all my animals' care comes out of my allowance that I don't always get. But I worry about her being alone all day. I was wondering if I should get a budgie simply to keep her company while I'm gone? Would that be a good idea?

I've had this recipe forever, it's the one I always use, but I haven't done it in months so I forget how much white sugar I used. The recipe says 1 cup 'raw sugar,' but I never use raw sugar. Do I have to change the amounts? What do you suggest?

I used PhoneTrans to take all of the music off of my iPhone and put it into my new laptop's iTunes library. But to sync my phone to it (I also spent about two hours adding music to this machine's iTunes) it has to delete everything on my phone and replace it with what's on my laptop (which happens to be the same music, now). But if I do this, will it also delete all of my apps? And will I still be able to use my other computer's iTunes (which has a good bit of music that I don't have room for on my phone--and I can't get it on the laptop by burning it because it doesn't have an optic disk drive)....

Just wanted to know if anyone knew of any...tricks or such to finding a lost snake. She should still be in my room, but she could be anywhere in my very large house... I just fed her--she got out of the thing I was feeding her in while I was right next to her--so I don't expect her to be moving around much u.u I've already looked everywhere I can think of, but.... Does anyone have advice?

She's about 3ft, thin, about 2 and a half years old.
