Are people who eat meat more tempestuous than people who don’t eat meat?
I’ve noticed that vegetarians tend to be far quieter and calmer than people who eat meat, so I’m wondering if meat has an influence on how people behave.
9 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan9 years agoWhy do the movie careers of black men tend to go downhill after they marry foreign women?
When Sidney Poitier was married to a black woman he became the best black actor in Hollywood. He starred in one brilliant movie after another. But once he married a white woman his movie roles dried up and he has never starred in a brilliant movie ever since.
Wesley Snipes had a great movie career while he was romantically involved with black women. He made two movies with Spike Lee – Mo Better Blues and Jungle Fever... that latter being a huge success that propelled him into the movie spotlight. His most memorable movie role was as a Day Walker in the BLADE trilogy. But once he married an Asian woman things went downhill for him. The last BLADE instalment didn’t make as much money as BLADE or BLADE 2 and he had a falling out with the producers and sued New Line Cinema. He was also sent to jail for tax evasion.
Terrence Howard has never been married to a black woman... and hasn’t managed to turn the movie spotlight on himself with any of his roles. He enjoyed a morsel of movie euphoria when he acted in the Academy Award winning film CRASH but that’s about it. He has been married to a white woman and an Asian woman. His white wife took out a restraining order on him and his Asian wife has accused him of beating her up, while he claims she called him a n*****, a monkey and a gorilla. On top of that his latest film Red Tails received little fan fair and fell flat.
But on the top end of the success ladder, the movie careers of Denzel Washington, Samuel L Jackson and Will Smith - who are all married to black women, have gone from strength to strength.
So what do you think the reason is for their lack of success?
7 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups9 years agoWhat would you do to STOP young black men and older black men sagging their pants?
I have a solution for this... unbefitting “fashion” nonsense, but before I make it known, I would like to know what you would do to put a STOP to it.
14 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups9 years agoDo the majority of black people care more about the feelings of foreigners?
From my experience, I have noticed that many black people are quick to show love, concern, compassion and care for people of other races, but they are reluctant to show those same emotions to people of their own race. It’s as though they believe black people DESERVE pain. Have you noticed that too?
4 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups9 years agoDo you think Trayvon Martin’s mother is WRONG to have no hatred in her heart for George Zimmerman?
I saw a video on YouTube of Trayvon’s mother saying she saw Zimmerman as a human being and that she has no hate for him in her heart.
I was sickened by her foolish words. That man took her sons LIFE and yet she doesn’t hate him. Surely anyone who shows compassion for a MURDERER is beneath contempt!

I was wondering whether his family emigrated from Jamaica to America since some of his songs have a Jamaican lilt to it. Check out this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rx5aVI2zsFE

20 AnswersRap and Hip-Hop1 decade agoQuestion to Khazars "Jews": How do you feel now that black people have discovered they are the Israelites?
Isn't the claim that Khazars are God's chosen people, the main reason why Khazars have taken up residence in Palestine, the land they claim is the Promised Land?
How can Khazars defend those beliefs now that it is common knowledge that the Israelites were in fact the slaves of the Transatlantic Slave Trade and that the Promised Land is actually in Africa?
Don't the Palestinians have a strong case against the Khazars who are squatting in their land? Don't they have the right to put an end to the colonial Israeli State and insist that the Khazars return to Kazakhstan in Europe?
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDoes anyone know when the new Maroon 5 album is coming out?
I'm thinking about buying it. If I finally decide to buy it, it will be the FIRST album by white people that I have ever bought. What a honour that would be! LOL.
2 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoWhy are white people quick to call black people racists?
I always find that white people are quick to label black people as racists, when they speak up for our race ie. promoting segregation.
It's crazy. I mean come on... just look at history - Who are the REAL racists?
23 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoQuestion about learning how to play the piano?
I'm learning how to play the piano via computer. My question is, when you see the numbers by the notes indicating which finger to use, do you HAVE to follow them or are they just a guide?
Sometimes I find following the finger numbers difficult and when I don't follow them I can play the tune with ease. So what's the correct way? Follow the finger numbers exactly or use them only as a guide?

Some friends and I were out and about in London the other day when I noticed that the car in front of us had a funny couple of words on it. The words were: NUCKING FUTS! We couldn't stop laughing. What's the funniest thing you've seen written on a vehicle?
By the way, this is my 1st year on Yahoo Answers (25 December 2008 - 25 December 2009) and may indeed be my last. Would anyone like to wish me a 'HAPPY YAHOO DAY'?

9 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoThis is my 100th Question: How many users do you have BLOCKED on Y/A?
If you reason that this is none of my business (which it isn't) then simply don't answer.
I don't mind telling all on Y/A that I have 59 users blocked.
Overall reason? For making offensive remarks or giving stupid answers.
If you don't mind revealing the number of your blocked users, please also give the overall reason as to why you blocked them. Whoever gives the best or most HUMOROUS reason for blocking users gets the 10 Points.
19 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoApproximately how much money is the worldwide Jehovah's Witnesses organisation worth?
I ask this question because I don't see them providing transport for their elderly to get to their Kingdom Halls. I know of one old lady, almost 80 years old who has been attending JW meetings for decades (I dread to think how much money she has dropped into their offering boxes over those years), yet like so many other elderly JW's, she has to take public transport to get to the Kingdom Hall. This is outrageous when you consider that the not so wealthy smaller churches, which JW's claim are doomed for being part of Babylon the Great, care enough to provide a minibus to pick up their elderly and take them back home again - not so with JW's.
Quite a few years ago I was at a JW meeting and the elders were informing the congregation that they were just one of the congregations donating £200.00 from the offering to put towards buying a car for a Circuit Overseer and his wife, so they could get around. I was totally shocked. They were more concerned with providing a car for two people in the prime of their lives, while the elderly were left to rely on public transport.
The JW organisation is an organisatoin that doesn't pay to have their Kingdom Halls built - they rely on the FREE labour of their members. So why are they so MEAN to their elderly? How much is this worldwide religious organisation really worth? Five million? Ten million?
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIn view that the 25 of December is said to be the birthday of Jesus Christ, who the hell is Father Christmas..?
...or Santa Claus as some call him? How does he fit in on the 25 of December? Was he by any chance in the stables when the King of the Jews was born? Was he perhaps one of the wise men? Or could he have been the donkey that Mary rode in on?
Your thoughts please.

I wonder if Yahoo Answers is going to 'isolate' THIS question like I believe it did to a similar question I asked!
