  • Why would he text me, then ignore after I replied?

One night he texted me while I was sleeping, I replied in the morning and he never answered. Later that day, we crossed paths and we waved. I knew he was going for coffee with a few other people but I didnt go say hi cause I was weirded out by what happened earlier. He ended up messaging me saying "hey saw you waved, why didnt you come hang out?" I lied and said I was giving my cousin a ride somewhere cause I figured him ignoring me earlier might have been a mistake. Conversation ended there

This morning around 10, he texted me again and asked how I was, and then he never replied to me (I said "Not too shabby just at work, how about yourself?")

Two times now in one week. We've known each other for a few years, but only recently we started texting and we texted quite a bit over a two week period. We finally hung out once, then he stopped texting me except those two times. Whats up?

  • How do you tell if a guy likes you?

And dont say "just ask him". its not as easy for some people as it is for others.

  • How does one approach a guy she likes when she's shy as f*ck?

It's one of my 'co-workers' (well, we work in the same building for separate companies, but have become pretty good friends) We used to work the same shifts together and I started to really like him. He eventually got transferred to another location two months ago but still works where I do once in a while. This past Sunday he took someones shift so we worked together and all my feelings for him flooded back and hit me in the face.

Between when he transferred and this past weekend, I think we texted on three separate occasions, but they were short conversations. Once he initiated and was quite the random text. Based on other things I feel like he likes me too, for example:

-he comes to talk to me a lot at work

-made a comment about one of the security guards talking to me, seemed a little jealous, and even joined the conversation later on when the same guard was talking to me

-teases me a lot (in a good way)

    -made a dirty/funny comment

-We work for car rental companies and he asked me to help him move cars, and he always gives me the cars I like when he asks me.

Anyways. I'm shy as ****. I think he's shy as ****. I really dont know how to approach him :(

  • If he was actually interested... He would text me, right?

This guy I know started talking to me about a month after him and his GF broke up. Not gonna lie he tried sexting with him but I called him out and shot him down. I thought that was the end of that but turned out he kept talking to me. We kept talking, but pretty brief conversations. We eventually hung out. Nothing special just went for coffee and chatted. He didnt say anything crude nor did he try anything. I texted him later that night, once again it was a brief conversation. That was the last time we chatted though, 5 days ago. I've been thinking about texting him, but I dont want to chase him if he is just looking for sex. If he was interested in me as a person, he'd have made an effort to text me at least once these past few days, right?

  • Is he bad news or am I paranoid?

This guy I know broke up with his 5 year GF a couple months ago. I've known him for a few years but werent more than acquaintances.

He recently started talking to me, and has expressed how attracted he is to me. He admitted that he's always been into me but didn't pursue me as he was in a relationship.

The red flag he's given off tho is that he tried sexting with me a few times, I kept denying him tho. He also implied sending pictures, I asked him not to and respected that (and has not tried since).

We hung out for the first time on Thursday. Didnt do anything special, just had coffee and hung out. I enjoyed it, and he didnt try anything. Didnt even try kissing me or didnt invite me over. We just hugged before parting ways.

Later we briefly texted, and we both said we want to hang out again.

We havent texted since. Its now Sunday. I want to text him but I know hes having a guys weekend so I dont want to bug him. But I saw this random girl he recently added to FB tag him in a status thanking him for calling her to say happy bday right at midnight.

After seeing that, I started wondering how many girls he was talking to or had on the go. I know this is the irrational side talking (due to being cheated on before by my ex in the past) but I cant help but wonder.

I was thinking about texting him after the weekend (on tuesday since its a long weekend). Should I? I dont want to do any chasing if he's going after more than one girl... Bad news or am I just being paranoid

  • Should I be friends with benefits with this guy?

This guy I've known for a couple years just broke up with his 5 year long GF a couple weeks ago.

We've never really talked much aside from when we were hanging out with mutual friends (how we met).

But recently he started talking to me on FB and eventually asked for my number.

It started becoming VERY obvious he just wanted to hook up so I called him out on it. He said that he'd like to be friends with me but with some benefits on the side. I said I wasnt really sure how I felt about that. We kept talked for another half hour till I went to bed.

Today I was thinking about it. I've been single for over two years now. In that two years and a bit years, I've only had sex once. At this point, I just want something real. I'm ready to meet someone and get serious.

Problem is, I dont really have guys lined up for me right now. Honestly, I have NO guys interested in me. Haven't had anyone interested in me since I broke up with my ex. I'm not gonna lie, I'm kind of lonely.

Now, there's this guy who wants a no strings attached FWB relationship. He just got out of a long relationship so I dont expect him to want to jump into a new one (I dont think we'd really suit each other as a couple anyways). I havent had any male interaction in over two years except for that one hookup. Should I do it? One part of me says "You're young! Live a little while you're single, you deserve it!" and the other part of me says "You know, it's kind of slutty."

  • Is it normal to orgasm in your sleep?

Last night, from what I remember, I was having a dream about the guy I currently like/am talking to. It wasn't a dirty dream, I faintly remember it but he was fully clothed. I suddenly woke up to an orgasmic like feeling, even my toes curled like they do when I orgasm. My hands also were no where near my vagina. Is this normal?

If it makes any difference, I am a 21 year old female, not a virgin, have not had sex in over 6 months now.

  • My tongue hurts a little where I got it pierced?

I got it pierced about 88 months ago. I went to a reputable place that is very popular in my city. I've never had any issues, it healed perfectly fine and I followed the after care instructions religiously. I also only use jewellery from the shop I got the piercing done at.

It is ever so slightly sore just at the piercing. Is this normal to occur sometimes? Its not near unbearable, just something I noticed mid day and didnt really think about it as I went about my day.

Side note: Those who dont like tongue piercings keep your comments to yourself, I dont care about what you think lol

  • Whats the best way to unclog a sink drain?

My kitchen sink is clogged. I already tried "Draino" (this strong chemical used to unclog the drain) but that hasn't worked. It still drain out very slowly, so it's not completely clogged. Should I try draino again? What other option do I have? I would rather not call a plumber

  • What would involve with fixing a leaky ceiling?

The ceiling in my bedroom has sprung two leaks. One is pretty small, where only tiny drops of water drop once in a while. The other leak though is pretty bad. Big drops of water are consistently dripping and once in a while it turns into a straight flow of water. This started this morning. I live on the first floor of an apartment building. I have already called my landlady and someone is supposed to come look at it either this evening or tomorrow morning. I'm just wondering what would involve fixing this? I have no idea how long the pipe has been leaking for, all I know is that is just broke through the ceiling and one spot is really bad.

  • I cant scroll with my touchpad?

I have an Asus Windows 8 Laptop. Today it stopped allowing me to scroll with my touch pad through web pages. Like, I either have to use the arrow key or click on that side bar thing (I cant think of the word lol).

I can still move the mouse and click with the touch pad though.

I have tried going into the mouse settings but I cant find where to go/what I have tried didn't work.

It stopped working today after my laptop did one of its regular updates.

  • What was the point of him texting me?

Long story short, we worked together, I developed a huge crush on him, I thought he liked me, and he got a new job.

A few weeks later, I saw him very briefly, so I texted him but it was a very short conversation. I came to the conclusion he wasnt interested after all.

Now, a month later, today, he texted me a random (perfect conversation starter) message. I was at work and I dont keep my phone on me, because well I'm at work (which he knows), so I replied an hour after when I went on break. 4 hours later, he finally replies saying "cool"

Umm... Im confused. Why would he text me just to say cool to my response? lol I completely got my hopes up for nothing. I ended up saying "Yea. So, how have you been?" but still no answer, that was two hours ago now.

  • My cats 'leftovers' smells horrendous. Is there anything I can give him to make it not smell bad?

My cats poop smells just awful. I have one of those litter boxes with a lid and I use litter that's supposed to mask the smell, but everytime he goes it stinks up my whole apartment and it makes me gag. I never invite people over because of that. I have tried putting him on different types of food (and yes I slowly transition him by mixing his foods up). I only give him a couple treats every few days so I dont think its that. I dont want to put him on any medication or anything like that.. But there must be something I can do. It's bad. Help? Giving him to another family is NOT an option. If I adopt a pet I make it a commitment no matter what.

If it makes a difference, he is almost two years old and he is fixed, all shots up to date.

  • My friends cat keeps getting serious allergic reactions, what could it be?

Basically he gets sores all over his body and face, and scratches until he bleeds. It's not flees, we checked for them. She's been to the vet a couple times to get anti-biotics for the sores to heal them, and they aren't sure what it is either. She's tried changing foods, changing his litter, neither of those worked. When she had to go out of town for a week she brought him to her moms house and the sores started to heal. So instead of bringing him home she left him at her mothers and he completely healed up. My friend had a pretty old couch so she figured it might have been something in the couch irritating him, so she bought a new one, cleaned her apartment and brought him home. Three days later the sores started to develop again so she's bringing him back to her mothers place. There are no carpets at her place either. What else could it be? She's at a loss. These sores started a couple months after she moved into her current apartment.

  • How can I get my cat to 'relax'?

My cat is a spaz. Very high energy. I try to play with him as much as possible but his energy just never ends. The description the shelter gave him when I adopted him was "he's like the energizer bunny, but never runs out of batteries" and that is dead on the truth. I've had him for over a year now, I figured by now he would calm down, but no. He likes to run across my apartment, and he makes a lot of noise. Like he'll be laying down and out of nowhere jump up, basically do a 'burn out' and run where ever. I play with him lots but his energy never runs out! I love him to bits but he keeps knocking things over and has broken a few things.

If it makes a difference, he's almost two years old, and he is fixed

  • Leak sprung in my bedroom ceiling. How big of a job would this be and do I have to pay rent for the time I can't stay in my apartment?

A leak has sprung in the ceiling (not roof, there's a floor above me) of my bedroom in my apartment. I've contacted my landlord a he's getting someone to come look at it today. My question is, how big of a job will this be to repair, and if it ends up being a big job that'll make me need to stay at my parents for say a month, would I have to pay rent for that month considering I can't live here while repairs are being made? All I can find in the landlord tenant act about repairs is that the landlord is required to take care of them ASAP and not at the expense of the tenant (unless damage was caused by them).

  • Should I make the first move?

K so, I used to work with this guy. I started to really like him. We no longer work with each other though... But I still like him. It's only been two weeks now since he's moved to a new work location. I added him to Facebook a little over a month now. Other than that, no communication outside of work. I haven't texted him yet as he was on vacation and only returned a couple days ago (I gave him my number about two months ago for work purposes, hoping he'd take advantage of having my number, but he didnt..). I'm planning on texting him tomorrow, asking how his vacation was, but I'm nervous, and wondering if it would be too 'chasy' (I know I sound like a freaken 8th grader lol)

I THINK he likes me. Like we talked ALL the time at work. He knocked on the wall separating our desks once in a while 'to check if I was there'. He tried dripping water on my head with a snow brush after he brushed off cars (we work for car rentals). One time, when he was hung over I said I wouldn't bug him much that day, and he said it was okay if I did it. So I said 'you sure you wont bite my head off' as a joke, and he replied "I wouldnt do that to you". He also offered to tell off a guy that was creeping on me hardcore and making me uncomfortable.. Those are some examples of what makes me think he likes me too. I dont know, what are your thoughts? Cause I've been thinking if he liked me he'd text me, but he might also be nervous/scared like I am too.

Why do I have to be such a chicken sh*t? lol
