  • Can i put naphthalene balls in my camera bag ?

ok just found ants on my canon 5D mark 2… i totally flipped out and freaked out … i always have odd brushes to clean electronics. so my old Mascara brush came to rescue as it perfectly dragged out the jerks walking along the tiny ridges where the gripping part meets the mark 2's face plate.

at this point i thought i had sort of caught them trying too get in… i think few might have gotten in through the battery compartment.few were around the rubber around the viewfinder and around the hotshoe… all of them were removed with the mascara brush…. now my camera is resting for the past half hour with a naphthalene ball in its battery compartment. after half an hour 2 more crawled out… now my only question is since naphthalene sublimates into a gas… …it cant affect the internal circuitry by any chance…. and hence of further protection can i leave some naphthalene balls in my camera bag?? is it safe ?

  • Wass the props with christians...??? They never agree to Bible being a book of christian mythology.?

Where as every other religion's texts are known to be part of their mythology, like Greek Mythology, as is bhagvad gita for hindus and kuran for muslims are a part of their own mythology. these stories and text are full of magic as vivid as any other fairy tale. But christians (also muslims) these thigs did really happen and heir texts speak the ultimate truth. I have seen some hindus do the same with their stories of ramayana and mahabharata. Exception being their text gita which i suppose is juss a doctrine on ideal living with basic do's and don'ts.

  • why can't death-row victims be "HUMANELY" culled for cannibalistic purposes?

well i was just pondering, since its highly prejudiced to think its ok to eat anything other than your own kind. I do think cannibalists have a valid point when it comes to suffice their taste, and whats unethical about humanly culling death-row sentensees to be packaged and sold as human meat in specialty meat boutiques which already sell frog, dog, French and German horses, Australian gator , crocs and kangaroos. I don't see the harm innit...

  • Are a majority of General American Christian population merging with Radical Christians ?

Hence Blurring the already thin line. As recent events suggest the increase of intolerance in christian attitude. Discrimination of Atheists in America. Is this Radical Christianity on the rise. Coz if within the last decade... this is how it all started with radical islam and mainly Taliban(both were there form before) but the pace picked up tremendously. If yes, is America ready for the age of Chirstaban (Christianity+Taliban)?

P.S - Please don't think i am exaggerating. That's what everyone said when radical islam and taliban were on the rise.

  • How long would it take to master Still life?

I am applying for UG Fashion Design, Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp, Belgium. Also to Central Saint Martins, London as a second choice. I have to submit my portfolio for CSM by March’09 and need to Personally go to antwerp for entrance examination for RAFA in July’09. Both these colleges are supposed to be suckers for Still life and Water colour , fine arts basically. Hence i am looking forward to improving my skills. My strong points are Fashion illustration, Fashion Photography and pattern making.

I am technically not into fine arts coz basically i like illustrative design to Skew and obscure reality into some thing else... its always been exciting that way... hence always found realistic reproductive still life pretty boring hence i get really impatient while drawing and doing water colour, my executions are’t that bad, coz i do come up with good compositions when in good mood and good times. So as u see i can’t rely on that for entrance examination and portfolio. But i am ready to rectify and practice had as i realize i do lack professional touch in perspective and proportions, hence would like to improve on them ...

Basically for CSM i have time till Feb end and for RAFA i have till june ... so juss i want to know if i practice hard everyday (4-6hrs), how long will it take for me to master Still life. Because even though its an UG course... Other Kids will be really pro who come there , and i need to measure up among them. Its one of the Toughest Design Schools to get into in this world & its been my dream to study there.
