Hey folks, hoping someone could help me out here, got a bunch on questions due tomorrow and finished all but this 1 (Since I cant remember the formulas :P ) any help would be greatly appreciated. Its a 3-parter so here goes:

The points A (0,-10) B (10,3) and C (-4,10) are the vertices/points of a triangle.

(a) find the equation of side AC

(b) find the equations of altitude AP and median BQ

(c) the coordinates of the point of intersection of AP and BQ

even just the formulas would help me out a lot since I hate handing in papers with 1 question missed out :P

Hey guys, kinda a weird problem here but hopefully i can explain it effectively.

I had a problem with my main hard drive so i had to remove it (which had a good few achievements I accumulated offline) so when i inserted my backup hard drive and recovered my online gamertag it obviously showed up without the offline achievements added.

However now my main hard drive is working again I loaded it up and signed into my profile, however it seems to have split into two separate branches of the same account, one having all the achievements I accumulated offline, and one with a few achievements i gained whilst playing online with my back-up hard drive.

Is there a way I could merge the two since they are technically the same account but both with different achievements :/

Found a blackbird in my garden which is unable to fly, keep its balance or even walk a short distance..... it seems drunk or braindamaged would be the best wayy to summarise it yet I see absolutely no visible injuries on any part of its body, what would you recommend I do to help the poor thing cos I really dont like leaving it like that all through the night in case a cat gets it :(

Hey guys, I hope this is the final problem I face whilst setting up my new PC, the problem is this:

The OS that came with my pc is ubuntu (Which I am a total newbie to) although I have a copy of windows 7 ready to install over the top of it, I was wondering how I would do that, it seems mpossible to download anything from disk onto ubuntu and I'm a bit clueless about that kinda stuff so if you could explain to me how to do it in beginners terms I would really appreciate that,

Hey guys, I'm thinking of buying a computer for gaming on the likes of world of warcraft, football manager etc.

I found one I think will do the trick but I just wanted to ask everyones opinions on yahoo answers if these specs will be able to handle the requirements for these games:

Hey guys, I got an imedia 1318 packard bell computer i think and ive been having an issue recently which has left me unable to turn the computer on.

A few days ago i got an issue where the computer was stuck trying to shut down and wouldnt let me do anything, so i unplugged it at the wall and now ironically I cannot seem to turn it back on.

I get a flickering powerlight at the front of the computer as tho it is weakly picking up some power and when i turn the monitor on it loudly crackles and then says "no signal" so im at a loss of how to fix this problem.....any help offered would be greatly, greatly, greatly appreciated so many thanks in advance to any help offered :D

Dunno if this is a silly question or not but is it possible to change difficulty within the 1 save file on Arkham Asylum?

Already captured joker, got the ending and solved all riddles aswell as unlocked the world greatest detective achievement.....was wondering if theres anything more I need to do as it seems I'm running around an empty arkham island.

Anyways, any help offered would be greatly appreciated as it would be a massive pain to start all over again on another save file just to complete hard mode.

Hey guys, im on day 3 just now at 7pm with 53,900 zombies killed...from experience or whatever do you guys think its possible for me to make the 72,000 kill this playthrough for the achievement cos I dont wanna start over but i also dont wanna keep playing now if the achievement is outta reach due to time restrictions.

Hey guys...just something thats both puzzling/annoying the life outta me.

Already gt the 50 survivors achievement and dont really need to save these survivors however it still bugs me:

The 3 missable survivors in the royal flush plaza keep defecting automatically everytime i trigger their appearance (bessie, rosa and erica are their names and they appear in kathys space on the 2nd day and the 2nd case) i dont hit them, or anything it just seems they auto defect when their appearances trigger...any help here cos i wanna do a perfect run through and this is a real spanner in the works

I prefer alot of the 90's wrestling to the stuff today so I've recently began collecting all old WWF dvds and videos, I wanna start doing the same with WCW stuff also but I'm having a hard time finding anything for it.

What I wanna know is, is there any websites or places in the UK that sell old episodes of WCW Nitro or PPV's or something, any help offered would be greatly appreciated.

I recently had to reinstall windows xp due to a virus that corrupted my hard drive, as a result my computer restarted from scratch, I lost all my programs and settings and everything

I don't mind that part however, the part thats causing me bother is my graphics card, I no longer have the installation disc for it and I was wondering if there is any other way to get my computer to recognise my graphics card as it was changed when I upgraded my computer a while back

I believe its an ati catalyst graphics card or something similar to that sort of thing

I have my English Higher Exam tomorrow and Whilst I have been studying carefully a few texts and plays, Its almost certain I may need a backup or two, so I have chosen "The Truman Show" as one and "letter to daniel" for the other.

Now I have seen truman show and have a copy of "letter to daniel" right in front of me, unfortunately I did not get the notes on either, just for a worst case scenario I wanna have a brief overview of the notes and or key points I would need for both, generalised, since obviously its impossible to tell which question I may be asked in the exam

I was wondering if any1 knew a website I could get notes on either or give me a brief overview from experience?

Hi folks, basically I'm doing 3 highers this year and 1 intermediate 2 (scottish exams)

I feel fairly confident about my other sujects but I cannot seem to grasp the concept of essay writing for english for some reason, I really don't want it dragging me down so I was wondering if any1 out there has any tips or hints on how to write a good essay

I was lucky enough to get an essay on frankenstein where I have to "explore the theme of creation" I don't want any1 to write an essay out for me obviously, but a few pointers on how to go about it would be much appreciated :D

Hey, wondering if any1 could help me here,

As someone who has completed all metal gear solid games

and got every single emblem in the game in mgs4 (Including the big boss emblem)

I thought with that kind of experience metal gear online would be 2nd nature to me (or I'd be at least tough to beat)

However it seems whenever I hide I get head-shot

Whenever I get involved in a firefight I get headshot

It doesnt matter what I do, I always end up shot

I am currently level 2 and frequently play with folk around lvl 8-15 although I have been told level isn't all that matters..

I really wanna improve my kill/death ratio as I hate being no good at a certain video game (especially a mgs one :P )

there are far better mgs players out there and I was wondering if they could give me any general tips or hints to survive, increase my headshot count or whatever

not really a question, more asking for your opinions on this one.

Been playing on a few lower lvl characters recently, both horde and ally, so I dunno if this holds true in other BG's but in Warsong Gulch I have noticed the alliance have really improved

Not that they were consistently bad, but usually horde could own alliance 3-0/3-1 etc. and be considered a normal result.

Main reason I chose horde in the first place was because they were much better in PvP which I find most fun (so why pick a side that mostly lost and be miserable?)

I'm not complaining that alliance are getting better, it makes it harder and more fun, since theres an actual sense of accomplishment when you beat the opposing team now.

Was wondering what your opinion on this is?

Do you think alot of good horde players have re'rolled alliance?

Do you think its cos WOTLK was kinder to alliance PvP wise?

or do you think I'm talking rubbish? lol

Alot more twinks are popping up for both teams aswell I noticed lol

I don't need a crack or anything for it as I have my activation code, and its not piracy since I have already bought the full game at full price lol

the problem in the first place was that football manager is a dvd-rom drive game, whilst I only have a cd-rom drive...

hence the game won't install and I need to do it through the internet...

would be greatful to any1 that could show me where to download the game from

after I solve this problem, I can then tackle the problems with tactics and in-game issues.....yay!
