I used that recipe to make a jar of caramel sauce and it's smooth but not smooth. I think my milk might have curdled in the hot sugar..or the sugar didn't melt all the way ( She says to warm it for 16 minutes but my sugar started melting WAY sooner than she said it would ) I honestly have no idea. I suck at caramel...

I'm trying to find stores ( Online is fine ) that sell clothes like Kenzi's from lost girl. Google is no help at all and don't say Hot Topic. All they sell are plaid skirts and loser tshirts these days. Less of her "gothy" look and more of her "punk/grunge/rocker" look.

My boyfriend doesnt like the feel of lipgloss/chapstick not even a little bit. Which I can deal with because I dont use the slippery sticky glosses myself, but I do use carmex for day to day moisturization. He cant stand the feel of that either, not the thinnest layer. How can I keep my lips kissable without causing him discomfort?

My laptop is out for repairs so I've placed my laptop in a SATA enclosure so that I can use the information on it with my temporary while it's gone. I've been able to access several of the programs installed on it. Microsoft office works, Photoshop runs fine ( I've even been able to add a shortcut to it onto my new desktop ), minecraft works as well.

My main concerns are Adobe InDesign and AutoCAD which I need for class. Sure I get lab time but it helps alot to be able to use these programs at home. Why will some programs run from my hard drive with the SATA but not others? Before I sent it off I put the hard drive back in the old laptop and the programs worked just fine but they won't run on this one from the enclosure. Any help is appreciated.

I'm moving into my sister's old room and I want to paint it this shade of red ( http://www.rockforthegiggle.com/upload/Dark_Red_Ba... ) with some black elements thrown in. My room is going to be loosely based on a Kuroshitsuji ( black butler ) theme.

My main concern is what is this shade of color going to do to the lighting in the room? I do a lot of reading and drawing so I don't want it to be too too dark...

I have a friend in the witness protection program and it's been several years and some people that we shared in common said they've seen them around but I haven't been able to contact them. It's been several years and I'm wondering if it's safe to try and contact them? Would the police help me if I submitted to a background check or something? We were REALLY good friends from like ages ago and I really miss them...

I have an HP DV6000 and if you know about the model you know it came with a faulty motherboard. I don't know how to install a motherboard and it seems that shopping for one compatible with this model is risky and not worth it for a motherboard that's just going to fry again.

My question :: Can I buy a different laptop case and install my hard drive into a computer that is compatible with it? If so, any suggestions on models to look for?

If I can get the computer to turn on again I'll add details on the hard drive that I have installed, it's the default that it came with

I've done everything that Steam wanted me to do to install. I disabled UAC and that got it installed but it screwed up some other programs so I had to do a sys restore...

It wanted me to uninstall AVG and I did... but it still won't install... I'm the administrator on the computer and I'm logged in on the admin account but it doesn't give me the option to run the installer as administrator.

What else does Steam want me to do before I can install it?

I just got a steam account to play with my friends but it won't install on my computer. I tried the disable User Account Control fix and while that did work I lost some programs, documents and messenger archives [ and who knows what else ] because it said it did some kind of restore. So I did a system restore to recover my lost items..

But now I'm back to square one. I can't download steam and every time I try it says administrator has set policies to prevent this installation. I also tried the disabling AVG fix and that didn't work at all. I'm using Windows Vista and the account on the computer is mine, the admin and the only one

My model laptop is HP Pavilion DV6000. It was one of the models included in the Nvidia recall but I missed it. I want to buy a new motherboard and I've been informed to purchase one that would use an intel processor or utilize an AMD processor. I had it on but it froze for two hours and I had to shut it down because it was burning up [ with a fan ] so I don't know which I had but from the times I went to my specs I'm pretty sure it has an intel processor...

I know it's dangerous to buy on ebay and I'm inexperienced with shopping there for electronics. If anyone can tell me which motherboard I should buy I would be eternally grateful

My DV6000 has been out of commission for about a year now [ yes I've already gotten a new computer but that's not the issue.. ]. I need to send my current machine out for body repair and I was going to use that old laptop to get by in my classes [ college profs don't understand broken equipment and libraries don't function in the hours that I need use of them and our university 24 hour library is NOT a safe place after hours.. ]

I recently found out that there was a Silent Recall on the DV600 motherboards. Every single one malfunctioned. Those who contacted HP in the small window that they gave received replacement motherboards [ the exact same ones that malfunctioned the first time and would eventually do so again ]

Is there anyone out there who's had this same model laptop and gotten it successfully fixed? Does anyone know if I can get a different model motherboard for this computer? I know "if you buy a new motherboard you may as well buy a new computer" but this was my first laptop, it's got sentimental value, I'd just upgraded the RAM before it died and it was performing great! [except the speakers were broken due to the motherboard issues] and there's still things that I want off of it that best buy can't pull from my hard drive...

Yes I have a Validated copy of Vista. It came pre installed on my machine. It worked just fine earlier today... then after a few hours I clicked it and nothing. This has never happened before. I tried the start menu button on the keyboard and that worked once but not since. I've googled the answer for this fix but I don't really understand it... Can anyone dumb it down for me? I'd really hate to have to do a system restore when I can't back up my system... Is there another way to fix this?

I had the free version of vaulty which worked great. I upgraded so that I would be able to share from my gallery.... but it tells me that there are no programs which can perform this operation. Also, I click the share to send an item to the "stocks" vaulty pro app and I waited ALL DAY and they're still in my phone memory. How long is it supposed to take? Anyone else having these problems? I have a Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant 3G

My sister moved out a year ago and we still have a room full of her stuff [ plus a basement full of other stuff ] and I want to have a garage sale to get rid of at least some of it. What we don't sell, donate to good will. My mom doesn't want to...she says that all we have is junk that no one wants to buy. There's clothes, purses, shoes, baby items, TONS of toys and games that no ones playing with, a coffee table somewhere.... movies no one watches, an old computer someone can tinker with, other electronics that we don't use but still work, books no ones reading, and lots of other stuff... I'm not trying to make a fortune, just give some old items a good home.

How can I convince her that a garage sale might be fun [ and a quick way to move out my sisters junk ] or should I just give up on the idea and throw all of this stuff away?

My two friends want us to bond over some multiplayer games on the PS3. The only hang up is, they're hardcore gamers [ two guys ] and I'm a casual gamer [ female ] but they love me anyway.

So one wants FPS [ first person shooter ], one wants an RPG or MMORPG and I'm just kind of in the middle waiting for something that I can play and won't slow them down in... The game has to be multiplayer with multiplayer online capabilities because we're in three different states.

When my BF kisses he ALWAYS licks his lips... and he wants me to do the same. I hate when kisses get wet... I have OCD and wet kissing is one of my all time peeves! It's not that he's bad... I just hate the wetness... How do I tell him I'm not into it without hurting his feelings?

Around eight months ago I bought my two turtles [ yellow belly slider and mississippi mapped ] 15 feeder fish. They loved them for a while but began to eat them less and less. Now I have two still remaining and they show no interest in them. Since I was given the turtles about two years ago I've been feeding them with turtle pellets every two to three days. In the last two months I've been noticing that less and less of the pellets seem to be getting eaten. Their behavior and activity hasn't changed and they appear to be well physically but it makes me worry if they're not eating. They don't even bother with a cuttle bone anymore.

Is it possible that my turtles may be ill or just bored with what I'm feeding them? I try to give them a variety in terms of protein and various greenery [ suggested by the owner of the local reptile emporium, he's been taking care of herps for 20+ years ] but the pellets I buy based on what's recommended to be best for their well being.

Should I switch up on something I'm feeding them or take them in to the vet?

I would really like for him not to be... he's relatively new to the whole.. thing but he doesn't seem like he's gonna be talked out of it easily... I'm trying my best to be tolerant of his choice but I just think it's so stupid! I dont want him to get the idea in his head to go out and really screw a dog... How do I handle this?
