i have a 20 gallon octagonal fishtank that i have been using as a cage for my hamster.. I want to now use that tank as an actual fishtank and put fish in it, but i dont know the proper way of cleaning it to make sure it is 100% fish safe, any suggestions?

Its actually not water... My dog drooled on my book and only like 10 pages were affected. I recently got a 3 month old winter white hamster. She was housed with her brothers and sisters up until about a weeks ago when i got her. I got home from school and there were 7 babies.... I dont know what to do. I had a winter white hamster before and she only had 3 babies! This is obvioulsy a very young mother, and i have a lot of concerns about the babies health (since the father was most likely a brother, and because the mom is so young) What should i do! Should i go get baby hamster formula?

Yesterday i noticed my Labs lower stomach more by his personal space felt a little hard. He is eating normally and drinking normally along with being active. He doesnt show any sign of distress when you press on his stomach. Now that his stomach has been like this for almost 48 hours i dont know what to think. My parents dont think anything is wrong with him since he has had a hard stomach once before (but for like 12 hours) So is there any home remedies i can give him to help him out. And he did go potty ( #1 and #2) today.

my dogs stomach feels like a balloon and is kinda hard. He is acting perfectly normal. He pooed this morning and is running around the yard like a crazed squirell. His stomache has been like this for about 24 hours. Should i feed him his breakfast? What should i do? I think he may have gotten in his bag of food.

Im looking for a healthy dog food for my lab, he is on Purina One now but i was thinking of switching to Authority because it has glucosamine in it (Yes i know it is of no medicinal value, we have pills for that.) and it just seemed healthier. i hace a plastic retainer that i was supposed to wear but i kinda put it to the side and thought my teeth wont shift.. well they have.. I have one of those clear plastic retainers i can still fit it onto my teeth (it is tight) if i wear it every night and part of the day can i get my teeth back to kinda where they were??

my hamster had 3 babies this morning. (She is winter white) i have her in an aquarium that usually has 2 floors, but i took the top floor off when i noticed she was prego. Since she has had her babies and they are safely in the igloo on the bottom floor, can i put the top floor back in so i can put the food up there as to not disturb her as much? And what color do you think the babies will be? (the dad is also a winter white and he is out of her cage)

how do i know if she is going to eat them or not? it looks like she sitting on them and then covering them with her bedding. and than she picked one up and put it back down
