  • Ipod touch questions research for my birthday present?

After not having a working i pod for over a year now (dropped it one too many puddles (ie liquid filled car cup holders), I have finally said enough! Ilke the idea of the ipod touch, likely 8gb. I currently only have like 150 songs on my computer and i've never had the opportunity to get anything that involves a screen because my fried one was a 1gb 1st generation ipod nano. As you can see I'm a little behind in the times with the ipods.

    Games

    1) I noticed that is a big feature. Is that true?

    2) Are they easy to obtain, as in can you get them as easy as you do songs thru itunes or anywhere else?

Movies, tv shows, - Would they take a lot of space fast

Any other helpful information would be welcomed as well

  • is it possible to do the rotc program without actually going into the service?

This is more curosity. I would never qualify medically anyway, but my grandfather was in the us air corps with the engineers. I didn't find out until his funeral in 1997. Ever since I have taken a great interest in the military things. It picked that much more after 9/11.

  • When you go to Mexico, is there a voltage change like there is in Europe?

When you go to Europe, your electronics won't work unless you have a converter. Does the same problem exist in Mexico?

  • Thanks to all members of our armed services?

This isn't a question, just a comment. I am the granddaughter of a 2nd lieutenant veteran of WWII. I didn't learn about this fact until the day of his funeral in 1997. I have taken quite an interest in the armed services since then, especially since 9/11 and the conflicts in the middle east have begone (I realize we are at war, just did a little combining to simplify). I have made a point thank our men and women either are currently serving or did serve in the armed services. So......................THHHHHHHHHHHHAAA... YOU!

For what it's worth, my grandfather was Boyd Corson Myers II, 2nd Lt. Army Air Corps of Engineers. I think he served from 1944-47(8). He stationed in Tennessee. For anyone who may have served there who knows this name, I would love any information you might have. He was also part of the military training program (Early version of ROTC) at Virginia Tech. I can be emailed at Sabecky450@yahoo.com

  • Does ford make pedal extenders for the 1999 ford or at all?

I'm 4'8 with a big suv! I love everything about it except for the gas bill and the fact that i can barely reach the pedals. Where is the place to get them whether it be on line or calling somebody and having it shipped? If ford doesn't, what's best the next best step? I live in Chester County in Pennsylvania. So if any knows something that in area let me know too. Feel free to email me @ sabecky450@yahoo.com in response to this as well

  • What to do as a tourist in west country (england)?

For the 2nd time in about 18 months, I will be going to the province (pardon me if that's the wrong word) of somerset, specifically the small town of frome. I get to pick and choose (for the most part or at least suggest ideas). So far we've come up with Monkey World, London, Bath. We've done the shopping in Bath and London Eye/Hard Rock Cafe in London. What other things do suggest are the best to see in those 2 cities. When I was England in 1998 as a graduation present (with school) i visited both of those cities and loved the both. Bath has changed so much since then. It's become a shopaholics dream in some areas, which takes away from the history. I am a history buff myself. Any other realistic suggestions would be wonderful as well. I have about a week to work with and a pretty flexible schedule too. It helps when you are staying with locals (former neighbors in the states)! Feel free to email with pictures or extensive info at sabecky450@yahoo.com. TTFN~

  • What exactly is a post backing for a pin?

To me it sounds like the one similar to a backing of an earring. The alternative would be one with the long "wire" that you put thru the material, pull it back out and then place the "wire" into a "Clip." I am interested in the 1st one. If i get a pin labeled with a post backing, am i getting a pin that i want?

  • Humerous question: If the airline can get your luggage to the destination...?

Humerous question: If the airline can get your luggage to the destination...why can't they always get their owners there on time?

Last year my family decided to take my dad from Philadelphia (home area) to Vegas for his 60th birthday. Our original tickets had a layover in Dallas. Because of a screw up we left an hour late sprinted to the gate and literally missed the connection by minutes. We saw the door close while we were approaching the gate. Long story short, we ended up having to go to John Wayne Airport (in L.A.) next and then to Vegas. We were the only people who had to go corss county to get to vegas. When we went to claim our luggage off the belt, it wasn't there. Our luggage was at the unclaimed luggage area. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ruff ruff!

  • Are you tired of racism?

I am a caucasian who doesn't see people by the color of their skin but for who they really. With that upbringing i get along with just about everybody. However, with Obama's winning election, more and more race riots are showing up in the news. I thought having a non-caucasian in the white house would help. When will it ever end? We have come so far, and yet so far to go! It's disgusting! With Christmas comming up, instead of peace on earth, i would settle for peace in usa, but i doubt that'll either! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrufffffffffffffffffffffff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May God help us all! P.S. I did vote for obama

  • how many mpg's does a 1999 ford explorer get?

I already have the vehicle, even got a steel (66,000 miles, perfect condition). I got it knowing it was gonna be a gas guzzler. However, even considering i don't drive it very far outside (5-6 miles to/from total) work (on any given week maybe 25 miles), it's holding up pretty well on gas. I refill 1/2 a tank once a week
